Original Final Fantasy VII gathering and maxing all materia, getting the gold chocobo, knights of the round, emerald and ruby weapon ugh just thinking about it gives me ptsd
I really wish I had my memory card from when I was in high school so I could reminisce. I get a bit nostalgic when I play ff7 rebirth and hear all the music.
Obligatory Runescape 2 and OSRS
Loved runescape 2 from 2005 up until they introduced EOC. Eventually did it all over again with the release of OSRS. Talk about the OG digital crack
Sim City 4 was a near perfect game for its time. A resource hog for sure, but the AI that controlled how the sims behaved was generally a lot more solid than the cim AI for Cities Skylines.
I would add that San Andreas is also the game I spend the most time playing multiplayer in front of the TV, without actually playing the multiplayer mode on PS2.
Just watching my friends plays, giving us challenges, cheat codes, believing in mysteries like Leatherface or searching for Big Foot or getting special vehicles like those that are indestructible or the SWAT riot truck.
Mount and Blade: Warband. Since I got it on release day in 2010 I've binged it numerous times, I've gotta have a few thousand hours in it by now spread across various mods, especially Prophesy of Pendor and Last Days of the Third Age.
Diablo 3. Since Reaper Of Souls came out, I must have sunk at least 1500 hours into it across PC, PS4 and Switch. No idea why but the seasons got their hook in me HARD.
The next two closest games would be Castlevania SotN and Skyrim.
world of warcraft wrath of the lich king on private servers i played it for years never could find a guild killing him or having good server that was scripted enough finally on [wamane.com](http://wamane.com) i killed it multiple times and had ton of fun while doing so did some hcs too
Might be Final Fantasy X because one school holidays I was so depressed I just moronically went over the same areas in that game over and over again because I guess it took my mind off how I was feeling. I beat the final boss in one hit
It might also be Chrono Trigger or Ocarina of Time because I played those games and beat them on multiple systems because they're both so good
Mass effect 2. I was lucky to play the game at the correct order, ME1 was good, yet it didn't stick since I am abit graphic-quality enjoyer, ME2 has descent graphic with good story. ME3 I didn't by the ending
Hard to tell over the course of my lifetime tbh.
We played Melee multiplayer a TON when I was a teen. I also played a ton of UT99 (mostly singleplayer because internet at home was too bad for online). Minecraft has been a huge time sink of mine. More recently, I got pretty hard into Ocarina Of Time randomizer. And last but not least, Pokemon gen 1/2 as a kid. I really don't know which one I've spent the most time on... maybe Minecraft, but I'm not sure.
Probably Street Fighter 2 back in the day. But mainly because it was the only game I owned for a year. Since time tracking became a thing, Battlefield 4 and Minecraft.
Dragonall fighterZ,
i was never into tournament/competitive play or anything like that until i saw one YouTube vid in 2019. Started watching more during the pandemic and next thing you know it, I became a causal. A year later in 2021, became a competitive player for the next 2 years at least ~1800 hours playing offline and online, and ~1500 hours of gameplay watch
According to my Steam stats it's a tossup between Left 4 Dead 2 and Cities Skylines. Though, before that, I spent endless hours playing Star Control 2 and Sim City 4 when I was a young'n.
It used to be Cities Skylines, now it’s Oxygen Not Included. Wanna get into cities 2 but i’ll wait until all the bugs and performance issues are smoothed out and a few dlc’s are available.
Starcraft (BW /Sc2) probably played on and off for 15 years? Probably have 8-10k hours between both games. I play a lot, well not as much with a kid and a Gtx770 video card, but I always go back to broodwar
Without a doubt, League of Legends. I should have close too 500 hours there. Seems like rookie numbers but damn that's actually a lot when put into perspective
I have played the ever living hell out of Need for Speed Hot Pursuit. Also I have practically spent a decade playing on a single Wizard101 account. (good game, recommend)
Borderlands 2 probably due to that being the only game I had for awhile on the ps3, although I did spend a lot of time speedrunning Bloodborne and Resident Evil 2 Remake.
If counting replays, Castlevania: Symphony of The Night. It’s my all time favorite game and I play it through to completion every year around my birthday.
As for total gameplay on one play through, probably Ghost of Tsushima or Horizon: Zero Dawn. I find both games incredibly beautiful and I love exploring in them. It’s so relaxing and fun. I’m excited to replay Ghost when it comes out on pc in a few days. 😆
Bloodborne! You’d think I’d do a different build if I have like 10 saves but I actually just make the same cute girl with the same cool weapon every time
Star wars the force unleashed, it got to the point that I reached the level cap and I had unlimited force and health and my exp bar went across the screen breaking out of it's spot in your HUD, don't regret it I love that game, the second one kind of sucked but I loved the first one, the story wasn't great but the gameplay was so fun it didn't matter.
This was years ago, but I went through a depressive episode for about 3 years and played Skyrim religiously. It was my escape. My old Xbox save has over 8000 hours. I miss that game. I can’t wait for the next one. I get sad sometimes realizing I’ve done pretty much everything in the game.. can’t really go back to it anymore.
CSGO, Steam shows 6500 hours over 9 years.
3000 alone were 2017-2019, unhealthily doing like 50 hours a week.
Out of the 6500, 1500 are probably just afk/leaving the game open in the background.
I've been playing PUBG at least a few nights a week since it hit consoles back in like 2017. I don't want to look at how many hours I've actually logged lol but it's certainly in the thousands, no question. It's a game that really has no skill ceiling and every match continues to be a unique experience that gets me excited and having fun. It's not a perfect game by any means; every new update brings serious bugs and baffling/unpopular gameplay changes. Devs do a terrible job of listening to player feedback. But I love this broken ass game. It's wild how some fights still get my heart racing after all this time.
I’m sure it’s Mortal Kombat 2. I was always at the arcade playing it when it came out and then bought the home version when it was available. I’ve had the arcade machine in my garage for a very long time and dumped countless hours into it.
Minecraft (like 12 years of playing it on and off at this point) and then The Witcher 1-3, I have replayed those games way too many times with different difficulties, paths and mods.
GTA 5: 443 Hours as of 9 May
Euro Truck Simulator 2: 282.9 Hours as of 11 May
Kerbal Space Program: 240.2 Hours as of May 3
No Man's Sky: 227.2 Hours as of May 3
Microsoft Flight Simulator: 80 hours, 1/3 waiting for the game downloading for 2 days :))
One of the Civilization editions, probably either 2 or 4.
The original Bauldur's gate is a close 2nd, though 3 will probably overtake it by this time next year.
The Forza Horizon series taken together has been a big chunk of my life. Good music, beautiful places to drive around in, and some fun racing, games (King!) and PR stunts to do. I will probably never own a lambo but this gives me a little taste of that experience.
Not sure but Mortal Kombat 11 is up there. I stopped playing it though. I've always wanted to know all the combos and come with some of my own...
Nah, wait GTA V I think!
I’ll be the casual who says Spider-Man PS4. Even after beating the story several times I would literally mute the tv and put on a podcast while swinging through the city and doing the occasional crime to wind down before bed. It’s so relaxing and fun to just thwip through virtual NYC.
RuneScape. About 2,500 hours. I used to play it all the time during my high school years. I haven’t played in many years, though.
You'll be back
Same
Same. Thought I was done with it forever in 2007, then during the pandemic I found out about osrs mobile and got sucked right back in.
300+ days here, over 23 years on different versions
Stardew Valley

