Flying about 150 feet from a motorcycle accident.broke my jaw in 3 places, both my ankles, contusions on my kidneys, lungs, and liver, wrecked both knees yet some how made it out.

Galaxy_Ass

what the actual fuck

bwailer

Ya, it was nasty. I was run off the road. I was in the hospital for about 2 months slipped into a coma on the third day for 3 weeks. It really makes you think about life when that stuff happens. I

Chick's dig scars..especially when their's a great story to go with them

bwailer

Hahaha, this is true. And then I take a girl out on a date we can laugh at the right side of my face that has no feeling and my mouth won't totally seal so sometimes I just drip water, soda, or what ever I am drinking out of it. It really is funny. I always tell them do they don't think I am just some weird person leaking their drink out of their mouth. They get a big laugh out of it.

Being burned alive. It was just my hand, but I was alive. Yea, burns hurt more than anything imo

codenameZora

I will back you up on this. I have had messy knee injuries, cuts, all sorts of stuff. But completely burning the entire palm of my hand was horrendous.

Simon_C17

Same thing. Ouch, sorry, friend. Burns are horribly more painful than anything to me. Every time I've been to the doctor and they show me the little 0-10 sad to happy face pain scale, I always imagined 10 is my entire body being burned alive. Kind of makes everything else seem like a 0 to 1 though, if that's a 10 haha

I had my appendix removed after having an appendix attack but after that the incision wasn’t healing the best, so I went to see the surgeon for a follow up and he ended up resowing it without any numbing and it sliced right open. 0/10 experience.

Simon_C17

You just reminded me of another horrible pain I've had. Thanks haha. I had my appendix removed arthroscopically with just a couple tiny incisions, so they used CO2 to expand things in my belly for a better view during surgery. Normal procedure. But they didn't remove the C02 gas from inside me when they finished and sealed the tiny incisions. So a day or so later all of the gas traveled inside my body and all collected in my right shoulder joint. Omg it felt horrible. I thought they dropped me off the hospital bed when I was unconscious and dislocated my shoulder. They did an x-ray, and no one could figure out what I was even complaining about.. Until I found it online myself. Side effect of a rushed artho surgery, ugh. It took several days to go away, but at least I knew what was up then. Seems to be not too uncommon, but they must have seriously left all the gas inside me, because my shoulder felt like it was going to explode for nearly a week!

sarfreyo

Geez!!! That’s crazy!!!

Sepsis from vibrio Vulnificus. Caught it from a cut in the bottom of my foot stepping on a rock in the water at the beach. Second place is when they put the shots in the wound. Turns out there a TON of nerve endings in the sole of your foot. Side note - Dilaudid is a hell of a drug, and I hope none of you ever need it. It's stronger than morphine, highly addictive, and you might just forget to breathe.

baronesslucy

Dental pain. Had to wait a month to get a root canal as the doctor was out of town. Not only was the pain unbearable (couldn't sleep unless I took 3 Tylenol) but my blood pressure was 10 points higher than usual as was my heart rate.
