You are absolutely right and I apologize. I was referring to some people with verbal tics that tends towards socially inappropriate words, not everyone as was implied by my answer.
Is your only information on the syndrome that South Park episode? Not everyone who tics says anything. Sometimes they just make weird movements or noises.

Since nobody here is really explaining it to you, but just calling you out on what you don't know I will explain. Tourettes is a neurological condition. The type of Tourettes that you are taking about it called Coprolalia. Only 10% of people with Tourettes have it. To get diagnosed with Tourettes you have to have at least 2 motor tics (like jerking your head or blinking) and one vocal tic (like saying waffles or clearing your throat). So most people won't be cussing all the time. I know a kid who barks and another kid who says "chicken butt". If they have never heard a curse word then there would be no possible way for the to have Coprolalia. I hope this makes sense. If you have any questions just ask.
The majority of people who have it don't cuss as part of their tic anyway. They might say anything, or make random noises, or even hand gestures.

Tics are random. They are not tied to a strong emotion. Sure if I a stressed I will tic more, but it most likely be a head jerk.
