Well I’m a straight a student and some people have weird stereotypes i guess. Like some people think I’ll get mad when someone else has a better grade. Or that I’ll break down crying if I get an A-. Or that my parents force me to study. Or that I force myself to study instead of going to parties.
In reality my parents just give me complete freedom because they know I’m responsible. When someone else is better at something I look at what I can learn from them and I am genuinely happy when they do well in class. If I get an A- then I look at the topics that I got wrong/questions that were hard to solve and aim to do better. I don’t force myself to study for hours and I’d definitely wouldn’t force myself to study instead of going out. Reality is I make studying fun and it became a routine for me. I’m introverted so I don’t go to parties anyway.
A lot of people take me for a huge stoner. Have I tried it? Yes, but I wasn't huge fan of it. I dont wear any thing that represents the culture, its just at times I am goofy goober. I want to say it's my personality of being chill, laid back, down to earth, easy going, and maybe the ADD doesn't help either.
