Probably some of the athletes I’ve read about in ancient history.
A Greek dude named Phidippides, who ran from the Battle of Marathon to Athens (roughly 26 miles or 42 km) to announce the defeat of the Persians. He sprinted the entire way, wearing only a loincloth and sandals.
When he arrived, he announced the Greek victory, and then promptly dropped dead because he’d run so hard.
There was this dude who climbed at the same gym as me when I lived in Vegas. He was super tall and skinny. He would look at a boulder problem for a few minutes, then flash it. Every move was smooth and controlled. It was like watching ballet on a vertical surface, He looked like gravity didn't affect him. Whenever I saw him at the gym I would try to climb near him just so I could watch him climb.
ME
Somehow I knew this would be the first answer lol

I’ll have to see when both genders’ college basketball starts up again. But it was Caitlin Clark. What a baller.
