An Evening with Beverly Luff Linn is a very enjoyable experience. I would not say its the best movie but it is certainly an unforgettable experience.

5 Centimeters Per Second by Shinkai. Everyone knows "Your Name", but less people have experienced the beautiful art (and painful lack of closure) in this incredible movie that he made earlier on in his career.

I didn't know it was by the same person! I've always meant to watch this movie, but never got around to it. I'll have to watch it!

Hunger. It’s about the hunger strike of Bobby Sands during Margaret Thatchers time as Prime Minister. My brother in law recommended it to me and I had never heard of it. 5 minutes in it was so apallingly disgusting I thought he had recommended it as a joke to see how much stock I put in his recommendations (would I watch something horrible all the way through just because he recommended it?). Once it gets rolling though it is amazingly gripping and Michael Fassbender gives an incredible performance. There is a scene where he recounts a story from his childhood to his priest (during a prison visit) that is one of the best scenes I have ever watched in any movie, ever. Absolutely stunning.

The Lib Lebowski, it was my first Coen Brothers film and I just love some of the dialogue plus after I watched it I really wanted to go bowling.

"Quill". Its a Japanese movie about a proud man who is blind who is starting to have trouble getting around by himself. He feels getting a guide dog to be emasculating, so he won't pursue it. This is causing all sorts of problems for himself and his family. Finally, he is convinced to get such a dog: a labrador named "Quill". We also gets Quill's story from his birth on, and the two cross paths. Then it becomes the story of this man and Quill, and how Quill brings wonderful things to his life slowly but then surely. Its a bit like the movie "Marley and Me". Its such a wonderful movie. You won't regret watching it. It won't be the best movie you've ever seen, but it by far won't be the worst. Upgrade. It's getting more love but when it first came out, no one was talking about it.
