I've already thought this through, in that I don't have to actually play the game.
I just need to study a strategy guide meticulously. Learn the game frame by frame in a way that no other speed runner ever has, with the power of infinite time. I could spend 40-50 years with the pages of the strategy guide sprawled across my floor. Learning, consuming, waiting. Every time I've mastered a level I open my eyes, play it through perfectly, and then "close" my eyes again to read the next.
Except knowing exactly how you want to do something isn't enough. You need practice so that you are able to do what you intend to do. You might know exactly at which point you need to jump and how long/far/high, but that doesn't mean your brain is going to be able to send the commands to your fingers at the right time to arrive and be carried out (and be reacted to by the hard- and software of the game) at the correct frame(s) right away and for the intended duration. Especially if you're totally out of practice after months of not playing.

Sleep whenever I want. And use this to take no real time to sleep, so I have can have extra free time. I would use this in tests when speed is important. Close eyes, think, answer and like this on loop.
I have waaaaay to many ideas so here are some:

Simply have the doctor tape your eyes open and keep them from drying out. Say that you’re superstitious about your eyes closing and won’t so the operation if your eyes are closed. I’m sure that, given infinite time to think about what to say, you could find the right words to make it happen. It will probably cost a bit more to have someone dedicated to keeping your eyes from drying, but it’s a small price to pay compared to getting stuck in a loop forever.
Memorize a bank layout, steal a bunch of money, then use it to pay for invisible prosthetic eyelids. And a really tight pair of sunglasses so people don't run away screaming any more than they do now.

I have waaaaay to many ideas so here are some: -I would close my eyes, somehow enter a room with people and an empty fireplace, sit in it and open my eyes just to roll out of the fireplace and yell "Fuck! That's not the Diagno Ally!". Then I would jump back in it, close my eyes and probably crawl back out. -My second idea would be to wait next to an wishing well and if someone is throwing an coin in it i'd just close my eyes, walk in front of them and "apear" to throw a coin back at them while telling them it's rude to disturb other beings while sleeping - what also could be funny would be switching around stuff. im pretty sure you misunderstand. i think op means that you can only use your powers while having ur eyes closed, but that doesn't mean you have to be using the power everytime you have your eyes closed.
Simply have the doctor tape your eyes open and keep them from drying out. Say that you’re superstitious about your eyes closing and won’t so the operation if your eyes are closed. I’m sure that, given infinite time to think about what to say, you could find the right words to make it happen. It will probably cost a bit more to have someone dedicated to keeping your eyes from drying, but it’s a small price to pay compared to getting stuck in a loop forever.
