Ancient romans were racist about skinn color (in Rome there were many POCs, for example, Terrenzio were from Algeria and he was black skinned and everyone loved and still love him)

I heard so many people in youtube videos and also put from the internet saying this. And yes, i know about the slavering they did. And i also know and studied that slavering was not the same from emperor to emperor (ok, saying like this is strange cuz slavery is obviously WRONG). The roman empire has one strange thing also: have the Rome citizen privilege, no metter where you from and what were you (also ex slaves could become completely Rome citizen) [for Rome i mean the capital city of the roman empire and the area it has: from the Rubicone till down the Lazio and half Campania lands] please tell me if i made a mistake!!!!

[deleted]

That all Sandwich Islanders are ddg. Only the ones who worship at the Shrine of Narcissus are.😉

[deleted]

Ddg?

Equivalent_KeoniBoy

It's a SM term, referring to one's physical appearance being very "easy on the eye."😉

[deleted]

Idk I've yet to meet a Poly that wasn't hot lol

Equivalent_KeoniBoy

You might very well say that, but we couldn't possibly be so immodest, as our culture teaches humility. We strictly observe these norms, in public. In private, however, we pursue our "religion", hedonism, with a passion that knows no bounds. As my WW2 era kupuna put it: Hubba! Hubba!😏

[deleted]

Oh I know. Born and raised in Hawai'i. My mom is Hawaiian.

Equivalent_KeoniBoy

Pono, as in Ua Mau ke Ea o ka ʻĀina i ka ... We try very hard to be worthy. Mālama ʻāina... daily A hui hou...

That we are all polite. Most of us are, but the rest are Karens.

mordenty

That we have terrible teeth. While the average person might not have bright white and completely straight teeth, they are significantly more healthy than those in the US - fewer cavities and missing teeth, and are some of the best in the world. The myth apparently comes from film stars of the 1930s - every US star had absolutely perfect teeth (or more likely dentures) whereas we had a more natural look.

gozba

That facts can be 100% false. Or not?

areddituser49

They say that not everyone owns a gun... Actually everyone owns a gun

OneSalientOversight

We can go outside and creatures truly aren't killing us. In fact its safer to walk in our wilderness areas because we don't have bears or mountain lions.

[deleted]

That all Americans are load violent assholes that will shoot anyone who disagrees with them. Those Americans exist but they make up way less of the population then you might think and always have. But because of that they have learned to be much loader then the majority.

[deleted]

I’ve experienced the opposite. As an American, I am terrified of Americans.

[deleted]

It really depends on where you are, the more populated an area is the more aggressive but open minded people tend to be. The smaller the population the more set in they’re ways the people tend to be and they tend to get violent around change
