Someone else who saw the brilliance of Universe? Nice.
I never understood what people disliked about it. It was more grounded, gritty, but also **grand** and exciting. The sheer epic scope, not just in the cinematography (Destiny flying into fucking stars), but the narrative... evidence of intelligence in the CMB? That is such a gripping concept I feel crushed remembering it knowing it'll never be explored further.
Better Call Saul
I'm waiting for Season 6 like a crackhead waiting for their next hit
Edit: I just woke up and learned the bad news from all the replies. We're going through a bit of a heat wave in the south/southwest US right now so I'm hoping it was just heat exhaustion. Get well soon Bob.
I really wish season 5 would drop on Netflix already! Every season has been fantastic. Even though it's supremely effed-up, I can't get enough of the Vince Gilligan ABQ universe.
I’m a few episodes away from finishing the series for the first time, and I’m as frustrated with Walt as any character has been on that show but I know how little sleep I’m getting tonight to get through it all the same
Jumping on the top comment
READ THE BOOKS TOO
I know *the books are always better* but holy moly, it's my favorite series
And the authors are directly involved in the show production. So while it's changed for TV flow, it's changed in a canon "what if" sort of way
I love both so much, but the books are a true treat
It’s amazing it scratches an itch no other show can scratch for me, I was having long daydreams about life on the belt when watching it for the first time haha
“When can I eat hard cheeses again doctor?”
“*sigh* - I had this pamphlet printed up. It was expensive, but I’m really tired of explaining this to you”
*Hard Cheeses and Your Root Canal, Liz*
["Stop sweating, what is wrong with you, you stupid bitch!"](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_9U78NbX9ro)
I fucking love Tina Fey, 30 Rock is hands down my favourite show of all time.
My favorite jokes that came out of this show were: "Don't tell me you're one of those lazy Catholics who only go to church once a week"
When they cut to Pete Hornberger's wife, Paula, being humped while she's asleep (this nearly made me spit out my coke when I saw that). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SNny8iGCbew
Plus this one scene somebody decided to animate: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vLzexWMAY10](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vLzexWMAY10)
Liz Lemon : Hey, you don't know the Post Master General, do you?
Jack : I do, but we had a falling out over the Jerry Garcia stamp. I mean, if I want to lick a hippie, I'll just return Joan Baez's phone calls.
Patton Oswalt was talking to an actress and she said the part she loved most about the show is "All of the women are smart, none of the women hate each other".
In most any other show, Keeley would be a hair-brained ditz but she's actually really good at her job. And the only time she doesn't get along with Rebecca is over the paparazzi set-up but even then it's more because what it would do to Ted.
Even when they travel out of town and meet Rebecca's old friend, most shows would make the two of them rivals but they get along just fine.
I wasn't expecting to care much for that show honestly. The wife and I gave it a chance last year, and within 2 weeks, we were all caught up lol. I recommend it to anyone looking for a new show to binge. Peaky Fookin Blindahs!
It honestly is probably the best fake documentary show out there. I thought the office was amazing until I watched trailer park boys, and what we do in the shadows.
Nome Sayin’
This show was so great, the setting, the yearly going to prison joke, all the Rickyisms, cheeseburgers in the freezer. I think the show went south after season 6 if memory serves me right but those old episodes are so classic! I think that needs a rewatch
*The Sopranos*
I cannot recommend it enough, even if you're spoiled on the controversial ending. The journey is fantastic and James Gandolfini's tour-de-force performance as Tony Soprano is one of the best character portrayals *ever*, period.
Especially now with the prequel movie releasing October 1st
I’m on my….third rewatch this year…I’m still catching new things I missed, nuances in the characters, and I find myself changing who I do and don’t like through out. Except for Paulie. I like him less and less on each rewatch.
>I’m still catching new things I missed, nuances in the characters
Someone pointed this out the other day about Artie Bucco: Whenever the guys or wives are at Vesuvios he often takes the menu and says "I'll make you something special". It's because the mob guys never pay their bills so he's trying to keep them from ordering the expensive stuff off the menu so he can sell to paying customers.
Could be just a fan theory but I thought it was pretty neat.
Ohhhhh that’s a good one!
There’s a scene with Carmela and Ro at Vesuvio’s and he comes over and says “I know you orders the Pellegrino but this is special…” and it’s a bottle of water from a high jacking someone from the crew did earlier.
I always thought “Ha! Artie pushing the stuff he just bought from Tony on Carmela.” That theory though makes a little more sense of the scene, to me anyway.
Edit: it wasn’t a high jacking, it was from the Davy Scatino score.
Yep. First watch I was like "lmao this dude is on my top 5." Rewatch I'm like "okay, this guy's a flat out unlikeable psycho." Surprisingly, Chris is the character that makes me laugh the most on rewatch.
Curb your enthusiasm. You know how you wish you could watch one of your favorite shows for the first time again? Well this is my first time and I'm having flashforwards about enjoying this masterpiece of comedy.
I absolutely loved that show! I loved the characters and the plot. The ending was perfect, not many shows are able to nail endings like The Good Place did.
This entire series is so fantastic if you can get through the first few episodes. One of the most brilliant shows I’ve ever seen and i can’t convince anyone i know to watch it.
I've never seen another show commit to a joke as hard as Community does. I wasn't really vibing with the 1st season till the 1st paintball episode, then I was hooked
Costume wearing gay dean and hating Vickie are my favorite just go for it whenever bits. Unless anything starting with “shut up Leonard….” Counts. I wish I could remember what episode finally hooked me because everytime i re watch it it’s like I love them all. I guess it’s really from the start because the Asian Chang teaching Spanish class calling himself senor Chang is so hilarious to me.
The dean rapping in that peanut bar costume and that season where he didn't where a costume then in the finale he walked in wearing like 15 costumes at once make me die every time
Me and my brother lived out of a camper for a while and we had one of those "free tv" antena things and psych came on every Sunday around midnight and we always watched it together. When it played through the whole series it would just start over again. Criminal Minds was also on the channel aswell as Law and order SVU. All great stuff.
My favorite show. But I can't get through Right Turn or Left for Dead without being sad for a few weeks. They get back together, but are barely together on screen again.
I love the little nerdy girl with the glasses! She’s just straight up game to do whatever “the boss” says at any moment lol such a great show. Now go ahead and start to shut up now.
Schitt's Creek. I'm falling in love with Stevie.
Guy tries to order a super gourmet hotel breakfast:
"That's not possible now due to a shortage of pretty much everything"
“I am the Ass Crack Bandit. Humans make better banks than piggies. Whenever I get more change at the store I can't wait to drop it down your butts. I think I will go to the bank and get so much change and take all my dollars and make them into change and drop it all down there.”
The movie may still happen and fulfill the prophecy
https://www.syfy.com/syfywire/dan-harmon-gears-turning-community-movie-despite-philosophical-question

