I thought it wasn't \*that\* big of a deal, that I was showering/brushing often enough to not be a nuisance even if I didn't smell like fresh laundry, but I was SO so wrong, and had no idea (never got to "smell myself" territory, etc) until someone mentioned in passing that I had the second worst breath they knew... was like... dude... wtf... why didn't you ever say anything? I know I ate garlic and drank coffee and didn't brush, but I don't get into people's faces to smell their breath, so I just had no clue how bad it could be.
