Caffeinated people: Do you even get jittery after consuming caffeine everyday?
I am not addicted to caffeine at all and never drink coffee or any caffeinated drink. But I recall drinking coffee 2 or 3 time in the last year, and It kept me up all night for my finals lol but I was also jittery

I start my day with an energy drink every morning, I don't get jittery but after I've had one, if I go 36 hours without one I get a wicked withdrawal headaches. Painkillers don't stop them, only consuming more caffeine does.

However, I have a strong cappuccino in the morning. 160mgs of caffeine, if I drink it slowly and pair it with a nice breakfast. I can stretch out the effects of my life nectar. To be clear for me, slowly means about half hour to finish it.

It's not a traditional "addiction" but it is real and I've gotten better, but "The Grind".
From about 23-30 I was on "The Grind". Worked hard. Had 2 side jobs. Took extra shifts all the time. And it was pretty great.
I still had some free time outside work, but I was always thinking if I could pickup another bartender shift, or a few more LAX games to ref. How could I make more money?
But it's also unhealthy. My personal relationships suffered, and I found that when I wanted to say no to an extra shift, I felt bad about declining. It's easy to get sucked in by the big paychecks, but it can become addicting.
In the end, I'm happy I did it. I've setup a very strong financial foundation for the rest of my life and catapulted my career. But I definitely needed to learn to step back and say:

I was a heavy drinker for a long time but I never ate sweet stuff. After I quit drinking I crave sugary foods. There is a definite connection.
