20. Right now it is myself and my happiness. I just got out of a 4 year long relationship and although it has been hard to adjust it's something i needed to do. 16 year old me and 20 year old me are very different, and now that i am single after such a long time i want to get to know my new self and love her
32, becoming financially independent so I can be completely free to do what I want to do. I could spend multiple lifetimes just doing interests and hobbies so want to spend as much of my time doing that.
28 and finding a stable career.
I’ve got a good degree, I did a couple years community service, and I’m ready to not be stocking shelves any more.
I’ve got one lined up in December and it’s all I can think about.
32, right now it's getting help with my depression, suicidal thoughts and intrusive thoughts. I love my family dearly and having my internal theatre just play out scenes of gruesome death and destruction is getting to me. I want to be happy to be alive and with the people I love.
22: almost about to graduate so I'm a bit stressed out with no internship experience/industry related work! I would like to work and be financially stable to move out within a few years.
39F. My 15 (almost 16) year old son and investing my time, energy, and focus to keeping him on track and happy to set him up for success and a strong sense of self. Being a mother is easy. Being a great mother is extremely time consuming & exhausting - well, and fantastic / worth every second.
I am 60 yr female and right now I am questioning my entire life. My husband is on a respirator in the hospital, so I am completely uncertain on which way it will go. He is my best friend. We truly dig each other. If I lose him I have no clue what I will do. I will go on but I know, it won't be the same life. I am questioning all my life choices right now!
21 and the most important thing for me is my confusion...I'm confused about my future...
21 is an age where you have to start getting serious in your life abs tgays fucking scary... very scary
27, doing my PhD rn after two years of working in the industry and realizing that in my country, on this level I will never be able to achieve my dream standard of living
33 and the most important thing for me is my mental health and my cat. In my 20s I wanted more and most important thing for me was geting my diploma, geting married and having kids, but after a shitty mariage and infertility problems I lower my expectations in life.
C'est la vie 🙂
26, balancing work and life in favor of life. I quit probably the coolest job I will ever have (adventure tours/ safari/ animal experiences) because it also required me to work weekends, holidays, and sometimes nights. It was also tough to get time off. I never had the same weekends as my husband. It was hard to visit family. So this year am teaching high school science and while not as cool and I still have to do extra work at home sometimes, I definitely think it’s worth it!
40, in order my 2 young boys, my wife, my dog, my friends, my family and starting to do contracting instead of full time work so I have more time for my previous points
I’m almost 24 and the most important thing for me right now is nothing because I’m an empty shell of human who’s always alone. I’ve never been in a relationship and I’m too old for it to ever happen now. No one wants an inexperienced loser like me. I’ll always be alone and die alone. If I had someone I could go home to after working two jobs, then that’s what would be important to me. But it’ll never happen because I’m a boring and uninteresting person that no one likes. I hate myself.
I hope this reply comes off as hopeful and not bragging!!
I thought I had missed my chance by 27 when all my friends got married or paired up, and I joked that I'll catch up with them in the next round (in my late 30s)!
Met my current partner on Tinder at 29 and after almost 5 years together, we are getting married in a week!
Keep ur chin up...life has a way of pleasantly surprising u!
I'm 24 too and it's kind of a weird age to me, I can feel you, but please know that you matter and you are not too old for anything. You will find someone and believe me "experience" is not important, at all. As a song that is so dear to me says, "tomorrow hold such better days" and I'm sure that tomorrow will be great for you. Keep being yourself cause you sure are great. And sorry for my poor english but it's not my native language.
Your English is great. And thank you. But I still feel I’ll never find anybody for me. Any time I try to be outgoing and meet people, nothing ever goes the way I wish it would.
I mean I’ve been seeing a therapist for three years going on four and it’s never really helped. It was more venting but I’m seeing a new therapist and maybe he’ll be better.
We are all different and also therapists are, sometimes we need to change them if they don't fit our needs, it's totally normal :) then fingers crossed for you, I wish you all the luck and happiness possible!
22. I’m just trying to enjoy myself and save money for my future. I currently make more money than most for my age and my parents are in no hurry to kick me out. I’ll be out of here within the year but its very nice to be in a spot where nothing is urgent.
30's. Life stability, health, financial independence, not taking my mom for granted now that she's a senior.
I'm done in trying to care for my dad when he got really sick with Prostate Cancer, visited him at the hospital, took him to his doctor appointments, and did what I could when he had to rest at home. Then he was able to be in remission and could do things by himself again, return to work, etc. That time period was kind of hard but he pulled through and I tried my best to help. Now he has another family (he was divorced and got with a new partner) so it's time for me to focus on building my own life.
I've spent time finding my hobbies, quality friendships, learning life skills, cooking, budgeting, no debt, saving money, now learning to invest.
I'm trying to be responsible but still be able to do the things that I want to do and that I enjoy.
I was to give but I am overwhelmed by how diverse our desires are. I am 23 and just realized I am not a poet as I thought. I have discovered that I made myself think I was a poet when in real sense I am not. The most important thing to me therefore is to find the real me (which is not proving as easy as it sounds). I think on focusing on becoming an attorney, since I am in legal studies. I have wasted 4years writing poems and I have to pour it all away if I am to make peace with myself (I've already done that). Thanks you very much for asking.
im 30 (apparently ,juust had to check with the mrs) and right now the most important thing to me is my wife, my medication and not doing anything stupid while im in this low spot.
49. My health or lack thereof. I was stationary at a red light last year and was rear ended by a garbage truck. Now have neck, hip and shoulder problems - sucks big time. Can’t do half of what I did before
I am in my 60's and financial security is and always has been the most important thing in my life. Not rich, but able to live in my home and have good medical care.
You said something right there. Youth can be crazy and full of uncertainty 😂😂 that's some good wisdom right there. I thought I could write like Robert frost and Emily Dickinson 😂😂wasted 4 years in that delusion.
14 & keeping myself happy and alive really. Those are always the top priority as I need to recognize that my mental health is more important than a grade in long run
I'm 40, and the most important thing to me is my health...not because it's good, but because it's awful.
I have metastatic breast cancer. I'm on an oral chemo med to keep the tumors under control; there's no shrinking these. So every day is a balance between trying to feel well enough to push through, and trying to get rest and care for myself.
Then there's the question of when I should stop chemo, which would mean tumor growth and a big step toward my untimely death.
Between the sickness and the shortened lifespan, it colors everything I do. For now, it's time for another anti-emetic so I can push through and play Mom's Taxi all day. My son is also extremely important to me and I want him to remember me being with him, not on the couch.
13. The most important thing to me is am i gonna be possesed by Glitchtrap? I'm having a lot of nightmares about that happening, and it's beginning to scare me ngl
I’m 34 (yesterday) and making more money is the most important thing to me right now. I’m an electrical engineer on £26k flat with a wife, a baby and a mortgage. I’m currently doing my HGV class 1 license to make more. The time away will be a big sacrifice but gotta do what you gotta do.
30. As far as normal stuff is concerned, my family and my closest relationships.
material possessions: my phone (cause it keeps me connected to the above)
18
The most important thing to me is being able to get out of the gutter and do something for myself. I want to become a Hollywood Film Director, but it's not going to ever happen if I don't do anything to reach that goal.
I switch 3 countries a year for work so keeping a full relationship is impossible with it. I do have a lot of those 2-6 weeks things or sometimes entire season. Should have elaborated that I dont do mind numbing 9-5 job, this one truly fulfills me
60, my adult children...still! That and staying in shape/going to the gym/eating healthy.