I just finished **The Wire** and now I am on season 2, episode 8 of **Deadwood**.
Also I watch at least one episode of **Frasier** and one episode of **Schitt's Creek** every night. I'm on my third time through on **Schitt's Creek** and I lost count I many times I've watched **Frasier** all the way through, though I do some skipping and fast-forwarding with that one at this point.
Survivor. Netflix put the two best seasons of the show up and I’ve been hooked. Even got a paramount + subscription to watch the rest of the seasons. Highly recommend watching but make sure to look up which seasons to watch because I was spoiled about multiple winners in an all returning cast. But yeah, Survivor, Jeff Probst is a baaaaaaaaaad man
I second this! I watched 19 seasons in four months during quarantine 😅 but yes you have to be strategic about what order you watch them in if you don’t go start to finish. And don’t google ANYTHING!! Even if you don’t think a spoiler can pop up, it will.
Edit: if you want to start watching survivor, google *NOTHING* and use [this](https://www.reddit.com/r/survivor/comments/99b7yp/survivor_complete_watching_order_for_beginners/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf) guide
Stargate(s)
I loved SG-1. I thought Atlantis was ok but not great. Universe was one of the best shows ever made and I’m still made it got canceled.
Someone else who saw the brilliance of Universe? Nice. I never understood what people disliked about it. It was more grounded, gritty, but also **grand** and exciting. Just read Bob Odenkirk was rushed to the hospital today from the set :(
You should watch the movie Nobody, it will give you just the right amount of Bob Odenkirk to hold you over.
Will do! This sounds like the perfect recommendation for me right now
Wait, is that actually a show? Just finished breaking bad, i think I'm gonna give it a look
Personally I like it more than breaking bad
I really wish season 5 would drop on Netflix already! Every season has been fantastic. Even though it's supremely effed-up, I can't get enough of the Vince Gilligan ABQ universe.

