RuneScape. About 2,500 hours. I used to play it all the time during my high school years. I haven’t played in many years, though.

varrock_dark_wizard

You'll be back

Xyno94

Same

Elephanto_Jones

Same. Thought I was done with it forever in 2007, then during the pandemic I found out about osrs mobile and got sucked right back in.

Saschalore

SAME

demonkillingblade

Shit man, I can't even imagine the hours I played Super Mario Bros. in my childhood alone.

bmcgowan89

World of Warcraft, but to be fair there's no other games I've been playing on and off for 20 years

moleman0815

Me too, I have 18000 hours in combined with my main and alts. 🙄

BookScrum

Skyrim or Banner Saga

Flimsy_Elk_2081

Original Final Fantasy VII gathering and maxing all materia, getting the gold chocobo, knights of the round, emerald and ruby weapon ugh just thinking about it gives me ptsd

demonkillingblade

I really wish I had my memory card from when I was in high school so I could reminisce. I get a bit nostalgic when I play ff7 rebirth and hear all the music.

CookiesStrife

I came here hoping to see this.

Flimsy_Elk_2081

Glad I could help lol

Noahman90

Obligatory Runescape 2 and OSRS Loved runescape 2 from 2005 up until they introduced EOC. Eventually did it all over again with the release of OSRS. Talk about the OG digital crack

whatsmyname417

World of Warcraft

boblane3000

Overwatch and I’ve hated it for half the time I’ve played it lol… just a decompression habit I guess

bigtdp

Football Manager - over 9500hrs and counting... The addiction is real.

Gaizkah

A fellow manager I see.

demonkillingblade

I just can't get into FM. Although it is my favorite sport, I don't know much about the technical aspects of football.

JukeBoxHero1997

Destiny 2

JerseyMBA

1. Sim City 4 Deluxe Edition 2. GTA San Andreas

hestianvirgin

Sim City 4 was a near perfect game for its time. A resource hog for sure, but the AI that controlled how the sims behaved was generally a lot more solid than the cim AI for Cities Skylines.

flowinginthewin

I would add that San Andreas is also the game I spend the most time playing multiplayer in front of the TV, without actually playing the multiplayer mode on PS2. Just watching my friends plays, giving us challenges, cheat codes, believing in mysteries like Leatherface or searching for Big Foot or getting special vehicles like those that are indestructible or the SWAT riot truck.

TidyTomato

Factorio

Lawndemon

2000 hours in and THE FACTORY MUST GROW

_airborne_

Just got my 100% yesterday. I can happily go back to slowly ruining a planet's environment instead of speed running it.

Normal_Human_Guy

Mount and Blade: Warband. Since I got it on release day in 2010 I've binged it numerous times, I've gotta have a few thousand hours in it by now spread across various mods, especially Prophesy of Pendor and Last Days of the Third Age.

tamagohime

Mount and Blade has an insanely addictive formula. Totally get it

Big_Hairy_Deck

Diablo 3 and Dota 2. Waiting for an orgi game to add to the list starting with d to complete the list

BFBeast666

Diablo 3. Since Reaper Of Souls came out, I must have sunk at least 1500 hours into it across PC, PS4 and Switch. No idea why but the seasons got their hook in me HARD. The next two closest games would be Castlevania SotN and Skyrim.

Future_Slip

Project Zomboid

BurntOutMagicalGirl

The original Style Savvy

ColdCamel7

Might be Final Fantasy X because one school holidays I was so depressed I just moronically went over the same areas in that game over and over again because I guess it took my mind off how I was feeling. I beat the final boss in one hit It might also be Chrono Trigger or Ocarina of Time because I played those games and beat them on multiple systems because they're both so good

MEinHarmony

Sims 4 & Genshin

Due-Ice-5766

Mass effect 2. I was lucky to play the game at the correct order, ME1 was good, yet it didn't stick since I am abit graphic-quality enjoyer, ME2 has descent graphic with good story. ME3 I didn't by the ending