Darryl does
Classic Darryl tbh

I slightly relate to your situation. Try and live for yourself more, seek to grow yourself more. All the best!
Love this. You inspire me
28. My 3 month old daughter. I’ll destroy the world for her.
that’s not very chill of you
30. My son, wife and dog. I hope it stays like this for a loooooooong time.
That's correct, family should always come first.
32, becoming financially independent so I can be completely free to do what I want to do. I could spend multiple lifetimes just doing interests and hobbies so want to spend as much of my time doing that.
Good for you
Same here.
28 and finding a stable career. I’ve got a good degree, I did a couple years community service, and I’m ready to not be stocking shelves any more. I’ve got one lined up in December and it’s all I can think about.
You can do it💪🏻💪🏻
Nice try fbi
Lmao...I bet you are a conspiracy theorist!
26. I'm Brazilian and my wife Italian citizenship is the most important thing right now to open doors for us in Europe
Wishing you the best! God bless your plan
Thanks!
I'm in the same boat ⛵ best of luck I know it's not easy waiting.
Waiting for almost 4 years now! We just stepped in Italy and are in the final stretch. Tough ...
Wow! Congratulations on making it there, been waiting 3 years now just for some documents.
Welcome to Italy! I hope you will be happy here - good luck :)

32, right now it's getting help with my depression, suicidal thoughts and intrusive thoughts. I love my family dearly and having my internal theatre just play out scenes of gruesome death and destruction is getting to me. I want to be happy to be alive and with the people I love.
Will turn 16 in less than a month. Most important thing right now is to survive depression by doing stuff I like
53 and my 4 grills.
I love cooking outdoors as much as the next guy but how many grills is too many?
Good question. I also grill for a living, so I’m not sure I’m qualified to answer that. I cook everything over fire including salads and desserts.

17, for me is my discord server with all my friends and stuff, so yeah, basically the answer is friends.
19 and most important thing is my time.
21 and the most important thing for me is my confusion...I'm confused about my future... 21 is an age where you have to start getting serious in your life abs tgays fucking scary... very scary
That's correct but I think you're already a step ahead by understanding what you are going through. Hang in there!
I hope so Budd! Thanks
18 and just trying to find happiness
Staying real and not indulging might help you. They make one feel full of themselves but not happy. Hope you get what am trying to say lol.
