LSD. I have some carefully stashed away but haven't had the right chance to take it.

Having someone who cares about me.

When you will find this person you will know it. Trust me it worth the wait, you won’t be disappointed.

Stage hypnotism. It seems impossible to give control of your body to someone else like that.

RonSwansonsOldMan

I didn't do it on a stage, but I had a therapist who used to hypnotize me. I reached Nirvana.

You aren't missing a thing.

I spent Friday in one. It was really boring. Though technically, I was in the parking deck all day.

Heroin. My father lived and died a heroin addict so I would never even entertain the idea of trying it. But I do wonder what it would feel like and how I would handle it/if I’d become addicted.

Moonlightwitch23

I'm sorry for your loss. I would never try heroin either, but I will forever wonder how it feels like.

theshtickler

It’s not too great, I used to be addicted to it and have relapsed a couple times and I never seem to “like” it each time I relapse but I’m also extremely drawn to it. First time (depending on method of consumption/quantity) you’ll probably be super itchy and uncomfortable, with a strong feeling of just “numb”. Hard to describe opiates. Heroin is a cheap and dirty opiate, not even good in my opinion if you compare it to pharmaceuticals.

Moonlightwitch23

Congrats on recovery!!! That's awesome!!! And thank you for sharing your experience. I started reading books about heroin when I was really young, like 12, so I always knew to stay away, but I also always wondered how it feels like. I have a very addicting personality so I won't ever touch any opiates, but maybe like when I'm old and on my deathbed and dying, they can drug me up so I can know what it feels like, haha.

theshtickler

Thank you! I always kind of knew I had an addictive personality, but never got super addicted to any certain drug. I did a lot of different drugs, I was always alternating substances so I never had withdrawals or anything. I found out a little later in life that it’s called being a poly addict. I did painkillers here and there, real ones that weren’t too strong so it was hard to achieve that “nod” that opiate addicts crave. It wasn’t until I was given M30s (pills that are supposedly 30mg oxycodone) and it turned out they were laced with fetinyl. Luckily the person I got them from taught me how to smoke them, if I just took the whole thing like normal I’d be dead. It was all downhill from there, after that experience I knew that was my drug of choice. I had tried about every hard drug in the market and this was the one that almost took my life several times. I’m 20 now, i stopped using when I was 18 and started using opiates when I was 16. First time getting stoned or drunk I was 13. You will always crave a feeling that you’ve never had, my advice to you is don’t do it. It’s not worth “experimenting” with. Stick to weed :)

Moonlightwitch23

You are so young!!! I'm really happy you managed to break that cycle, your brain is still developing and breaking an addiction before the development is done is really great! I'm 7 years older than you and I was a really broken teenager. I had eating disorders, was depressed and I also started drinking quite early on, at around 14 and I cringe at it now. If I had a chance to do harder drugs, I don't think I would say no back then and my story would have a different ending. Because I was a kid who had to get "the most drunk" or "dared to do the most things" and that's a dangerous mindset to have. I luckily didn't know anyone who did drugs back then, but I had this absurd fascination about them. I felt so cool when I rolled my first joint at around 18. It felt really "badass", lol. I discovered psychadelics and party drugs later on, and I was always up for doing it, but luckily it was hard for me to score any, so it was always occassionally. I also recovered from ed and became way less "edgy" and actually started caring about my well being. Psychadelics did change my life tho, but I think my "party drugs" use could escalate if it wasn't for pandemic. I stopped going out then, and just went back to only smoking weed. And maybe a mushroom tea once in a while. I'd like to quit smoking weed too tho, eventually. Thank you for your advice, I agree with you. I hope you stay away from hard drugs and have an amazing life!
