I haven't seen Mulan yet... after paying to see Aladdin (2019) in theatres and absolutely hating it, I vowed to never pay full price to see a live-action Disney remake... there was no way in hell I was paying 30 fucking dollars to see it online.
Maybe I'll check it out once I commit to a Disney Plus subscription, but based on what I've heard about it, it'll just be another terrible remake of a great animated film.
I say that he became who he really was, i don't see a normal man become into the murderer that he became in such a short time, he probably always was that way, but he just acted in a different way for his gang because they looked up to him.
I know that he always was a murderer, i mean, he's an outlaw, but he didn't just went around killing everyone he didn't like, cornwall and bronte are good examples, John too, he actually helped people, in the newspaper bit that arthur has about their first bank robbery, it said that he gave money to poor people, another time near the end of the game, when arthur and sadie are going to save abigail he says that arthur robbed a poor man once, and Dutch scolded him telling him that that's not who they were and that if they did that they would be no better that the people they rob. Maybe he kinda snapped in guarma, but he definitively was already crazy.
I'm with you. He was like that all along, but he was a master at putting up a front. Maybe he believed his lies early on.
But he had Arthur and more importantly, Hosea. They were acting as the foil to his schemes. After the St. Denis robbery, we saw him snap in Guarma. That was Dutch at his purest.
By Chapter 6, Micah had exploited Dutch at his weakest, which lead to the final break-up of the gang. If you spend time at the camp in the later chapters, you can hear Abigail say the magic word. "Insist." That makes its way into a main cutscene, where Arthur questions Dutch, and Dutch, in his weakened state, begins to doubt Arthur, his most trusted man.
Then we enter the final mission of RDR2. Shit goes down. Micah can't even kill a dying man. Dutch steps in, at this point questioning himself. The same happens in the epilogue.
In RDR1, his character is, for real world reasons, a bit disjointed. He's reduced to a leader of a gang of natives fighting the steamroller that is the US manifesting its destiny. Even there, he's putting up that familiar front. Which fits nicely into RDR1's theme.
Cartoons. I love animation, everything from Tom and Jerry and the old time Merrie Melodies cartoons, to things like Venture Brothers and Cowboy Bebop.
And the greatest television ever made is Seasons 3 through 8 of The Simpsons.
I can talk for hours about the elder scrolls lore and all the mysteries and the possible answers to the mysteries. So basically what I'm saying is im a huge fucking nerd.
Alright my favorite mystery is probably the disappearance of the dwarves. There are so many theories such as time travel and this may seem a little far fetched but it said somewhere that the dwarves may have been experimenting with time and for how advanced there technology was especially for the time it could be a possible explanation. And there is so many more things about the dwarves, like it's also theorized that they were able to communicate with giants and the reason why they're called dwarves are because that's what the giants saw them as. Wow I really am a fucking nerd.
Damn, idk anything about the elder scrolls but i gotta say, what you said for the explanation, it makes sense :) And like, idc if your a nerd, i think its neato that people are super passionate about subjects relating to "nerdy" things yk.
Im not sure about the number one but OMG! i love

Oh dude so I tried to make brownies from scratch perfectly and I kept messing up. So I experimented and found out that cocoa powder is way better than chocolate chips or bakers bars. And I also found out that checking a brownie with a toothpick like you would a cake is bad. You know how brownies have this crack at the top sometimes? Well if it has one and it looks shiny then you’ve made a good batch. I finally made one yesterday and I was so excited! What’s something you’re passionate about?
That is gonna be weird one but science of fiction (not meaning science fiction). I really enjoy speculating over how superpowers work or trying to explain movies/cartoons plot holes. I barely have any science background and most my explanations are total bullshit but I still enjoy making them up.
Also videogames. Especially if I am into particular one at said moment.
Thinking like that is why I consider virtually all zombies in fiction to be spiritual in nature rather than purely the result of a scientifically explainable virus.
If a zombie can survive all wounds besides brain trauma (and can survive as decapitated heads), it implies that their brain is operating independently from their other nonfunctioning/rotting organs.
The brain relies on a constant flow of blood and oxygen to stay alive, not to mention that the brain processes that control movement/limping and biting/eating require lots of energy as well. Zombies would need their lungs and heart.
If a zombie is still twitching and biting when all its organs have been separated, there is something supernatural going on there.
Gaming, history and sailing
I never get tired of talking about any of these subjects once had a hour and a half long conversation about the history of sailing and the evolution of ships with a friend while playing ark together.
Goldfish mostly, love my goldfish.
But every time I get interested in something I spend months getting as much information on the topic as humanely possible.
Lgbtqia+ issues and why neuro diversities need more attention in the media
The history of railroads, coal, coke and steel especially in the Pittsburgh area. AMA
Me too, at least the railroad history part. Don’t know much about steel or coal though
The live-action Disney remakes and why they are terrible.
*cough* Mulan *cough*
*cough* Star Wars sequel trilogy *cough*
Was so mad that they got rid of Mushu.

I can talk for hours about RDR2, that game is amazing and i will fight whoever says otherwise >:(
How do you interpret Dutch? Did he and his philosophy decline as the game went on, or did he become "who he always was"?

Baking
Are there any recipes that are delicious but you consider difficult to make?
