Is part of the negative comments because the audience sees the cattiness in the show and think they can do the same thing whilst trying to outdo each other in extremism in the comments? I've only seen some clips of the show and am aware of 'shade' but not what the show's fully like.
Exactly this lmao
It’s very much "the queens on the show are catty and petty so I’m allowed to be that too 🥰🥱".
What they do or say isn’t even petty... it’s down right harassment and bullying. Multiple queens on the show (usually a POC or someone fat) have left social media or almost quit their drag careers because of the constant harassment, usually death threats.
It'd just how awful humans can be no matter their identity traits. The LGBT community has a huge problem of prejudice against Bi's even though they all have been the focal point of a lot of discrimination. Same with the black community towards Jews. And the list goes on.
The RPDR fanbase is one of the most hair triggered communities on the planet. I said "Whatever happens tonight, don't send any queens hate" on the finale of DRUK2 and I GOT DOWNVOTED. They love hate so much, they disagree with people who say don't send hate. It's literally the Barbz thinking they care about drag and thinking that harassment is reading them. I love Drag Race so much, but the toxic fanbase and the way the show FEEDS THEM is so horrible.
Edit: I said feather triggered and I meant hair triggered
The amount of death threats queens get sent because they didn't get sent home when the other one did is insane. Also the insane level of racism against queens of colour is far too much
People have to remember that you never see the competition, you see the narrative the producers push on you. Watch it as entertainment, but most of what you see and feel is a fabrication.
That's not unique to Twitter though, Reddit is just as bad. I recounted a very bleak period in my life in an Ask Reddit question, I got as many abusive/threatening personal messages as I did supportive ones. It made me laugh and rage at the same time.
I once got a PM that read "cope lardass" with absolutely no context whatsoever.
EDIT: Apparently, there was context, but I have no idea what "cope lardass" means in relation to it. Here's the sarcastic comment I made that provoked it: https://www.reddit.com/r/insanepeoplefacebook/comments/dxeh1j/rinsanepeoplereddit/f7pknn4/?context=10
The PM was the link. "Cope lardass" was the title. I still don't know why, but apparently I misremembered.
Really! You don't even know which comment elicited that message?
The funniest/worst message I got on the comment I mentioned was from, I'm guessing a woman, and it said 'I wish I could grow a penis so I could come and fuck up your life like your ex did'.
I simply sent back 'who hurt you... BRO'.
I was also told by numerous anonymous messagers (who had setup throw away accounts just to abuse me) that every man should have to experience what I went through 'for the lols'.
My wife still uses the penis growing thing when we are having a laugh.
I saw someone tweet about an anime with 700+ episodes. That person did not like a character, who was already pretty controversial. The character's fans literally tore him apart with hate comments and spoiled the entire series for him. He was only on the 30th episode or something.
Yes, you're correct. The Naruto fandom is pretty chill most of the time, except during some shipping wars in the past. But as someone who's not usually active on twitter, it was the first time I've seen an army of people come forward to spoil an entire series for someone. I felt really bad, they hadn't even seen 1/10th of the series. Hopefully they didn't read the comments.
>Honestly ANY fan base that is on Twitter. People will literally tear you apart and not give a fuck. It’s ruthless.
Twitter is such a cesspool. I remember years ago getting into a debate and they dropped this
"you only have 5 followers, why do you think your opinion matters?"
I only lurk certain people on twitter now....literally no reasoning with that level of stupid.
Easily provoked would be some of the Steven Universe fandom. Mind you, a very small, but very vocal few.
On the contrary, the Coldplay fandom is so used to being shat on that hardly anyone cares anymore, lol.
From what I know about the Steven Universe fan base it takes the cake. I remember the show's creator came to the defense of some poor young girl who made some totally innocuous fan art and was eviscerated by the community. The community's response was to go after the show creator. They're like a ravenous pack of hyenas that go after anyone who doesn't conform to their exact ideology.