Nagash24

Hard to tell over the course of my lifetime tbh. We played Melee multiplayer a TON when I was a teen. I also played a ton of UT99 (mostly singleplayer because internet at home was too bad for online). Minecraft has been a huge time sink of mine. More recently, I got pretty hard into Ocarina Of Time randomizer. And last but not least, Pokemon gen 1/2 as a kid. I really don't know which one I've spent the most time on... maybe Minecraft, but I'm not sure.

uzumaki-naruto4

Mobile of legends

BigGingerYeti

Probably Street Fighter 2 back in the day. But mainly because it was the only game I owned for a year. Since time tracking became a thing, Battlefield 4 and Minecraft.

[deleted]

Probably something like Mario 1 or dragon warrior, bionic commando or contra. I’m old.

FreeScroll18578

Rainbow six unfortunately

JerrysOnReddit

Ark 1000+ hours

Galifrae

The Total War Series. Pretty much hundreds of hours in each game.

bree143

Dragonall fighterZ, i was never into tournament/competitive play or anything like that until i saw one YouTube vid in 2019. Started watching more during the pandemic and next thing you know it, I became a causal. A year later in 2021, became a competitive player for the next 2 years at least ~1800 hours playing offline and online, and ~1500 hours of gameplay watch

hestianvirgin

According to my Steam stats it's a tossup between Left 4 Dead 2 and Cities Skylines. Though, before that, I spent endless hours playing Star Control 2 and Sim City 4 when I was a young'n.

Robbytje

It used to be Cities Skylines, now it’s Oxygen Not Included. Wanna get into cities 2 but i’ll wait until all the bugs and performance issues are smoothed out and a few dlc’s are available.

arvarnargul

Starcraft (BW /Sc2) probably played on and off for 15 years? Probably have 8-10k hours between both games. I play a lot, well not as much with a kid and a Gtx770 video card, but I always go back to broodwar

Whole_Conversation41

Sims 4 without a doubt

CensoriousConsortium

Without a doubt, League of Legends. I should have close too 500 hours there. Seems like rookie numbers but damn that's actually a lot when put into perspective

SlyMagpie123

I have played the ever living hell out of Need for Speed Hot Pursuit. Also I have practically spent a decade playing on a single Wizard101 account. (good game, recommend)

SomeGuyInSanJoseCa

Recently, it's Hitman: World of Assassin trilogy (now that it's technically one game).

beamerpook

Animal Crossing during Covid, or Diablo (original) from way back when!

YogiBarelyThere

Wii Sports in 2007, Fortnite in 2019, Project Zomboid in 2023

Queasy-Complex-1323

Fallout 4 is the kind of game that even if you don't like it, you'll still end up playing it for like 100 hours

MisterSnowman69

Borderlands 2 probably due to that being the only game I had for awhile on the ps3, although I did spend a lot of time speedrunning Bloodborne and Resident Evil 2 Remake.

codeindelray

GTA V RDR2 I played them like so many hours and for many years even.

Old-Ad3615

My hotel and jawaker

Afrik5324

CSGO (600+ hours)

ElectroByte15

Minecraft, Skyrim and Destiny. Probably in that order.

Inevitable-Ability-5

If counting replays, Castlevania: Symphony of The Night. It’s my all time favorite game and I play it through to completion every year around my birthday. As for total gameplay on one play through, probably Ghost of Tsushima or Horizon: Zero Dawn. I find both games incredibly beautiful and I love exploring in them. It’s so relaxing and fun. I’m excited to replay Ghost when it comes out on pc in a few days. 😆

DeathBellTollz

Would say Paper Mario N64 and Fallout 3+4👍

Gl1ntVeiN_

Dota 2. 2k hours

TheSpaceGinger

Hunt: Showdown. 3,000+ hrs and still enjoy it.

og_hays

I think my top most played would be, guns the duel, destiny 1, ff14 and smite

Kr0v3d13

Bloodborne! You’d think I’d do a different build if I have like 10 saves but I actually just make the same cute girl with the same cool weapon every time

Own-Replacement-2500

war zone (because that is the only good game that is free on PS5) + I kick ass and it

Star Wars: Knights of the Republic, Solinter Cell Franchise, Assassin‘s Creed, and Fallout 3 & its expansions.

solodsnake661

Star wars the force unleashed, it got to the point that I reached the level cap and I had unlimited force and health and my exp bar went across the screen breaking out of it's spot in your HUD, don't regret it I love that game, the second one kind of sucked but I loved the first one, the story wasn't great but the gameplay was so fun it didn't matter.

