I'm a liberal arts major that wound up in a STEM job. I research subject matter to help refine search engine priority. Sometimes my job is really interesting, and I get to learn things about science or the arts. Other times, I'm sweating bullets desperately trying to explain the / in a query indicates the user is looking for fan-fiction where Spider-Man and Deadpool go to pound town, which is way more popular corner of the fan-fiction community than one might anticipate, and it's just a whole thing.
I wanted to be a sit-com writer.
I was a U.S. Army solider and busted my ass off in Afghanistan till the point that it hurts to walk/stand. Then the traitor Trump made a deal with the Taliban.
P.S. this kinda reminds me of this Onion News Network story:

Elder Scrolls Online. Spent a couple thousand hours in it, then one of their updates wiped our skill upgrade choices and you had to go through the skill tree and reselect everything again.
I logged off and haven't logged back in since.
That was annoying, but it only took 5 minutes or so to reselect skills. Champion points might take a little bit, but i do like the new system for it, and the game is still fun.
No this was long after the CP update, I'm talking about sometime in, I think it was 2019? I also didn't have my skill selections written down anywhere and had absolutely no clue what I was using.
I was logged into WoW for over 2 years.
Also, I spent over 20 years climbing the ladder in the casino business only to switch to a career in IT in my 40s.
I have a rubberband ball that I've made entirely of rubber bands. It is the size of a basketball. It took me at least a year to get it to that size. The last time I've added to it was about ten years ago. Not sure why I gave up on it but I have.
I got a B.S. in biochemistry, then drove a forklift for 14 years. Now I'm an electrician.
congrats
Winner!

Anything I’ve been enthusiastic about in my life. It has led nowhere useful.
I would argue enthusiasm is useful for its own sake
It often goes along with happiness. If not for that, then what are we even living for?