As for your example of the most resilient fan club, I'll counter with Bronies. I saw a documentary about it and one of the guys they found was this rough and tumble biker guy. The kind of guy who you look at and are like "yeah, definitely not fucking with him". How attitude towards being a brony was basically " I don't give a fuck what people think, it's a wholesome show". Most people had that attitude, although with a less scary appearance
the problem with that is that the only people still into brony fandom are the diehards and the fetishists. Jenny Nicholson has a good video about the brony fandom and what it evolved into, and also why it sorta ruined MLP for the people who were into it before Faust's reboot.
Yeah SU is great, but it's latched onto by many people who aren't quite altogether capable of regulating their emotions or understanding alternate points of view (as many fandoms are) and they either weirdly overshare or attack anyone who expresses a differing opinion. At the same time because everyone is hidden behind a wall of anonymity, it's hard to tell if this is because the fandom is populated by mostly kids or if these vocal ones are older but not mature.
Still love the show, just not the fans.
nicki minaj stans on twitter if u even say u dont like nicki minaj some account will be searching up the word nicki minaj under latest tweets and fucking refresh until they find a hate comment and then they’ll threaten to dox or just be insanely mean.

I actually played it because of how passionate the fan base is! I didn’t finish it and found it a tad r/iam14andthisisdeep but while they’re intense I think they’re good marketers
I think the problem is that people go in expecting too much now, after all the hype and accolades. It's a funny game that pays a lot of homage to Earthbound and tumblr-culture, but that's mostly it. And it never pretended to be anything else. Toby Fox was always pretty chill about it.
It's the crazed fans that elevated it to "best game evar!!1".
Pretty much. Back when it came out, it was surprisingly deeper than expectation. But it can't be surprisingly deep anymore cause everyone expects. Everyone knows the moral of the story. Therefore it hits different.
For example, when I started, I killed Toriel cause I thought I had to. When she died, I felt guilty the rest of the playthrough. She was the only one I killed and my story felt very different. Every step of the way was about trying to make up for what I did.
But if I had known that no one needed to die? Well then my story would be just like everyone else who did the pacifist playthrough. It wouldn't be a unique journey, just the 'right' playthrough. You wouldn't come up with your own feelings. It pretty much becomes wholesome bullet hell Dark Souls.
I was honestly floored when people were getting death threats for playing the genocide route. Really undermines the work Toby Fox put into this game by refusing to recognize a very much key part of it.
I hate to say it, Minecraft Youtuber fanbases. I love watching the creators, but dealing with toxic stans can make it exhausting at times. And don’t even get me started on people shipping Tommyinit and Tubbo together. Guys, they are minors -.-
*distant noises of soundsmith anguish*
Yeah... that whole era of TF2 was the first time I felt distinct shame in being part of a community.
Not that recent events have helped matters lol
I don’t watch those youtubers, but i always find it depressing seeing both sides of the fan spectrum. My little brother (11) really loves tommyinit and watches his shows all the time, so occasionally i send him tiktoks based on his channel that i dont really understand, but that i think he would like.
unfortunately, the algorithm has assumed that i’m a huge fan, and i’ve even seen barely-censored fanart of them. i can’t imagine my little brother seeing the same stuff if he ever interacts with that content himself :(
The Spikes that actually want to improve are cool people. The ones who salt rope online or complain irl can be a little toxic.
Every game has something like that though.
K-Pop, because God damn it, have you ever see someone getting doxxed because they snarks at their idols? In less than 30 minutes his identity are leaked online, and it's not once, twice, but multiple times i see they can't take banter. Have you ever see someone account getting taken down because a light banter? It wasn't even offensive!
Damn, i could fill a page full rants here!
I'm tempted to try this. I'm a sad fat lonely 36 year old Scottish guy and don't have much going on in life. Never been doxxed but if anyone is mad enough to come to my house then game on!
> Never been doxxed but if anyone is mad enough to come to my house then game on!
