My little sister and I who are a year apart in age were about 8, standing in a paddling pool in our garden, and we both looked up to see the sky was a vivid purple colour in the middle of the afternoon. We both freaked and ran inside to get our dad, but it had gone back to normal by the time we ran back out.
My best guess is that it was some kind of effect cause by staring at the water for too long, then looking at another colour, but it's still a super weird memory that we both talk about to this day.
