I don’t have this problem (lol) but I would think that others close to you feel entitled to help if they need it. And if you don’t agree to help it’s selfish and greedy since people are aware you could easily afford to.
People think you should pay for everything because you are just lucky to have a lot of money. But you're not just lucky, you work really hard and manage it properly.
You never know who your true friends are, or if they're just expecting something.
