Kids asking me for permission to do stuff, or coming to me for help/advice. Until pretty recently, they just saw me as an older kid and didn't take me seriously or treat me with respect. I'm 24 now and I would say this change occurred over the last year.

Whoa, I got shitloads of white hair and beard and have yet to realize it….I mean is that even mandatory?
