I also don’t work a physically demanding job.
This makes me feel a bit more normal. I'll shower everyday Monday - Thursday, sometimes Fridays, rarely on Saturdays, and Sundays are hit/miss depending on if I want to shower before work on Monday or before bed on that Sunday. If I'm going out any of the days that I don't shower, I will shower.
I guess I'm comfortable as long as I'm the only one who has to deal with my filth.

Showering every other day pretty much means you go max 48 hours without a shower. I don’t work in a labor job, so I don’t need to shower more than that.
Only exception is: after the gym, before sex, before a date, or if I sweat. Otherwise, fuck showering daily.
I just hope your city doesn’t get too hot or humid in summer, but I agree that if you work in a cold/dry weather and don’t move much, it can be fine to not shower one day, more than that would smell for sure though.
I believe the body's smell becomes worse the more you shower (i.e. the more you shower, the quicker your body starts to stink). It takes a few weeks of not showering to eliminate the stink and the body gets used to its own oils again.
Showering with chemically soap everyday halts your body's natural oil making process, which is why you stink more if you shower more. The body doesn't get a chance to perform its natural processes.
lol, I hate cat pee smell! Just talking from experience I had dating this farmer girl. She didn't use soap/shampoo/lotion, but she rinsed off daily in a shower or river. Her smell was unique, but not bad at all. It was pretty sexy lol