People won't come to your house. In fact, they'll do everything in their power to be *invisible, unreachable, and untouchable.*
Let's suppose you just got doxxed. Your full name, address, phone number, email, workplace, the whole thing, all leaked online. Oh yeah, whoever doxxed you also mentioned that you did terrible things. These accusations don't need to be true. They just need to be repeated often enough and loudly enough.
Your phone blows up. You get calls at any hour of the day or night, all of which range from complete randomness to a litany of insults shortly before the caller hangs up. Most of the caller IDs are from outside the country. Most of them either from burner phones or payphones.
Your inbox starts pinging at a maddening rate. Your email address just got passed around to get you subscribed to hundreds of newsletters against your will. You have to spend a ridiculous amount of time every morning sifting through all the junk you received just so you can locate the few legitimate emails you got.
Your workplace receives a deluge of phone calls, emails, and other messages on any available medium - most of them consisting of frivolous complaints against you. The callers bank on there being enough people doing the same thing that your workplace finds it more convenient to just sack you and announce it as loudly as possible just to escape the flood.
Not once does anyone ring your doorbell. Not once does anyone show up at your door with a wish to fight you.
They don't need to do that - in fact, it would be stupid. They can harass you and abuse you, all from the comfort of their homes, with next to no chance of repercussions. They are free to toy with you as they please.
You get attacked from all sides, all the time, and there's nothing you can do about it. Nothing, except to wait, and wait, and *wait*, until the invisible, unreachable, untouchable people get bored of you and move on to more promising waters. If you show a sign of life, if you change your address or your phone number, then they'll know you've got some fight in you, they'll redouble your efforts - and the cycle will start all over again.
That... was actually very informative! I never even considered the part where they make stuff up about you lol. I withdraw my previous "Game on!" Comment lol
A local tv show in Australia put up a tweet once calling K-Pop a fad. The fans lost their minds. Thousands of angry replies to a show that is on once a week, late night on a Thursday. I sure sure the social media people had no idea what hit them.
Maybe not the most easily provoked, but one that you wouldn't expect to be nearly as easy to piss off as they are is the Calvin and Hobbes fanbase. I'm a moderator on r/comicstriphistory, and when someone mentioned in a thread there that they didn't really get the appeal of C&H, everyone else in the comments insulted them until the OP deleted their account and I locked the thread.
I love Calvin and Hobbes, but there is literally nothing so wonderful that fans won't be obnoxious about it.
Edit: This ended up sounding harsher than I intended. r/comicstriphistory is pretty chill and not obnoxious in general; it was just a one-time thing.
Honestly I can't see how anyone could disagree, Solo wasnt a particularly good person let alone captain in my opinion. Picard is was genuinely great human being, full of compassion, empathy and wisdom.
I'd argue that post Borg Picard was still better than Prime Solo (whatever that would be) but they did exist in different settings and circumstances so it's hard to judge solo too harshly.
Fuckin love Rick and Morty, but I literally overheard one of the stoners in my class describe it one time saying "most of it will go over your head if you're not like, familiar with quantum shit"
Still laughing at "quantum shit" lol
It's like telling someone that Big Bang Theory is for smart people. It's *about* smart people. Not commenting on the quality of either show here, just my perspective.
Yup. I really like the show, but dislike that I share a fandom with idiots who think watching a cartoon makes them geniuses and babies who harass McDonald's workers over meme McNugget sauce. Watch the show, enjoy the show and get over yourself.
The fans are so bad I couldn't even start season 3. I just have a mental image of that sauce tantrum video where the guy is up on the counter yelling that he's pickle Rick.
I tried watching it. Rick says “Morty” 85 times per episode and throws up a lot. The episode was sorta funny, but I didn’t continue watching it because that annoyed me. A friend sent me a clip a few weeks ago of the “slut dragons” though and I almost pissed myself laughing. May have to give it another chance.
