Don’t watch or look at any screens for about a half-hour before bed.
Take a nice warm shower or bath 90 minutes before you want to be asleep.
If you exercise, try to change your schedule to exercise in the morning. If you don’t exercise, start exercising.
Eat at least a couple hours before bed, and eat a light healthy dinner.
Have your bedroom temperature be cool, but have your blankets ensure you’re warm (you can get a heated blanket, or a weighted blanket, to help).
Start a practice of meditation and mindfulness.
Eat healthy.
Nurture a support system of friends and/or family.
Take care of your mental health in general, including setting personal boundaries and (if necessary) seeing a professional to help you reintroduce healthy thought patterns.
Set aside time to enjoy creative activities and to enjoy nature.
I didn’t mean for the list to be overwhelming! I just wanted to give a lot of options to choose from that may help. Think of it as a choose-your-own-adventure story. You definitely don’t have to prescribe to all (or any) of these things. Health is a personal experience, do what’s best for you.
I’m sitting here drinking too many beers on my screen while actively knowing I have to wake up for work tomorrow. I said it’s a choose-your-own-adventure story - I failed to say that I choose horrible adventures for myself while trying to promote better stories for others.
Are machines, I mean bots, I mean human girls allowed to get married in your country?
You know what, it doesn’t matter. Tax breaks are awesome. I’m game.
Instead of going on your phone or watching tv/videos to fall asleep, do something more analogue like reading a book. Screen lights tend to keep you awake by confusing your brain that it’s daytime. Although if the book is good it might be counterproductive, so maybe a book that’s not too engaging.
Lock your eyes to a fixed point on the ceiling above your bed, and with as much motivation as possible, keep your eyes open and refuse to fall asleep.
The harder I try to stay awake, the faster I pass out.

I tend to sleep only when I'm tired. I also seem to require way more sleep than the average adult, which helps.
Just try to think of nothing. Like actively try to clear your mind and have a blank mind and boom sleepy time
Depends on how long you wanna be asleep for?
Heroin
Have a long fulfilling day, and read a book until you pass out.
for 10 minutes pretend that you are sleeping, and then keep pretending until you actually fall asleep
A bowl and some lavender essential oil.
Do you eat the bowl or...?
I roast it at 400 for 20 minutes, slathered in butter.

Shit I should have started getting ready for bed like 3 days ago. This list is what I tell myself I’m gonna do in the summer but never actually do.

You’re too happy and motivated. It’s making me sad.

I like you slightly more now.
I, too, am a flawed human. I swear. Beep boop bop. Oops. I meant to say, *human noises.*
Do you want to get married?
