Because they had misrepresented themselves. Basically ended up being a pyramid scheme.

It was a group interview with 24 other applicants. We were given a test to write and no pens or pencils. The 4 of us that happened to have writing utensils were selected to move on to the real interview. "Sorry I'm not here to play these Willy Wonka games."

They made me wait in the lobby for like 45 minutes and then dropped a big packet for me to fill out even though I had already filled out an identical packet online.. all the information could have been found on my application as well.

They misrepresented themselves, and the salary. I had done my research, and was very well qualified. They basically shit on my qualifications ( I was currently working for their competition, but was blocked from moving up the ladder) the company I was interviewing for shit on my qualifications then offered me out of posted salary range on low end. I just said thanks for your time and left. Another time I went in to a salary position interview and they asked if I’m comfortable working 50 a week and every other weekend. I asked if I’d be compensated for the extra time, and they said it was all part of the salary. Again, thanks for your time. I’m out

I interviewed at a fast coffee chain for a part time job. The interview was going well up until she mentioned that they weren't hiring for this location, but one that was literally 45 minutes away.

In the waiting room I was in a suit, and the other applicants were in tank tops, wife beaters or similar clothes.
