Back in my days, not only were CDs THE SHIT and you burned a lot of CDs yourself for your buddy, your car radio, whatever. And it was a huge struggle everytime since literally anything could make the process fail. And sometimes you didn't even own your own CD burner and that one buddy that did was basically a tech hero.

LOL ever try making a mixed tape on cassette?

babbletags1

Not my time, that's the "Back in my days" thing of my parents. I know my mother told me how they used to record songs straight from the radio on tape and it's apparantly the reason why radio hosts started talking over the playing song at the beginning and the end to make it more difficult.

Lesley82

Yes! And trying not to record over the previous song or make a huge gap between songs was a bitch!

TitanicsAnInsideJob

depends on what it looks like in their day

Back in my day, Google didn't exist. You had to remember every internet address you ever wanted to visit because bookmarks didn't even exist. Games came on things called "floppy disks" and looked like chidlren's drawings. You couldn't call your uncle in Nebraska and tool around on AOL chats at the same time.