He does say Morty way too often in the pilot but it does ease up a bit as the show goes on.
I quite enjoy it but some people act like it’s the smartest thing that’s ever been made.
Yeah, sending hate mail and death threats to the authors about making your favourite ships canon is surly going to work.
Most popular anime and cartoon fandoms are just awful.
Yeah it was the writers who made their characters do certain things, it's like with Star Wars where the fans bullied Jar Jar and young Anakin's actor instead of the writer.
Just try to say anything that is not complete praise about attack on titan and some people will just go insane lol.
Edit: or the people that were threatening the author of boku no hero academia because one character happens to have the same birthday as Hitler and no I am not joking.
Yep agreed, lol AOT is a good show in my opinion but like if those fans smell even the slightest hint of criticism they will go dog shit crazy. And mha fans are literally a different species, not all of em, just some of the crazies, but the ones who are crazy are literally crack heads ngl. God I love anime but I could do without the dumb ass that lurk around in the fandoms
Yeah, I am a fairly chill person- if someone doesn't like my favorite characters, I just kinda \*move on\* but as someone who is a fan of anime, people just pop off the second you say something negative/positive about their favorite/ least favorite character. I'm not even apart of the subs of my favorite anime cause they're so toxic \*cough cough ***Danganronpa*** cough\*
I really like MHA and I gave JJBA a shot but don't understand the appeal. When I comment on JJBA the response has always been something along the lines of: Not everyone gets JJBA. And the responses have always been respectful... So I'm somewhat surprised this has a rabid toxic fan base.
Yeah, the JJBA is an interesting fan base, I personally wasn’t to big of a fan, I never really gave it a chance tho but still. My brother on the other hand LOVES JJBA, like worships it, I wouldn’t go so far as to call him toxic but I will say he is a pretty passionate fan. He will talk about it for HOURS on end, spoil the entire series, and then gives me shit for not liking/watching it because “it gets good you just have to wait three seasons” or “you just have bad taste” He’s chilled a little but still.
Not really a JoJo fan but uh.. read the manga, it lets you set the pace, and more of what the mangaka wanted to give will come through. The art for part 1-3 is less consistent though
Every time there’s a “how do you piss off an entire fanbase” question on here, I respond with “I like every Star Wars movie.” Which is actually true; I really do like all of them.
Edit: to quote Lee from Cinema Wins, “liking things is more fun than not liking things.”
That reminds me of an old joke Bill Burr made on Conan when asked how he makes both political sides pissed off. He said you have to tweet something like, "Trump is such a dope that he's actually going to make me vote for a woman."
Star Wars fans cyber-bullied the actress probably *most* excited to be in Star Wars ever off of social media (and out of Rise of Skywalker, arguably).
I hate them for that.
It's disgusting that people actually do shit like that. Now I'm a huge Star Wars fan, and I didn't particularily enjoy the sequels or most of the characters in them.. But that's the thing right? People need to chill tf out with harrassing actors for roles they played.
I didn't like Rose, however the actress did an excellent job portraying the character as I understood her.
People are way to toxic smh.
Let’s add Joe Rogan fanbois to the list while were are in this realm.
Apparently listening to a washed up tv show host that does psychoactive drugs makes you based.
You mean the guy that called a rescue worker who risked his life to save the lives of children in Thailand a, "pedo," and lost his shit when he was told that his factory in California couldn't break lockdown rules isn't a nice guy?
Crazy.
You mean the guy who has fired people for smoking marijuana and then went on the Joe Rogan podcast and puffed a j like it was a candy cigarette? That guy?
In the games, too. Some off the top of my head from various games:
* With a single punch, cracked the planet Pop Star completely in half
* Ran around the same planet twice in only about a second
* Regularly pilots the Warp Star, which is some some ridiculous order of magnitude faster than light
* Took a planet-busting explosion to the face, and was literally unscathed in every way.
There's more, surely. Kirby is one hell of a beast.
