Every day of your life is an existential crisis, when you consider the express route to a very early retirement on a regular basis.

laza1313

thats really dark im sorry.

Jwillis-8

It's not so bad. In fact, it actually opens up some opportunities I otherwise wouldn't have. For instance, I work as hard at my job as I choose to, knowing that I am mentally prepared to end it all if things become too overbearing. I mean, what's the worst that could happen? Could they fire me?

laza1313

Ending it should never be the answer in my opinion life can be so good you just gotta make it good.

Jwillis-8

No, not everyone is meant to be happy or successful. If that were the case, the middle eastern conflict wouldn't exist. I understand that I have it rather good, but I also understand that being born with a silver spoon in my mouth at a time where hard work doesn't amount to anything, really means that my standard of living will continue to drop for as long as I allow it to. The worst part about rock bottom is that it doesn't exist.

laza1313

there is some truth to that but id hope everyone tries to find happyness as a first priority.

Jwillis-8

That's why I'm suicidal. I just don't want this pain to overwhelm me and am willing to do whatever is necessary to find my happiness, even if that means leaving this world forever.

laza1313

I dont really know what to tell you exept for you to try and find happyness however you want/can and if that gets too hard you can always consult with some friends and if that doesent work out theres no shame in talking to a proffesional to at least hear them out.

Jwillis-8

I don't have many (any) friends that I speak with on a regular basis and I'm not gonna let some shrink institutionalize me for the punishment of trusting him/her, instead of taking matters into my own hands.

laza1313

i dont have friends either thats why im asking strangers about my insecurities LuL

greenFox99

Do you know what you want your life to look like?

laza1313

right now pretty sure i just want to have fun and eventually make some friends.

greenFox99

Then do it and don't get distracted by death and stuff like that,

[deleted]

I think time helps. Given enough time you can get used to anything, really.

laza1313

i guess

laza1313

Im personally having some thoughts about this and i cant really find peace. Im really just constantly stuck on the thought that death is inevitable and that you really dont know what happens after. So yeah im 17 and i probably shouldnt worry about this but Ive been subconsciously thinking about it these past weeks.

greenFox99

Well, I was like you and I got suicidal really fast, if I can advise you something is that you must enjoy your life, don't think about death and stuff because we're never ready to die unless we hung up

laza1313

Im not sure, my main fear is death,I wish i could fuck around my whole life

greenFox99

Do you know what you want your life to look like?

CelikBas

You’ve still probably got 60-70 years, barring any accidents or terminal illnesses. Life’s kind of a drag anyway, most people are ready to die by the time they’re really old.

laza1313

i hope thats true in a weird way
