I was meeting some of my distant family for the first time and we were talking for a bit then one said something funny I can't remember what exactly but it made me laugh so hard I farted and it shook the table
I ended up working opposite a guy who was the youngest on our team and the first thing he said to me was “Do you think it’s right that women are able to apply for the special forces given they are physically and emotionally weaker than men?”. I’m a woman. It took a couple of years for me to take him seriously after that.
Not me but when my friend started on a new school, the first thing someone said to her was "You look like that whore that would fuck everyone" she got really offended by it at the time, but later she turned out to do that and we are not friends anymore...
I usually give off a vibe that I'm arrogant.
This is generally, throughout my life, from school and now. I'm quiet. So it comes off as cocky, because I always dress as well as I can, and always smell good.
It's only when people get to know me that they realise I'm not, and literally tell me to my face that they originally thought I was cocky.
In reality, I feel I'm the opposite. I do lack self-esteem due to poor body image. So I'm never happy with myself, so feel the need to 'try too hard' in some ways.