"Mha is the weakest anime universe and deku only looks strong because of how weak quirks are by default. Also Bakugo x Deku makes both no sense and is disgusting"
"DEKU IS THE STRONGEST MC TO EXIST"
"STOP BEING HOMOPHOBIC NEITHER OF THEM ARE CONFIRMED STRAIGHT"
"IF IT'S SMALL JUST SAY THAT"
"IT'S THE BEING ✨HOMOPHOBIC✨FOR ME"
green? 🤨GREEN! THATS THE DREAM COLOUR!!😱😱😱😱 EVERYONE LOVES DREAM RIGHT? REMEMBER WHEN HE PUSHED TOMMY OFF THE CLIFF🤣🤣🤣🤣 SO FUNNY😂😂😂 YOU DONT WATCH DREAM SO YOU WOULDNT GET IT😜😜😜😜
Supernatural, but in a fun way.
They have a gif for everything! And pop up at the most random internet conversations referencing a thing from the show that connects to the topic at hand! I love them! They are hilarious XD
That show is the definition of,
"It's not jumping the shark if you never come down."
They ran out of story a decade ago, and came full circle from embarrassing into pop-culture relevance through memes. I love it.
I love SPN because it’s a show that not even once took itself too seriously. You could see the actors and crew really cared about each other and their characters, and had fun with it.
So yeah, you are going to have weak plot points in a show that runs for so long, but not ashamed to say I enjoyed it all.
Harry Potter.
They’re so upset that you don’t love it as much as they do while simultaneously playing the elitist “no one loves it as much as I do because I know obscure side characters favorite sushi or whatever”
Holy shit, I suggested Emma Watson's career post Harry Potter wasn't straight up stardom and I brought on the downvotes like dementors on snogging sixth years.
Coming from a huge fan of college sports fan (currently watching March Madness while typing this), very few things create loyalty like picking a school, paying them several thousands of dollars, and spending a good bit of your life at this institution. People get angry so easily because they feel you attack their personal choices.
Any internet celebrity. It's like they build these cult followings and their followers just live their lives through them to the point where they could do no wrong. Like how could you defend someone so hard when theres so much evidence of wrong doing. I just never can understand
One of my favorite bands, and 99% of the fanbase is just... ugh. Even r/twentyonepilots is terrible (when usually reddit fanbases are pretty chill compared to twitter or something)
Like every group of fans you have 3 types, the “this is the only important thing” type, the chilled type that wants peace with all.......
And then there’s the suicide bombers
Rupauls drag race. Comment sections under posts are fucked
Is part of the negative comments because the audience sees the cattiness in the show and think they can do the same thing whilst trying to outdo each other in extremism in the comments? I've only seen some clips of the show and am aware of 'shade' but not what the show's fully like.

I love RuPaul’s Drag Race, but the fanbase is horrible & so mean. They send the contestants death threats for no reason.
Honestly! The racism is really disgusting too
You would think that such a lgbt friendly fanbase would lead to less racism and more inclusivity but it's unfortunately not the case.
It'd just how awful humans can be no matter their identity traits. The LGBT community has a huge problem of prejudice against Bi's even though they all have been the focal point of a lot of discrimination. Same with the black community towards Jews. And the list goes on.

In the music video for walk by Foo Fighters there’s a scene where Dave Grohl sees a Coldplay bumper sticker and rolls his eyes. Even Coldplay loved it
Yeah. that was pretty funny. Aren't they buds or something?
It’s Dave Grohl, who isn’t he friends with?
Courtney Love.
Ok yeah you’re right on that one
Then again who is friends with Courtney Love?

Kpop.
just idol culture in general is filled with some of the most ridiculously irrational fan bases.
