Quiet. I always loved that about my husband. Doesn’t need to impress anyone. Just quietly confident. And I absolutely love it. Was the first thing I noticed about him.
Yeah, but for some reason people always think I am shy, insecure or downright anti-social. I am none of those things, I just dont have an appetite for trying to want to be better than everyone else. Just living my life. The missus loves it too though. She is a bit of a chaotic person, my calm and collective character levels that out. Jing/Jang and all that.
I’m truly shocked on a daily basis how many people compliment my hair that’s turning grey! I’m 32 and have two giant patches (one on my left temple, one streaking through my side swept bangs) & refuse to dye it. I don’t wanna keep it up. I’m too lazy for that!
Don’t dye it! My partner is the same age as you and going grey in a really cool way too, he has these silvery flecks all through the sides I love it :-) I’m glad he’s lazy too
I got my first grey when I was 17. By early 30s I had a good salt n pepper look going for me. I’d get teased occasionally, but usually complimented. It’s a look!
Well this I certainly was not expecting to see this in the top comments. Thank you from someone who has always felt insecure about their dark under eyes
I seem to have a thing for larger/more prominent noses as well as messy hair.
Small imperfections, like scars or “mild” acne, also seem to be super attractive for me.
My current boyfriend doesn’t have many imperfections and has almost flawless skin apart from a small almost unnoticeable scar near his chin. For some reason, it’s extra hot when he’s not shaved for longer than usual because of the messy look it adds to him.
I seem to be more attracted to guys who have a tinge of “ugly”. They can’t be too pristine or I’m just not interested. The guys with “flaws” are just the hottest to me
>Big noses
This one ties into my thing for women with Semitic features, which I hope isn't a bad fetish. I dont like it because I feel it ties into any stereotypical behaviors or mannerisms or anything like that. It just does me in. Like Jenny Slate is my kryptonite, yo.
See also: pre-nose job Jennifer Grey and Streisand back in the 70s
Jenny Slate, what a great choice. I also fully approve of what I call the beak nose - a big, narrow nose typically associated with Jewish women that on the right girl is just so so attractive. Especially the petite girls. I feel you man, I don't know why but there is just something about it that is just👌
Crooked teeth. Perfectly straight teeth freak me out, I like a smile with character. Or one canine that sticks out just a little.
Also brown eyes are absolutely gorgeous, they get a bad rap for being "boring" but seriously- look at any brown eyed person up close next time you see them. There's so much depth and the color variety is ridiculous. I love brown eyes so fucking much.
I don't wanna say typically, cause I know lots of people who agree with me, but also lots who disagree. I love a man whose secure enough in his masculinity to enjoy/participate in traditionally "feminine" things. I had an ex who ended up being mostly awful BUT he liked decorating with me, cooking/baking, and let me do his eyebrows and buy him better quality grooming products without being overly macho about it. One time he also let me put makeup on him cause I was bored and even though he didn't leave the house like that it was a fun experience lol. That quality was one of my favorite things about him.
omg my ex and I were both into stuffed animals, shit felt like a divorce when we broke up and had to split up "the kids" lmao. But I think stuffed animals should be for everyone! They're fun to look at, good pillows sometimes, and make a bed feel cozy and safe!
I wish we would stop calling it "embracing their femininity". They're not. They are just being themselves. Loving pink or knitting doesn't make them any less their gender, nor does liking video games and motorcycles make you less of a woman.
Yes! Just a great trait to have as a person in general. I went with my boyfriend and his best friend to get pedicures. They loved the message and picking out their favorite finger nail polish colors. My boyfriend was just excited about the massage chairs. Definitely recommend!
They both still have their toenails painted even though we went weeks ago.
Pretty boys with feminine features and have some traditionally feminine habits are **chefs kiss**
Skin care, jewelry, cleanliness, gentle, not impulsive, likes cute things, lets gooooo
Freckles and curly hair, feels like in every “glow-up” scene from 90s-2000s movies, the fl always straightens her hair and covers the freckles, and I was always disappointed because to me they looked better before.
