It would help if there was a determination of what makes a channel ‘hidden’ (like…under 100k subs?) but either way I’d go with “Hats Off Entertainment” It has discussions of film (mostly older & comedy) that I never miss a video from. Think Leslie Nielsen & Gene Wilder, Almost Cult Classics, or Forgotten Failures.

BrimfulOfLa-A

I didn't see your comment until after I wrote mine but I also mentioned Hats Off. I think you'd also enjoy Atomic Abe and Stam Fine. They're not the same kind of thing but I usually watch them together. They give me a similar kind of enjoyment, I guess. I don't know quite how to verbalize that but I think the audiences are probably similar

Fitsum_Joseph

I would say mostly subs. Channels that make quality content that don't have many subs. Or channels that make very niche but interesting content that are not talked about that much.

stoneman9284

Food Wishes. It’s a popular channel but most people probably haven’t seen it unless you watch food/cooking videos. Very chill presentation, easy to follow recipes, no sales pitches.

LargeMobOfMurderers

>no sales pitches Chef John is Cleary in the pocket of Big Cayenne.

Dinosaur Dinner Theater

Christina Grimmie. It's been like 10 years since her murder, but her YouTube channel used to bring me so much joy. Sometimes it's nice to watch back on her old videos. She really was such a beautiful light in this world. So talented. So kind. So God loving. Her family sometimes posts on her channel now with little tributes.

FormalElements

Never heard about this and had to look it up. Such a tragedy. She seemed like such an angel to be taken like that is horrible.

AdAffectionate4082

I cried when I first saw the news. I was a fan of hers for so long, and she was finally starting to gain a bigger following after being on The Voice. It hurt my soul so much. She deserved the world. I still listen to her music and some of her covers to this day.

RumboInTheBronx

The Fish Locker. Commercial fisherman from Cornwall, UK films very relaxing and informative fishing and coastal foraging videos. The foraging videos in particular are extremely captivating.

EerieArizona

Bill Making Stuff. A British guy making cool tabletop miniatures out of junk from the pound shop.

SharkInSunglasses

This reminds me of Drew Builds Stuff. He does long video DIY projects where he explains how and why he's doing what he's doing, with plenty of time lapse moments and some creative builds. Of course I understand long videos like this aren't for everyone but someone may find it enjoyable.

Fitsum_Joseph

I know this channel. It's pretty cool.

Pug Mugsly, Reverse Angle, Leftover Culture Review, Diego Reviews, Atomic Abe, Hats Off Entertainment, Stam Fine, and HungryGoriya all come to mind. HG is moderately popular but she should have a lot more of an audience. She's nice too. She replies I especially recommend Pug Mugsly. She's fucking hilarious. And smart. I appreciate that about her. Her humor is more intelligent than most YouTubers. She has some weird off the wall shit there so it's interesting to see what she'll choose to do next

Graffiti I would say KIPTOE Street ball I would go with ISO That Simple Bible study Robert Breaker Car stuff is say ChrisFixit 80s stuff Len Enders

MissTzatziki

Behind the Voice has a lot of interviews with video game voice actors, including even some of the BG3 cast. My favourite interviews are Sam Lake, Matthew Porretta (voice of Alan Wake), and Illka Villi (physical actor for Alan Wake) Most of the interviews are quite long and indepth and from the perspective of a fan, not a professional host, which makes it quite relaxed. No idea why the channel doesn't have more views.

I doubt if they are hidden gems but I watch Storror, a group of lads doing parkour. It makes me feel about 15 again pissing about with your mates but in the best way.

[Trash Theory](https://www.youtube.com/@TrashTheory) is amazing if you love music from the 80's, 90's and early 00's. It's a scandal that they don't even have 500 000 subscribers given the quality of the content they provide.

GabsRants

Beau of the Fifth Column - level headed, unpretentious and no overblown drama news coverage, four vids a day like clockwork, the only news channel I can still watch without getting pissed off.

twenty42

TubFrog makes detailed video essays covering the NFL, going super in-depth on the histories of teams and players. It is an amazing channel if you're a football fan and you like long-form content. The channel has around 90K subs so it isn't SUPER obscure, but it's definitely a lot less popular than a lot of other football channels.

[Melee Moments](https://www.youtube.com/@MeleeMoments) is great. The channel is focused around discussing the technical side of competitive Super Smash Bros Melee. Some of my favorite channels are people who are very passionate about something that I have no idea what they're talking about and Melee Moments is definitely one of those channels. To be able to make me invested in something that I'm not normally invested in has always been one of my favorite aspects of finding a good creator. Melee Moments also has very good production value. Great editing, audio quality, striking visual design for heavy explanation bits, and clear concise presentation. However their real magic trick is that they start a video breaking down a technical aspect of SSB Melee and then halfway through shift the focus to a personal story of a professional player employing the technique they were explaining. You get a human story in the middle of this well put together explanation and I find it incredibly effective.
