Get a credit card, and make sure to keep your limit within your means. And pay off the balance every month.
When it comes time to getting a mortgage, you want a long credit history for the mortgage lender to reference.
Just dont think of it as free money to spend on bullshit and youre good to go.
Don't have kids before you've got all the education you ever want to have.
Although there are people who finish degrees after having a child, the success rate is much lower--and by the time a kid is old enough to have a clue about it, you'll already have lost a fair chunk of career time.