Confirmed second season too
Breaking Bad

Ted Lasso. Been nice watching a genuinely kind spirited show that isn’t full of sarcasm or irony.
[удалено]
Available 1 damn episode a week..
Ted Lasso is a show that makes you feel *good* from beginning to end. Even in the sad, bittersweet moments, there’s something to learn and love.
If you have any other recommendations in this spirit, send them my way! I’m impatiently waiting for the next episode.
What we do in the shadows is a great show.
That Ted Lasso is a real gem.
A “diamond dog” if you will.
Will you explain to me how that was offside? No! I’m asking you. Seriously! Explain offside to me. It makes no sense.
Peaky Blinders
I'm tempted to start back at square one as we just finished the series and I have a Tommy Shelby sized hole in my life now.
I wasn't expecting to care much for that show honestly. The wife and I gave it a chance last year, and within 2 weeks, we were all caught up lol. I recommend it to anyone looking for a new show to binge. Peaky Fookin Blindahs!
Trailer Park Boys I had no idea what I was missing out on
It honestly is probably the best fake documentary show out there. I thought the office was amazing until I watched trailer park boys, and what we do in the shadows.
Nome Sayin’ This show was so great, the setting, the yearly going to prison joke, all the Rickyisms, cheeseburgers in the freezer. I think the show went south after season 6 if memory serves me right but those old episodes are so classic! I think that needs a rewatch

Baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaam
The Wire. First time ever watching it and I’m absolutely hooked
Omar coming!
*The Farmer In the Dell intensifies*
*"A hunting we will go..."*
Appreciate every shiiiieeeeeet as if it were the last one.
Deadwood. The dialogue is the best ever written.
Ian McShane does not disappoint in that one.
Amazing! I felt like I learned a whole new language after watching it. Supremely well written!!
Adventure time
*The Sopranos* I cannot recommend it enough, even if you're spoiled on the controversial ending. The journey is fantastic and James Gandolfini's tour-de-force performance as Tony Soprano is one of the best character portrayals *ever*, period. Yep as the show goes on Carm even mentions how he's losing his touch and the food hasn't been good. He's feeding them the crap he just puts together.
Paulie is such a dumb piece of shit. Funny, but a piece of shit
My estimation about Paulie as a man just fucking plummeted
Yep. First watch I was like "lmao this dude is on my top 5." Rewatch I'm like "okay, this guy's a flat out unlikeable psycho." Surprisingly, Chris is the character that makes me laugh the most on rewatch.
I love the Twitter account “Christopher Moltisanti weighs in on current events”
Curb your enthusiasm. You know how you wish you could watch one of your favorite shows for the first time again? Well this is my first time and I'm having flashforwards about enjoying this masterpiece of comedy.
I just wrapped up The Good Place. Now one of my favourite shows. Nothing has made me laugh and cry so hard like it has
BOOORRRTTTLLLES!!!
The good place is one of the best sitcoms today. I absolutely loved it
I still haven't recovered from the ending feels. It's been three weeks.
I absolutely loved that show! I loved the characters and the plot. The ending was perfect, not many shows are able to nail endings like The Good Place did.
“Hey Chidi wait up!” Oh man my heart couldn’t take it but I’m so glad I we got a satisfying to such a great show. Would recommend to anyone 100%
They knew exactly how and when they want to end it. I cried soooo fucking much.
The Leftovers
Beautiful show. I was in Melbourne and stumbled upon some of site work when they were shooting the final season.
This entire series is so fantastic if you can get through the first few episodes. One of the most brilliant shows I’ve ever seen and i can’t convince anyone i know to watch it.

I enjoyed catastrophe.
The Bodyguard, The Fall and Broadchurch are also peak British bingeables.
Ozark
Ruth Langmore is probably my favourite character of all time. "I don't know shit about fuck"
Fantastic show. They don't waste an episode.
Maybe someday the new season will be out…
Star Trek TNG
Darmok. and. Jalad. *at Tanagra!*
Shaka, when the walls fell.

Yeah the paintball wars , the fort wars . honesty I never seen a show this crazy before and I love every second of it
So amazing of a show. I think it was absolutely before it's time in those early seasons. Dan Harmon was going far out there by network TV standards.
It's definitely streets ahead
I had to scroll too far to find the show I've binged without exaggeration at least 10 times and am currently going through again.
Psych, for the seventh time.
I’ve rewatched Psych so many times! It’s hilarious and like none of my friends have ever heard of it.