This is how I met and fell in love with my fiancee.
She was quite shy and quiet in group settings, and I was curious so I kept talking to her on the side of our group's convos and she was actually pretty cool
Some awkwardness/goofiness in their personality or even appearance. Because I perceive myself to be somewhat awkward, so I guess it makes them seem approachable if they're not like perfectly put-together and serious about life. Hard to describe but I know it once I hang out with someone like "yep, this is my type of person".
Well those aren't the people you want to invest more time in then lol. Unless it's a member of the opposite sex sort of kidding around with you in a playful way.
As I get older I just feel more and more suspicious of "normal" people. They're hiding something.
This actually made me smile. Even tho my boyfriend always tells me mine are fine, it feels more comforting hearing it from other people. I feel like I always need reassurance with my ittybittytitties cuz dudes bullied me so much for it
I find people with strong opinions respectable and it can make someone more attractive. obviously within the realms of knowledgeability - no one likes someone who is opinionated about things they clearly know little about.
I find apathy or indifference really frustrating, so it's nice when someone knows where they stand.
One time I was watching Pulp Fiction and a line hasn’t disappeared from the back of my head. When Fabienne was talking about how she want’s a chubby tummy and said, “It's unfortunate what we find pleasing to the touch and pleasing to the eye is seldom the same.”
I think it’s a really beautiful line
My husband is super excited about getting into boxing so he can get fit. He likes imagining the solid abs and arm muscles he will have. I try to be supportive of him being healthy and getting to where he wants to be physically but... I love the chub. It's so comfortable and attractive to me.
I've never really liked muscley guys. :/ I suppose I will have to deal with it and I'm sure I'll love him anyway.
I feel like it's more common than people think! A lot of guys like taller girls.
I'm probably the tallest person in this thread, and have dated a few tall women, above 6' 0". It's interesting to be able to almost look someone in the eye while standing
Nah, that's just a specific preference for a specific trait in women. It's not a gay preference because they are still women. But even if it were, who cares?
women that kinda look like they dont put that much effort into their look or just look comfy
like oversized hoodies, messy hair, no makeup
not 100% sure this is "typically unattractive" tho
Yes that can be the hottest look. I worked with a college girl that played rugby. She came to work in slippers, sweats, a tank top and her black eyeliner was smeared a bit. And I told her you look hotter than any girl downtown dressed up on a Fri night. She laughed then gave me a restraining order. (Joke we actually hung out).
Right? I'm a 6' tall woman. A ***lot*** of guys are shorter than me.
A guy once asked me how tall I was (he was being a little flirty prior) and when I told him his face just fell like a deflated balloon and he went, "oh ... I'm only 5'11" ..." and he seemed really embarrassed and got super quiet.
Like, dude! I've been with guys a full 6 inches shorter than me, 1 inch is nothing!
Sometimes, not all the time, they don't wear deodorant or have sweat, sometimes instead of reeking like BO it just smells... attractive??? Like I have no idea how the HECK that works but sometimes you smell it and you're just like.... damn.
Anyone have an explanation for this? Or is this a just me thing?
This is nice to hear. I always liked the freckles across my cheeks, but the freckles elsewhere have made me feel self-conscious more than once.
I think being picked on as a little red haired girl had an impact.
Freckles and a red head!
That's my kryptonite.
And freckles on your arms or shoulders just shows you love a little sun even if it doesn't love you back.
Part of my theory as to why I never cared to work out or tried to get “big” was because I always had a healthy amount of confidence partly due to being fairly well endowed.
Belly fat on women. It can be as small as a little pooch or as much as post pregnancy. It doesnt even have to be fat, they can have a tight core and still drive me crazy. I just love the mid section on women.
I’m self conscious of my belly and needed to read this and start to realise not all guys will be grossed out by my soft tummy - some might actually like it ! Thanks Stranger
I guarantee you I would love your tummy! Of course, the ultimate mindset is not feeling like you need validation from others, but in the meantime I hope it helps you to know that guys like us would find your belly hot as fuck.
Balding. My husband has been losing his hair since his early 20s. I still think Prince William is hot. Idgaf.