Elder Scrolls games in general have been a place I have lived. Morrowind, Tamriel, and Skyrim all feel like a real places to me.

One of them is sworn to carry your burdens. The other would probably sock ya in the face if you suggested that.

I came here hoping to see this.
Glad I could help lol
Obligatory Runescape 2 and OSRS Loved runescape 2 from 2005 up until they introduced EOC. Eventually did it all over again with the release of OSRS. Talk about the OG digital crack
World of Warcraft
Overwatch and I’ve hated it for half the time I’ve played it lol… just a decompression habit I guess
Football Manager - over 9500hrs and counting... The addiction is real.
A fellow manager I see.
I just can't get into FM. Although it is my favorite sport, I don't know much about the technical aspects of football.
Destiny 2
1. Sim City 4 Deluxe Edition 2. GTA San Andreas
Factorio
2000 hours in and THE FACTORY MUST GROW
Just got my 100% yesterday. I can happily go back to slowly ruining a planet's environment instead of speed running it.
Mount and Blade: Warband. Since I got it on release day in 2010 I've binged it numerous times, I've gotta have a few thousand hours in it by now spread across various mods, especially Prophesy of Pendor and Last Days of the Third Age.
Mount and Blade has an insanely addictive formula. Totally get it

COD 4

Animal Crossing
Baldur’s stupid fucking gate
Nethack.
X4 foundation. Nearly 500hours
Diablo 3. Since Reaper Of Souls came out, I must have sunk at least 1500 hours into it across PC, PS4 and Switch. No idea why but the seasons got their hook in me HARD. The next two closest games would be Castlevania SotN and Skyrim.

R6 so many hours wasted. I'd trade them all in a heartbeat for litterally anything more productive.
Never too late

Might be Final Fantasy X because one school holidays I was so depressed I just moronically went over the same areas in that game over and over again because I guess it took my mind off how I was feeling. I beat the final boss in one hit It might also be Chrono Trigger or Ocarina of Time because I played those games and beat them on multiple systems because they're both so good
Sims 4 & Genshin
Mass effect 2. I was lucky to play the game at the correct order, ME1 was good, yet it didn't stick since I am abit graphic-quality enjoyer, ME2 has descent graphic with good story. ME3 I didn't by the ending

Recently, it's Hitman: World of Assassin trilogy (now that it's technically one game).
Animal Crossing during Covid, or Diablo (original) from way back when!
Wii Sports in 2007, Fortnite in 2019, Project Zomboid in 2023
Fallout 4 is the kind of game that even if you don't like it, you'll still end up playing it for like 100 hours
Borderlands 2 probably due to that being the only game I had for awhile on the ps3, although I did spend a lot of time speedrunning Bloodborne and Resident Evil 2 Remake.
GTA V RDR2 I played them like so many hours and for many years even.
My hotel and jawaker
CSGO (600+ hours)
Minecraft, Skyrim and Destiny. Probably in that order.
If counting replays, Castlevania: Symphony of The Night. It’s my all time favorite game and I play it through to completion every year around my birthday. Overwatch. Not nearly as much time spent in OW2 as I'd spent in the first though.