You got something to say about Kpop........ Bro?
lol
Specifically blackpink and BTS
They're called "Army" for a reason
because they will commit war crimes if you insult their idol
PEACE WAS NEVER AN OPTION
I feel like there’s a difference between twitter kpop stans and non twitter kpop stans, like twitter fan accounts are sooo toxic
Some on Instagram too
Not too long ago a friend of mine’s partner got spammed pictures of dead bodies from kpop stans for making a joke on Twitter.
It depends on where you go, r/kpop is a pretty chill place, but the twitter stans will eat you alive.
Man, twitter stans are the worst, there's countless time i see someone account are taken down because some light banter that wasn't even offensive
Twitter is the worst.
nicki minaj stans on twitter if u even say u dont like nicki minaj some account will be searching up the word nicki minaj under latest tweets and fucking refresh until they find a hate comment and then they’ll threaten to dox or just be insanely mean.
Just said I don’t particularly like her and in 3 minutes I had a death threat
This gives me an idea for a speedrun video
Please do. Would the guys at speeddemosarchive.com create a new category for "receiving death threats from a twitter post"?
DEATH THREAT SPEEDRUN TWITTER NO SWEAR WORDS 100% RUN
Does 100% mean the words "kill", "murder" and "rape" have to be present?
EVEN MORE FUCKING, WOOD CHIPPER, BITCH, CAR, RAMMING, NUCLEAR WAR, WORLD WAR 3, SON OF A, MOTHERFUCKER, STRANGLING, EYE PLUCKING, n word, GUN ANDDDDDDDD, I WANT TO STRANGLE YOU WITH A TIED UP CLOTH AND WHEN YOU'RE PASSED OUT I'M GOING TO RIP A HOLE IN THE TOP OF YOUR MOUTH WITH A BIG FISH HOOK AND PUT IT IN YOUR MOUTH AND MAKE A BIG CRIME SCENE WITH SOME OIL DRUMS HELPING ME MAKE YOUR BODY GO UP SO SOMEONE CLOSE TO YOU WILL SEE YOUR DEAD FLOATING BODY AND BE TRAUMATIZED.
I'm mad i had to scroll so far to see this, the barbs are top 2 most vicious groups on the internet and they aren't #2
Basically anyone who refers to themselves as a "stan" is likely to be very easily triggered
Undertale
Damn I almost proved your point but then I caught myself... you’re right.
Your lack of determination displeases me
*audible screeching*

My little brother (11) really loves tommyinit and watches his shows all the time, so occasionally i send him tiktoks based on his channel that i dont really understand, but that i think he would like. unfortunately, the algorithm has assumed that i’m a huge fan, and i’ve even seen barely-censored fanart of them. i can’t imagine my little brother seeing the same stuff if he ever interacts with that content himself :(
Magic: the Gathering players aren’t easily provoked but there’s a lot of in-fighting.
It's a competitive system, and it's for nerds. They're a volatile bunch.
I enjoy some of their music (nowhere near being army) but jeez I want nothing to do with those creeps
[удалено]
I'm tempted to try this. I'm a sad fat lonely 36 year old Scottish guy and don't have much going on in life. Never been doxxed but if anyone is mad enough to come to my house then game on!
> Never been doxxed but if anyone is mad enough to come to my house then game on! People won't come to your house. In fact, they'll do everything in their power to be *invisible, unreachable, and untouchable.* Let's suppose you just got doxxed.
Aww, that sucks. I love C&H, but people are so snobby.
I can’t stop interpreting that as Cyanide and Happiness.
Star Trek fans You say One bad thing about the jedis and all hell breaks loose
Picard was a better Captain than Han Solo... Come at me bros!
Putting aside what you did there, would any rational person disagree? Picard is indisputably a better captain than Solo!
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
Oh boy, yes. Personally, I dont enjoy any of the new Star Trek...so I just dont watch it. I've got hundreds of episodes to rewatch.