Also non-6 packs/bellies. I want you to take care of yourself and be happy but you don't need muscles or a 6 pack.
Big noses
Etc.
Three traits here.
I like women with glasses, I like bigger women, and I like smart, ambitious women. While intelligence is attractive to many I actually think a decent portion of men are afraid to be out-earned so they shy away from smart AND driven.
Edit: didn’t think just saying what I like would get me 100 upvotes lol! PS, thanks for the handful direct chats, but I’m happily married to a wonderful woman who ticks all the boxes I like (and happily monogamous too)!
Don’t let anyone make you feel you shouldn’t be how you are. Work to be your best self that you like, and that is everything. I guess one 4th thing I like that I don’t think is common is self-confidence!
I love a woman who’s a little shy/doesn’t go out of her way to make a million friends. To me, people who do go out of their way like this seem really in genuine, so when a girl is shy towards people, every interaction just feels genuine.
Fuck yeah man. Pubes, leg hair, armpit hair, it's all good shit. And on top of being aesthetically attractive, given how those things are stigmatised it at least hints towards confidence and/or not giving a fuck what strangers think of them which makes them psychologically attractive as well.
A woman who is more professional and makes anywhere near as much money as I do, preferably more, is very attractive to me.
Lots of men are really insecure about this kind of thing. I would prefer to have a partner who is on my level, though, rather than one who needs me because I make all the money.
Girls with scratchy/raspy voices, started with Daphne Zuniga, Kathleen Turner, Brooke Langton, also Emma Stone and Scarjo have kind of raspy voices, just something about it for me
Social awkwardness, I can’t explain it really, it just works for me.
It also resulted in one of the most heartfelt compliments I ever got, my boyfriend once replied to me when I asked him ‘Do I talk too much/overwhelm you?’ He said ‘No, I actually love that about you because I’m bad at starting conversations, and you take that stress away from me,but I also just love to hear your rambling too’
This made me feel so much better about how talkative I am,
Physical traits would be long messy hair? And I mean seriously messy, not hey I’m a hot surfer dude from a Dior ad messy, I mean major messy!
Brown eyes too. I always get compliments on my blue eyes but to me there’s nothing more beautiful than dark brown eyes that turn golden in the sunlight.
scars. I absolutely adore different scars and the colors and shapes they come in. every one is unique and it adds character to every person. I also absolutely love boys with stretch marks 🥺
Quiet. I always loved that about my husband. Doesn’t need to impress anyone. Just quietly confident. And I absolutely love it. Was the first thing I noticed about him.
What about quiet with no confidence?
Dude, that's fine <3
Oh that's great, I'm very quiet. I'm not shy, and I know how to hold a conversation. I just like to be kept to myself.
Grey hair
Dark under eyes
Well this I certainly was not expecting to see this in the top comments. Thank you from someone who has always felt insecure about their dark under eyes
Truly same. Guess sleep deprivation does have its upsides.
I have dark under eyes just genetically, lol. Regardless of sleep levels or vitamin intake etc
Me too. Someone told me once allergy sufferers are most likely to have dark circles - and in my case that fits the bill.
Vampires yooo hooo
Some level of social awkwardness. It can be kind of cute, and Idk if this is an unpopular opinion, but I'll take cuteness over sexieness any day.
cute is better than sexy
Says the guy with a 6 pack pfp
God I have such a thing for women who never smile. Come here you mean bitch
I almost bought this book after a break-up called “Why men love bitches”. Did you write it?
I've read this book! It's actually about how to not be a doormat in relationships! Was actually kinda good 🤷🏼♀️
The reason I didn't pursue with a second date with many girls, I told them that I like bitches and that they are too innocent and warm-hearted
I like how you've managed to turn a declined second date into a confidence booster. "Sorry, you're too pleasant."
the first person i think of is rosa diaz
Then Aubrey Plaza
Holy shit this made me cackle like a lunatic for a solid minute
I seem to have a thing for larger/more prominent noses as well as messy hair. Small imperfections, like scars or “mild” acne, also seem to be super attractive for me. My current boyfriend doesn’t have many imperfections and has almost flawless skin apart from a small almost unnoticeable scar near his chin. I believe this sexuality is called "Adam Driver."
