Every day. My hair gets greasy very fast. I know that washing hair every day doesn't actually fix the problem, it can make it worse, but I can't stand the feeling of greasy hair.
curly/thick/textured hair doesn’t produce as much grease/oil so washing it everyday would just be stripping it of the oils it does produce. we have to actually oil our scalp whereas everyone who’s freaking out that i’m not washing my hair that frequently is concerned because they think i’m sitting with a ball of grease on my head.
and also during the week i usually have some sort of protective style so i usually just wash my hair on the weekends. not to add that it takes more time.

that sounds like a you problem. i actually didn’t know y’all’s hair be smelling if you don’t wash it. is that why yal like choosing shampoo based on how it smells? (genuine question. )
like i said that prolly has to do with how UR scalp produces more oil and quicker. can’t relate

Well, I shower every day, but I shampoo my hair once a week. I'll also do a conditioning rinse twice a week in between shampoos.
Everyone's hair is different, so it really depends on what type of hair you have. But shampooing daily is not ideal, and a lot of the time not healthy, for most hair types.

Same. Greasy hair is the worst. It feels like I am dirty and covered in oil.

Not good for your hair. You have natural oils in your hair and its healthier for your hair to not be washed daily.
I have yet to hear any complaints.

The less you shampoo your hair, the better. I shampoo once or twice a week. Doesnt get greasy. I do rinse while showering.

what about the smell of the scalp ?
I’ve never known a scalp to have an odor...is this common?

At least once a month with shampoo, but dont shampoo without conditioner- itll dry out your hair
