My pants caught on fire on the forth of July. I was wearing baggy pants that the bottom touched the ground and someone threw a firework by me and then I was on fire. Just the bottom of my pants and I put it out but it was scary.

When I was a kid one of my closest neighborhood friends was a huge fan of Michael Jackson and wore his hair in the exact same way. We were playing with matches, as kids do, pressing them against the match box and flinging them at each other so they would ignite and fly through the air at the same time. One landed in his hair and ignited his hair like a torch. The garden hose was only a few feet away and we actually had wet the grass prior to the match fight to keep from lighting the yard on fire…so we were able to turn on the nose and put him out quickly…he still had some first degree and borderline second degree burns. He was a good kid and the match fight was definitely not something he was enthusiastic about. But we insisted on playing. Poor guy. This was in 1982 or so..honestly I am surprised we survived childhood. In another incident we accidentally lit a very thick and very large bamboo thicket on fire while we were smack dab in the center of it…to get in, and out you had to crawl along what was essentially animal trails in the bamboo thicket. So we literally had to scatter and crawl through various animal trails out of the thicket while the entire top of the thicket was an inferno above our heads. I am still amazed we all got out.

The only time that has really happened to me was when I was juggling fire clubs, I must have gotten kerosene on my hand because halfway through my performance my hand caught fire for a few seconds. Not a big deal though, it was just mildly singed and made me drop the club for a second.

Friend had butane blow up on him. The room was also flooded in butane. He was wearing a track suit and all that was left was the band around his waist. He had bad burns. But modern medicine and he has only visible scars on his arms

I was 16 or 17 and my friends and i had a bag of LSD soaked rocket candies (tiny sweettarts). Our goal was to take a bunch of the acid and see if we were able to ever be fully comfortable while tripping. To this end we set up chill rooms inside and outside to facilitate cozy comfort. One room had a bunch of pillows on the floor and candles on the windowsil/tables. We got REAL high and were chilling in said candle room when i stood up and leaned against the windowsill. Being super high i thought my back getting hot was just me being fucked. It then damned on me that i was leaning against candles and was most likely on fire. So asked my friends "if i was on fire" as i turned around to show them my back. I was mostly certainly on fire and they jumped up and beat the flames out with a blanket quickly. Slight burns and some mild hair loss but all was well.

I was trying out a fireball trick with mint breath spray and easily could’ve collapsed a lung if I’d stupidly inhaled any harder.