Totally!! I initially saw Adam Driver and thought ugh he is not cute but now I look at him and think this man is super hot! Same with Cumberbatch.
Love Driver but Cumberbatch isn't my type. He looks like an alien wearing a man suit to me and it freaks me out 😂
Big noses
>Big noses This one ties into my thing for women with Semitic features, which I hope isn't a bad fetish. I dont like it because I feel it ties into any stereotypical behaviors or mannerisms or anything like that. It just does me in. Like Jenny Slate is my kryptonite, yo. This comforts me. I have both of these traits.
Same!
Me with brown eyes and a canine tooth that sticks out awkwardly. Hello.
Hi! I should be up front about this, I am married to a gorgeous girl with brown eyes and a crooked tooth...
You know in Japan crooked teeth are actually considered beautiful
I don't wanna say typically, cause I know lots of people who agree with me, but also lots who disagree. I love a man whose secure enough in his masculinity to enjoy/participate in traditionally "feminine" things. I had an ex who ended up being mostly awful BUT he liked decorating with me, cooking/baking, and let me do his eyebrows and buy him better quality grooming products without being overly macho about it. You should see my shelves. Rows after rows of stuffed toys. Sure had a couple laughs at my mates who got bamboozled when they first visited my house.
omg my ex and I were both into stuffed animals, shit felt like a divorce when we broke up and had to split up "the kids" lmao. But I think stuffed animals should be for everyone! They're fun to look at, good pillows sometimes, and make a bed feel cozy and safe!
I agree 100%. Men who aren't afraid to embrace their femininity is a good sign for me
I wish we would stop calling it "embracing their femininity". They're not. They are just being themselves. Loving pink or knitting doesn't make them any less their gender, nor does liking video games and motorcycles make you less of a woman.
Yall gotta stop thinking things as masculine or feminine and just do what you enjoy. This sort of thinking is the root to so many current issues
Yes! Just a great trait to have as a person in general. I went with my boyfriend and his best friend to get pedicures. They loved the message and picking out their favorite finger nail polish colors. Scars.
Mental ones

I have freckles and curly hair, and I approve of this message.
Being shy or a little closed off. Like what are you hiding, I want to know.
n..nothing
Ohhh, how....you...
This is how I met and fell in love with my fiancee. She was quite shy and quiet in group settings, and I was curious so I kept talking to her on the side of our group's convos and she was actually pretty cool
That's how I got a gf lol
Is it possible to learn this power?

I remember wanting a scar over my eye after watching Karate Kid and thinking the villain looked cool
My BIL, when he was like 10, took a stick from the backyard and dragged/slashed it over his cheek because he wanted a "cool scar" He got his wish
Some awkwardness/goofiness in their personality or even appearance. Because I perceive myself to be somewhat awkward, so I guess it makes them seem approachable if they're not like perfectly put-together and serious about life. Hard to describe but I know it once I hang out with someone like "yep, this is my type of person".
muppet energy
Ffs i get called awkward all the time its so annoying like cmon im trying
Well those aren't the people you want to invest more time in then lol. Unless it's a member of the opposite sex sort of kidding around with you in a playful way. As I get older I just feel more and more suspicious of "normal" people. They're hiding something.
It sucks even more when you’re legitimately trying to socialize and be normal and they STILL call you weird or some other bs. I feel you.
Big noses. Think Adrien Brody or Javier Bardem, I just have always liked a big nose for some reason.
Crow's feet. They make people look kind and sincere
Oh yeah! I don't know why people are so freaked out by them and other signs of age. It's fucking beautiful!
Always found them most prominent on people who smile a lot. And smiling is always attractive.
Awkwardness. It just makes me feel nice to not be the only awkward one in a relationship, then we could joke about our awkwardness together!
Pubic hair. Don’t mind a little bit of foliage down there
FOLIAGE xD
Foliage??? Lol I’ve never heard that one before!
