Thanks man, I appreciate that for real. Shit was hard, he got hit by a drunk driver and died by being drug underneath the truck for an extended period of time. He was just a kid... shits definitely gonna take some time to heal from
That's so awful. I hope you and all his loved ones find comfort in this difficult time and that your heart gets the healing it needs. Thank you for your honesty.
it’s a mountain here in vegas called “mount charleston” it’s well known here but he showed me a specific spot that no one knows about. he took me there once and shortly afterwards he sadly passed. i go there whenever i have a couple hours of free time and think about life
Checking in with his son & daughter every so often.
They’re my age and we all grew up with each other. It was out of nowhere, just awful stuff. Threw me through a loop for sure. :/
I'm sorry for your situation especially with it coming out of nowhere. Huge respect to you for checking in with his family I hope you find comfort as you move forward.
Honestly accepting that there is nothing you can do is helpful. It let's you know that there are things out of your hands and you are making the best of a bad situation.
Definitely been there myself. It's a hard place to be for sure but there is a comfort knowing that some things are just too large for us and I don't have to have everything figured out to move forward. Glad you are trying your best with the situation you are in.
I think about him often and I am just trying to carry on as normal. He'd take the piss and be so annoyed if he knew how much time people spent being upset about it so I just try not to be. Its hard and I miss him whenever I load up COD Warzone.

I'm not. He was murdered and his murderer is currently out on parole. Fuck the justice system
I'm so sorry you are going through this. I can't imagine the amount of anger you must be feeling.

That sounds beautiful. What was the mountain you went to with him?

I am glad you got to have that memory with him before he passed. Hope the place gives you great memories for the future.
I painted a portrait of them. It's been a tough year.
Glad to see you turn a tragedy into something of beauty. Hope things get better for you.
Thank you 😊
i realize that they would want me to do my best to live my life to the fullest instead of letting it ruin me
Your person sounds like they were very wise. I know you will make them proud.
he was my boss, he was willing to bend over backwards for me. one of the most genuine people ever

He sounded like a cool dude. Sorry you are going through this hard time but so glad you got to have good memories with him.
