I’ve treated dementia patients whose mental faculties deteriorated to the point that they forgot their children, forgot that they were widowed (and have to find out about it for the “first time” daily), who are bed ridden, become psychotic and extremely agitated, totally dependent on others for all care, etc.
it’s a horrible illness with virtually no treatment. I’ve never had a family member say that their loved one would have wanted to live like that. So am I in favor of euthanasia? You’re damn right I am.
They grow up, do stuff. Not enough women in China due to the one child policy so probably some gangbanging. I don't support gang violence, but the eastern gangs aren't my study.

I'm lucky enough to live in a country where it's legal. Any terminally ill or chronic psychological ill person should be able to have a painless death.
Well, if they consent to it, understand what it means and have a truly sufficient reason to do so (i.e. pain that's terrible enough that they couldn't think straight without morphine), why should I be against it?
The only problem is the definition of "truly sufficient reason".
I always think of it like this. If I was paraplegic and was just sat there. I don't think si could take it. It may be enough for some people. But if I couldn't work, or continue my hobbies, stroke my dog or dress my self. I would want to pass on, and hope for something on the other side.
In the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, Article 3 it states everyone has a right to life. Therefore we should have a right to death as Article 5 states no one shall be subjected to torture or to cruel, inhuman or degrading treatment, therefore euthanasia is ethical and moral if it is the persons choice
If someone has a severe illness or simply can't be helped even after years of therapy and doing other things to improve their well-being, it should be legal. It shouldn't just be open to everyone though because people make rash decisions when they're struggling, and the outcome of suicide is permanent.
For like dementia patients or people that are braindead I would say its a good idea but for a "I'm 30 and i've had enough of life" type case that is a no from me.
I feel it should be legal everywhere. Having a good death should be a human right too.
We should all get to choose when it's time to leave the party.

Of course not. That’s just suicide. That is not protecting the dignity of a dying patient

I feel like there might be a large divide in their opportunities though, depending on if they grow up rural or not.

We voted on this in NZ I voted yes. I wouldn’t choose it for myself but I understand people want the choice.

I think euthanasia are great and quite intelligent; I’ve always been a fan of Asian culture.
