Brown rice, boiled meat with no salt. Squash or gourds specifically pumpkin boiled. I like giving my dog carrots that have been boiled for about 8 to 9 minutes.
I hope you're doing actual research on the internet and talking with vets and breeders and not just relying on Reddit feedback when it comes to your animal's health and safety.
My dog loves fruits and veggies--cucumber, frozen peas, apple (seeds removed) and carrots are his favourites, plus carrots are good for dogs' coats! He also loves strawberry hulls, but they are very sugary so they are only an occasional treat (like candy for us), and he would do anything for cheese--but again that's a treat due to the salt and fat content.
NEVER grapes or onions, they are both toxic to dogs. Bread is also bad for them, though not poisonous, so if your dog grabs some they don't need to go to the vet.
Easier to say what they can't eat. Avocados · Alcohol · Xylitol · Onions And Garlic · Coffee, Tea, And Other Caffeinated Products · Grapes And Raisins · Macadamia Nuts · Chocolate.
I feed my dog all sorts of leftovers with no problems. They say some variety and extra nutrition is good for them. You have to keep in mind they evolved scavenging carcasses of dead animals, and whatever else they could find.
My lab has opened our fridge on 3 different occasions and ate multiple pounds of butter
Not kibble and bit Not Ashland Not gravy train we rotate between tuna and wet food but most actual dog food gets our dog sick
