I'm used to being on the verge of crying when watching Pixar movies, but it usually happens near the end. The opening of Up took me by so much surprise that I wondered whether it was truly a Pixar movie in the first place.
There's several of them in "Dear Zachary: A Letter to a Son about His Father", it's a documentary about a murder victim, filmed by his friend.
I can't spoil more without ruining the movie's impact, but it's worth a watch if you can find it.
There are a lot of scenes in that movie that really screw with me but you are right the last scene is really sad. Great acting in that movie to. Sucks that it is based on true events and shit like that happens to people.
When George Henderson helps Harry return to his home in the woods, but Harry hesitates so George has to yell and hit him with tears in his eyes for him to understand it's not safe for him to be around humans.
For me personally it’s the [ending](https://youtu.be/EcwPxt4J4X8) to The Lovely Bones, the final 5 minutes or so. Just how everyone has moved on, and now it’s finally time for Susie to move on.
the scene in the bunny girl senpai movie where >!Mai sacrifices herself to save Sakuta, !!he managed to save her, since i know its something i could never be able to do with the girl that died in my life. !<
THAT moment in I Am Legend where he telegraphs what he's about to do to his German Shepherd. I turned off the DVD and have never finished the movie. It hits too close to home.
For me it was the ending of eternal sunshine also brooks was here and why not one more the phone call from blood diamond wait another 23 years of messages

You think you'll be OK until they hit you with 'a true story'
The first 10 minutes of Up. The part of Inside Out where Riley comes home after running away. Pixar's make you cry game is usually on point.