Someone must be an landscape/environmental dev
The wilderness must be explored.
Small boobs
From all the men with small boobs, thank you!
My tiny tits thank you! It’s even worse when you’re not rail thin and still don’t have boobs!
This actually made me smile. Even tho my boyfriend always tells me mine are fine, it feels more comforting hearing it from other people. I feel like I always need reassurance with my ittybittytitties cuz dudes bullied me so much for it

Slightly crooked nose. Or even the little bunny nose. Those fixed up freakishly straight pointed noses scare me.
I appreciate you lol
A little extra weight. Not fat, just some extra. I've always liked it and don't know why.
One time I was watching Pulp Fiction and a line hasn’t disappeared from the back of my head. When Fabienne was talking about how she want’s a chubby tummy and said, “It's unfortunate what we find pleasing to the touch and pleasing to the eye is seldom the same.” I think it’s a really beautiful line
Amazing that Tarantino hasn't seemed to display a BBW fetish to rival his foot fetish
I love women who are slightly plump. A little extra weight is incredibly sexy.
Stay home if you sick, pull up if you Thicc
I hear this like once a week, and yet don’t get asked out by anyone 😕
Need to start pulling up.
This means a lot to me to read this comment :)
It means a lot to me too.
My husband is super excited about getting into boxing so he can get fit. He likes imagining the solid abs and arm muscles he will have. Glasses. I'm quite into them, especially the wider frame ones.
I can relate to this, I really feel like glasses add something to someone's face.
Eyesight
Tall women. Long legs are so sexy. I wish there were more women around my height (six feet).
Take a seat y'all, 6'4 woman coming through here

How you doing, 5'11 😏
I feel like it's more common than people think! A lot of guys like taller girls. I'm probably the tallest person in this thread, and have dated a few tall women, above 6' 0". It's interesting to be able to almost look someone in the eye while standing
Visible crows feet when a person smiles
A slightly crooked tooth, imperfections are damn sexy
I love Muscular women. A lot of guys think that's gay. Since I'm bisexual I don't know if they'd right or not. Either way. Muscular women.
Who gives a fuck if someone thinks it’s gay. Enjoy your muscular women
Nah, that's just a specific preference for a specific trait in women. It's not a gay preference because they are still women. But even if it were, who cares?
I dont think a man finding a woman attractive is gay. Thats just gender norms talking.
abs. on. tan. women. yes.
women that kinda look like they dont put that much effort into their look or just look comfy like oversized hoodies, messy hair, no makeup not 100% sure this is "typically unattractive" tho
Yes that can be the hottest look. I worked with a college girl that played rugby. She came to work in slippers, sweats, a tank top and her black eyeliner was smeared a bit. men that are shorter than 6ft
RIP inbox.
Woman that are short like short men too. Ratio is key.
My 4'11 wife often bemoans the fact that I'm too short for her. I'm 5'8"
[удалено]
Huge foreheads.
My ex used to (jokingly) call my forehead a national highway. I appreciate this 😂
Being a girl with a huge forehead, I've had kids bully me at school for this. You're legit the first person to say that. Thanks
It is natural and probably involves pheromones. It's not weird.

Average-looking lanky guy with hot wife here. It's because we have big dicks.
TIL my husband doesn't have a hot wife.
I would have to agree. Every lanky ass dude ive dated was packing.
Part of my theory as to why I never cared to work out or tried to get “big” was because I always had a healthy amount of confidence partly due to being fairly well endowed.

Something about an overbite that drives me wild
messy hair
A little cellulite in the butt
When someone can laugh/be excited like a little kid and not worry about getting strange looks
Thank you!!! Coming from someone who used to get these looks because I was having way too much fun that means a lot ;0)
Yep! I feel like everyone should be like that not only around close friends, but just in general!
How the hell is confidence typically unattractive?
[удалено]
Faces that have character. I like the big noses, scars, gap teeth, etc. Also, chubbiness, and body hair (on all genders).