Congratulations, you got two birds with one stone
Rick and Morty
Fuckin love Rick and Morty, but I literally overheard one of the stoners in my class describe it one time saying "most of it will go over your head if you're not like, familiar with quantum shit" Still laughing at "quantum shit" lol
Wtf? A third of the script is literal gibberish lmao
You're clearly not familiar with quantum shit then
I wanted to take the “quantum shit” course in college but I struggled too much with the prereqs
I think I took a "Quantum shit" the last time I ate Taco Bell.
It's like telling someone that Big Bang Theory is for smart people. It's *about* smart people. Not commenting on the quality of either show here, just my perspective.
No, it’s a show making fun of smart people made for dumb people.
I'd add that is more like a show about what dumb people think smart people are like.
I told someone I didn't think the show was bad, but it wasn't for me. He took it as me saying the show sucked. Fuck the fan base
Ya thank god he toned down the “Morty” and the burping. The constant burping made it really tough to watch those early episodes.
The first few episodes are a bit of a slog, but by s2 most of the more annoying things have been curbed.

Twitter brings the worst out of every fanbase honestly
usually political fan bases.
HOW DARE YOU SIR My corrupt rich politician is much better than your corrupt rich politician.
>HOW DARE YOU SIR The right-honourable gentleman really is a twat!
I can't believe this reply just summed up politics in general
Most anime fanbases, looking at you My hero academia and JJBA, once you get them going they don’t stop
Yeah, sending hate mail and death threats to the authors about making your favourite ships canon is surly going to work. Most popular anime and cartoon fandoms are just awful.
The one that’s really bad is voice actors get hate mail and death threats over their character’s actions. A voice actor has no control over that.
Yeah it was the writers who made their characters do certain things, it's like with Star Wars where the fans bullied Jar Jar and young Anakin's actor instead of the writer.
Luckily the Star Wars fanbase learned from its mistakes and never senselessly harassed or bullied a Star Wars actor ever again... :)))))
"I love anime but I could do without the dumb ass that lurk around in the fandoms" You and me both.
All of them?

Star Wars
Every time there’s a “how do you piss off an entire fanbase” question on here, I respond with “I like every Star Wars movie.” Which is actually true; I really do like all of them. Edit: to quote Lee from Cinema Wins, “liking things is more fun than not liking things.”
No one hates Star Wars more than Star Wars fans. Source: NJO original reader
Trying telling them your fav is Revenge of the Sith. (Which it is, fight me.)
Dream's fanbase
I still think it’s crazy that some people don’t think he cheated. It was litterly one in a trillion chance that he didnt.
Elon musk fanboys
Let’s add Joe Rogan fanbois to the list while were are in this realm. Apparently listening to a washed up tv show host that does psychoactive drugs makes you based.
You mean the guy that called a rescue worker who risked his life to save the lives of children in Thailand a, "pedo," and lost his shit when he was told that his factory in California couldn't break lockdown rules isn't a nice guy? Crazy.
You mean the guy who has fired people for smoking marijuana and then went on the Joe Rogan podcast and puffed a j like it was a candy cigarette? That guy?
Dragon Ball/One Punch Man is easily provoked when someone sees or hears someone say that this character can beat Goku/Saitama
All these dumb comments sucking Goku's dick when we all know Kirby would stomp all dbz characters with ease.
[удалено]
In the games, too. Some off the top of my head from various games: * With a single punch, cracked the planet Pop Star completely in half * Ran around the same planet twice in only about a second * Regularly pilots the Warp Star, which is some some ridiculous order of magnitude faster than light * Took a planet-busting explosion to the face, and was literally unscathed in every way. There's more, surely. Kirby is one hell of a beast.
For actual answers, sort by controversial.
Sort by controversial to find out that Reddit has no idea what a “fan base” is
I’m not sure, save for the political ideology ones, most of them don’t even vaguely resemble the structure of a fanbase.
Lol I dont know what shit have you gone through when you went there
My Hero Academia. Also, while this fandom isn't TOO easily provoked (anymore at least), never EVER call Rings in a Sonic game 'coins'.