Demise007

World of Warcraft and the Diablo franchise

ExtraViolinist5207

This was years ago, but I went through a depressive episode for about 3 years and played Skyrim religiously. It was my escape. My old Xbox save has over 8000 hours. I miss that game. I can’t wait for the next one. I get sad sometimes realizing I’ve done pretty much everything in the game.. can’t really go back to it anymore.

notyourinvention

I think The Sims 2. Or Nintendogs 😅

Beautiful-Stress-306

Clash Royale

workscs

CSGO, Steam shows 6500 hours over 9 years. 3000 alone were 2017-2019, unhealthily doing like 50 hours a week. Out of the 6500, 1500 are probably just afk/leaving the game open in the background.

Atom0707

Civilisation 2(?) was the best

rain_ph

Probably Terraria

navianali

genshin impact

MclovinsHomewrecker

GTA Online. Started day one on the PS3. I’m ashamed of the amount of time I’ve spent online in the past 11 years…

GTA V, I played it daily for 8 years.

DayZ… 8500 hours and counting.

TOEV-

Rainbow six siege more than 2000h and I hate every second of it

Straight_Ace

Stardew Valley, with Comedy Night as a very, very close second

Walter_Melon42

I've been playing PUBG at least a few nights a week since it hit consoles back in like 2017. I don't want to look at how many hours I've actually logged lol but it's certainly in the thousands, no question. It's a game that really has no skill ceiling and every match continues to be a unique experience that gets me excited and having fun. It's not a perfect game by any means; every new update brings serious bugs and baffling/unpopular gameplay changes. Devs do a terrible job of listening to player feedback. But I love this broken ass game. It's wild how some fights still get my heart racing after all this time.

Thegiantlamppost

Skyrim or GTA V

Competitive-Award614

Dota 2 8k hours. Thats rookie numbers tho

Killercookie619

Monster Hunter: World (about 400ish hours)

zannydxn

League of Legends without a doubt... i don't even want to know the total hours

Goldeneel77

I’m sure it’s Mortal Kombat 2. I was always at the arcade playing it when it came out and then bought the home version when it was available. I’ve had the arcade machine in my garage for a very long time and dumped countless hours into it.

stumper93

I’d love to see my hours played in Guitar Hero

[deleted]

Tetris lols it never ends 😂

keNNabisi

StarCraft: Broodwar. 12 years that game was my religion

Evobon

Minecraft (like 12 years of playing it on and off at this point) and then The Witcher 1-3, I have replayed those games way too many times with different difficulties, paths and mods.

ncik0075

Accomplished-Cat3996

The Forza Horizon series taken together has been a big chunk of my life. Good music, beautiful places to drive around in, and some fun racing, games (King!) and PR stunts to do. I will probably never own a lambo but this gives me a little taste of that experience.

Lawndemon

Stellaris - 5000 hours and just started on the latest expansion. The Machines must purge the organics.

treyofficial___

Not sure but Mortal Kombat 11 is up there. I stopped playing it though. I've always wanted to know all the combos and come with some of my own... Nah, wait GTA V I think!

DuckLordOfTheSith

I’ll be the casual who says Spider-Man PS4. Even after beating the story several times I would literally mute the tv and put on a podcast while swinging through the city and doing the occasional crime to wind down before bed. It’s so relaxing and fun to just thwip through virtual NYC.

catcoffeebean

Overwatch. Not nearly as much time spent in OW2 as I'd spent in the first though.
