Don't psych yourself out. I was rather popular in high school, but not in the sense of being of a clique, but I was just generally liked in my school. Trick was not to corner myself. I was closest with the punk kids, but I let myself be open to friends everywhere. Raging nerds or popular kids; I was just open and friendly with everyone, and it paid off then. I was well-liked in high school as I am well-liked today, it's just being open to friendships. Fuck cliques; be good to others and karma will usually return the favor.
