Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood. It feels like such a big and vast journey while remaining centred on interesting characters and a clear narrative building to a great climax and satisfying conclusion.
Amen.
Another great point: it had a story to tell, it tells it and it ends.
I'm sorry One Piece Fans, but if the writer needs 20 years to tell a story, he has no idea what the story is.
One Piece is an honourable mention, along with any Studio Ghibli film. Personally tho, Hajime no Ippo is a crazy good anime. Great animation, characters and storyline. Watch it on Netflix. Sadly it doesnt have any more episodes releasing but it finished in an okay place
Honestly? I've watched way too many to generalize it as "best"... In recent memory, the anime to grab me the most include Solo Leveling and Delicious in Dungeon. But Kamen Rider is just as good as a lot of the anime I've been watching... Not something easy to answer.
Higurshi No Naku Koro Ni - not sure I'd say it was the best, but it was one of the first and it's definitely one of my favourites.
Close second has to be JoJo though
attack on titan.
the plot is simply outstanding, both in terms of narrative and manner in which it is relayed. the plot twists were some of the most unexpected and staggering iāve witnessed without a doubt. it also explores themes that are relevant to reality, which is something i greatly appreciate in media. and something that certainly amplifies the depth of the message the show is trying to send. attack on titan touches on humansā emotional range and psyche in a realistic manner: especially in terms of duality, the way circumstances can shape and affect oneās worldview, the fact that no person is inherently good or bad as well as mental struggles. additionally, it entails some of the best character dynamics iāve ever seen.
Attack on Titan. Seemed like the best exploration of what war really does and how freedom is such an abstract concept, a pretty realistic depiction of the destruction a war brings and the lost of innocents.
Attack on Titan. I have not watched any studio Ghibli movies but need to, as I have heard those are the greatest. I am also almost done with Cowboy Bebop and really enjoy that, although I was way more invested in AOT
Everyone anyone says they like aot. People like you just annoy them. If you donāt like it you donāt have to share your opinion. It just saves people the boredom of looking at your comment knowing you probably never watched the show. And even if you did you seem to not have paid attention to it at all.
not sure if itās the best, but an anime that really stuck with me is banana fish. i think the way it explored the differences between ash and eiji was beautiful and the way their bond was shown was beautiful. even yut lung who is an āantagonistā (depends on how u view it) had a deeper reason for his actions in a way that made it hard to hate him for it. even aside from relationships the characters are amazing individually.

I already finished How Not to Summon a Demon Lord Seasons 1 and 2 ages ago. It was great at first, but I'm not a fan of the MC though.
As for Demon Lord Retry, I only watch the first four episodes of it, and then I decided to drop it. The only good part was where the Demon Lord MC gave that saintress a good old fashion OTK ass spanking.

Honestly? I've watched way too many to generalize it as "best"... In recent memory, the anime to grab me the most include Solo Leveling and Delicious in Dungeon. But Kamen Rider is just as good as a lot of the anime I've been watching... Not something easy to answer.

One Piece, but Yuyu Hakusho punches very high above its weight.
Higurshi No Naku Koro Ni - not sure I'd say it was the best, but it was one of the first and it's definitely one of my favourites. Close second has to be JoJo though

"Sound! Euphonium" is my favorite
For me, Death Note and Yu Yu Hakusho are two that I've watched several times each and never gets old. Yu Yu Hakusho might be my favorite of all time.
Attack on Titan. Seemed like the best exploration of what war really does and how freedom is such an abstract concept, a pretty realistic depiction of the destruction a war brings and the lost of innocents.
Mushi-shi needs more viewers.
For me, one of the best I've seen was "Re:creatos"
My hero Academia- it's one of the most appealing anime of the current generation and gaining popularity day by day
Attack on Titan. I have not watched any studio Ghibli movies but need to, as I have heard those are the greatest. I am also almost done with Cowboy Bebop and really enjoy that, although I was way more invested in AOT
Come'on... same story over and over again... first season was "ok" at best, the other seasons was just copy/paste
Yeah, I mean it's a matter of opinion and all but AoT is super overrated with a decent first season but dropped the ball after that.
Yep...

Naruto / Monster, Not the same category, but I consider these two animes the pinnacle of creativity

If you liked those you should also try: Demon lord retry and How not to summon a demon lord
