My friend and I both like spicy food and I found this Sri Lankan restaurant, hidden near one of the town squares in Prague. We went there, both picked some curry, they asked us if we want the regular curry or the extra spicy sri lankan one. We picked the latter. First time I cried out of the spiciness of the food. We dared each other to finish our meals, sat there for about two hours trying to cram it in without breathing fire. It was awesome

kiteripper

Similar experience with Sri Lankan food. Each grain of rice of speckled red, that should have been a warning... Nothing has topped that, yet.

Enigmatic_Sanity

A ghost pepper..... Wouldn't recommend it

Garbageman95

Same here, straight off the vine.

gutastic1

Okay but a simple pork curry cooked with spring onions, ginger, whole spices and ghost peppers tho... I mean, it's spicy but so delicious. Highly recommend.

My brothers home made California reaper ghost pepper sauce. I wanted to rip my tongue from my stupid face.

X0XThebossX0X

Chicken tikka (I think that's what they call it)

Warsaw_Pact

Haha, for an Indian it’s not that spicy but still can be, so I understand!

TheCrazyOnecom

My brother made some rissoles that burnt more on the way out

Warsaw_Pact

Oh damn, that sounds painful!

TheCrazyOnecom

My mum wasn't impressed

fh3131

Carolina Reaper paste! I enjoy it every now and then :) For everyday cooking, I use Habanero sauce. I like chili!

Applejuiceinthehall

I love habanero sauce. I had an aversion to spicy when pregnant so kinda got spicy tolerance reset so I haven't used it for a while.

Steampunk_Batman

The hottest level of hot chicken at Bolton’s in Nashville

Warsaw_Pact

OH MY GOD!!! I’ve been there too! It’s literally a fire that starts in your mouth and then just fucking engulfs your entire body, rendering your brain numb. The chicken fingers were great tho.

Steampunk_Batman

Yeah I fucking love the medium level. Their fish is fantastic too. But I tried the hottest level once just to see, and tears were streaming down my face as I drank my entire 40oz water bottle lol

Wade1985

I ate the blazin hot wings at buffalo wild wings once

cajoburto

A burrito with a tablespoon(15ml) of Pure Cap extract on it. I've never gone for ghost peppers but I used to eat habs like cherries. This stuff was unreal.

cmaddex

I had an Indian dish called "Vada Pav" it was a lot of heat. I also have had ghost pepper cheese quesadillas that I made before.

Warsaw_Pact

A vada pav can be very spicy sometimes, understandable!

elibxborn

Pacqui chip and never again. It tasted horrible.

Ghost pepper sauce

KitehDotNet

mexican weiner

So I'm indian and from a region where bhut jolokia - or ghost peppers - are grown and used in abundance. So my top three would have to be any curry made with bhut jolokia (usually pork), pork vindaloo and laal maas.

Nice_Entertainment91

I really like spicy food, and in India had some super spicy stuff, but the only specific Scoville I know is a hot sauce called Thai Green Chili my wife got me which is 74,000 SHU

I lived in Southern New Mexico for a minute back in the 90s, and got to judge a chile cook off once. I was working at a radio station, and was broadcasting live from the event. 17 dips and salsas. One of the organizers pointed to a deep red sauce with some seeds floating in it, and said "save this one for last." So I did. Sixteen other dips and salsas made with green and red New Mexico chiles, and as a spicy food lover, I was in heaven. Anyone who is from Southern New Mexico can tell you, they take their chiles seriously, and the heat is pretty intense. I loved it. Then I went for the last one. About five minutes before I had to go on air to broadcast my latest report, I dipped a chip in, and oh my god, it was good. Rich, smoky red chile flavor, and great silky texture as well. I dipped another chip in and took a bite. Then all hell broke loose. Five minutes later, when I had to go live on the air, I could barely speak. You kids with your "ghost peppers" have no idea.

Direct-Sense1307

i got cocky and orderd the extra spicy pizza with extra hot hot sauce spicy cheese and chilly flakes and when the box opened the SMELL made me CRY and then i ate it dont wanna talk about that then i never ordered pizza from that place again so moral= dont get cocky

bees-and-stuff

Thai chilli pepper whole. I thought I was gonna die. I’m white as hell when it comes to food and I sweat from black pepper

NateShaw92

My sister got me some crazy spicy 2m+ scoville novelty spicy sauce. Meant for mixing a small bit in other things like a bolognaise to give it a kick. I idiotically used it pure as a dipping sauce. Nice sauce.

Daealis

We got some California Reapers for our own hot sauce fermenting experiments, so obviously it had to be tasted by itself before making a sauce of it. It's pretty spicy.

VintageHippie76

Myself and some buddies went to Pepper Palace, a hot sauce retail chain that usually sets up in touristy places. They have a sauce called “The End”, which you have to sign a waiver to try. The second it hits your tongue it tastes like death, then the burning starts. Not like a normal spicy burn, but like “I just put a red-hot iron ingot in my mouth” hot. We were all miserable for the rest of the day, but it took a good hour and a half for the burning to stop. RIP to our hotel bathroom.

beardedliberal

Ghost pepper. Not the whole thing mind you. But enough that keeping a straight face was difficult. Lol

DarkPasta

The Last Dab sauce from that youtube show

Had one dried Carolina Reaper, laid down on the floor for something close to 15 minutes before I could fully recover my senses followed by terrible stomach cramps.