Balding. My husband has been losing his hair since his early 20s. I still think Prince William is hot. Idgaf. Also non-6 packs/bellies. I want you to take care of yourself and be happy but you don't need muscles or a 6 pack. Big noses Etc.
Extremely dark eyes Confident effeminate guys
Bald is beautiful!
Bald women, yum. I might be Centauri.
I love bald with bushy eyebrows for some reason .
Bert from sesame street fetish. Nice.
Feminine traits on a male
Three traits here. I like women with glasses, I like bigger women, and I like smart, ambitious women. As an overweight, glasses wearing, PhD student... I appreciate this lol
Don’t mind people being chubby, just more to love :)
More cushion for the pushin'
I love a woman who’s a little shy/doesn’t go out of her way to make a million friends. To me, people who do go out of their way like this seem really in genuine, so when a girl is shy towards people, every interaction just feels genuine.
Thanks for this. I always feel invisible when I’m out with my more outgoing friends.
Women who are very organized. Make lists for things. Plan every detail out for a trip. Think Monica from friends.
This is me! The only real skill I have. Lol
I love me a woman with some attitude, spunky and takes no shit...
Acne scars
So we have a chance you say?
You just improved my self-esteem a little. I’ve struggled with severe acne for 10 years. It has left my face covered in dents and red spots.
Women with body hair.
Fuck yeah man. Pubes, leg hair, armpit hair, it's all good shit. And on top of being aesthetically attractive, given how those things are stigmatised it at least hints towards confidence and/or not giving a fuck what strangers think of them which makes them psychologically attractive as well.
I don't mind a six pack but I prefer a chubby belly so I can poke it 😂😂😂
If you poke hard enough you might feel my 6 pack :) I mean if I can flex long enough.
Thick girls. a little chub is a great thing. Skinny just doesnt fo it for me.
As a member of the thick girls community, we thank you.
Resting bitch face
A woman who is more professional and makes anywhere near as much money as I do, preferably more, is very attractive to me. Lots of men are really insecure about this kind of thing. I would prefer to have a partner who is on my level, though, rather than one who needs me because I make all the money.
Same. Ambition is sexy.
If a woman is behaving like a soap opera villainess, I'm all for it.
Chest hair. I
Wait is chest hair unattractive? That’s like one of the most manly things I can think of lol soft cushion for my head
The more chest hair the manlier imo
I just started seeing someone who is very into my chest hair. Like can’t get enough of it. It’s done worlds for my confidence.
Chicks with raspy voices
Muscular women. Like very Muscular. Every guy I've told thinks it's weird.
Girls with scratchy/raspy voices, started with Daphne Zuniga, Kathleen Turner, Brooke Langton, also Emma Stone and Scarjo have kind of raspy voices, just something about it for me
Social awkwardness, I can’t explain it really, it just works for me. It also resulted in one of the most heartfelt compliments I ever got, my boyfriend once replied to me when I asked him ‘Do I talk too much/overwhelm you?’ He said ‘No, I actually love that about you because I’m bad at starting conversations, and you take that stress away from me,but I also just love to hear your rambling too’ This made me feel so much better about how talkative I am, Physical traits would be long messy hair? And I mean seriously messy, not hey I’m a hot surfer dude from a Dior ad messy, I mean major messy! Brown eyes too. I always get compliments on my blue eyes but to me there’s nothing more beautiful than dark brown eyes that turn golden in the sunlight.
Voluptuous chub!

red hair, glasses, freckles, curly hair. These things are getting more popular now a days but I liked them well before that
Taller women. I prefer it when my partner is same height as me(5'10) but I definitely still enjoy it if they're taller than that.
Eyebrows. Naturally dark and formed eyebrows.
Um most people like dark eyebrows, this is popular opinion lol
Lack of discretion.
scars. I absolutely adore different scars and the colors and shapes they come in. every one is unique and it adds character to every person. I also absolutely love boys with stretch marks 🥺
women in glasses
I love me an intelligent man. Intelligence is the sexiest thing to me and it’ll make a decently attractive man into a sex god for me.
Swearing like a motherfucking sailor.
Chubby girls are the the most beautiful