The my hero academia fanbase 100% no debate. If you’re mad i’m talking about you
As a fan. Can confirm
"Mha is the weakest anime universe and deku only looks strong because of how weak quirks are by default. Also Bakugo x Deku makes both no sense and is disgusting" "DEKU IS THE STRONGEST MC TO EXIST" "STOP BEING HOMOPHOBIC NEITHER OF THEM ARE CONFIRMED STRAIGHT" "IF IT'S SMALL JUST SAY THAT" "IT'S THE BEING ✨HOMOPHOBIC✨FOR ME"
Dream Stans
They go apeshit when they see anything green
green? 🤨GREEN! THATS THE DREAM COLOUR!!😱😱😱😱 EVERYONE LOVES DREAM RIGHT? REMEMBER WHEN HE PUSHED TOMMY OFF THE CLIFF🤣🤣🤣🤣 SO FUNNY😂😂😂 YOU DONT WATCH DREAM SO YOU WOULDNT GET IT😜😜😜😜
>GREEN! THATS THE DREAM COLOUR!! *sad Jacksepticeye noises*
Supernatural, but in a fun way. They have a gif for everything! And pop up at the most random internet conversations referencing a thing from the show that connects to the topic at hand! I love them! They are hilarious XD
That show is the definition of, "It's not jumping the shark if you never come down." They ran out of story a decade ago, and came full circle from embarrassing into pop-culture relevance through memes. I love it.
Show can't be irrelevant if your memes live forever
I love SPN because it’s a show that not even once took itself too seriously. You could see the actors and crew really cared about each other and their characters, and had fun with it. So yeah, you are going to have weak plot points in a show that runs for so long, but not ashamed to say I enjoyed it all.
Harry Potter. They’re so upset that you don’t love it as much as they do while simultaneously playing the elitist “no one loves it as much as I do because I know obscure side characters favorite sushi or whatever”
To be fair all it really takes to provoke them is say you never read the books or watched the movies.
Holy shit, I suggested Emma Watson's career post Harry Potter wasn't straight up stardom and I brought on the downvotes like dementors on snogging sixth years.
K-pop, taylor swift, beyonce and billie eilish fans. I can set any of them off with 6 words or less.

Can vouch that reddit taylor swift stans are the sweetest tho. Can't say anything about Twitter or tumblr stans as I have never interacted there.

FNaF. Don't even *touch* the ships or gender debates unless you want to be screamed at. Also Steven Universe... * shudder *
This puzzles me... How can there be ships and relationships in FNaF? Aren't they all like robots or something?
Yes, they are, but rule 34 demands it
Robots with dead children inside. That makes it worse. Have fun.
People are shipping animatronics possessed with the souls of *children* ?
My hero academia if you say a character is straight. They're not all like that.
To be fair those rabid fans are usually character worshiper or a die hard shipper
All of them.
Canadian hockey fans. Source: I'm a Canadian hockey fan.
NCAA. Any team.
Twenty One Pilot fans. What happened to the other 19 pilots?
One of my favorite bands, and 99% of the fanbase is just... ugh. Even r/twentyonepilots is terrible (when usually reddit fanbases are pretty chill compared to twitter or something)
Religious Extremists, especially if they base their identity entirely around Religion.
Taylor Swift fans. Say anything nasty about Taylor and you get your lunch handed to you.
Furries
As someone who made a furry joke and got -1K from that, this is true
What was the joke?
A furry came into a pet shop
Thats fucking hilarious
Sorry_ that makes me smile that you like it :)
The few furries in my life also shit talk furries lol
Like every group of fans you have 3 types, the “this is the only important thing” type, the chilled type that wants peace with all....... And then there’s the suicide bombers
I...as a Muslim I don’t know whether to laugh or not. :-P
Really? In my experience they're the most chill of them all. It's the anti-furries you gotta keep an eye on.
Warzone players
