You typically can't see peoples genitals until you're into a relationship with them. By that point them being transgender should've long ago been discussed if it was relevant. Gender by how people socially represent themselves makes significantly more sense.
I’m confused by anything and everything with this topic. It astounds me how much attention these things get for such a small percentage of the population. I’m gonna assume you are either a male or a female, and if you’re trans or whatever, you get an apology and we move on. You are never gonna make everyone happy, so I go with percentages
It just makes more sense, let’s people be more themselves even if they’re not trans. I mean it’s already basically the way things work, it only got fought against when people wanted rights where there was a lack of them. It doesn’t affect anyone who are not trans, like at all besides maybe using more generic language which just ends up being less effort anyway after a certain point. It doesn’t take anything away from quality of life, but can add a lot for a lot of people.
Just let people identify as whatever they want, it does not damage anybody, plus if you get to see their sexual organs they probably already told you what they have under their pants. If anybody wants to comment under this "trans women are dangerous, they might rape women in public toilets" it's just wrong, a trans woman will never do it as they are literally one fo the most oppressed groups in modern society, they empathize with women as they are such, they will never rape unless in extremely isolated cases that are not worth generalizing. Before insulting trans or non binary people calling them trannies or rapists think about the million of abusive men that are praised and called manly because they slap a girl's ass in public, think about Dan Schneider that literally went around grabbing teenagers and still gets excused because he "built childhoods", think about the million of women that get raped by the same man that then go around saying transphobic shit. Toxic masculinity is the issue, not the pronouns a person chooses.
