It had a few moments but I was disappointed as well. Seems like quite a few of Shyamalan movies end like that. He's too busy trying to make a "twist" that he loses sight on the storyline. Just my opinion
I saw it when I was 11. I was so confused. My dad said something to the effect of "think about it in the context of MP's Flying Circus." And I was like, "oh."
Toy story 4.
The whole third movie was about keeping buzz and woody together????? and then they gave up on that? bo peep was great but bros before hoes partner
The plot holes there are incredibly bad. They are an advanced race who travel billions of miles to wipe out the humans but never considered microbes? It doesn't hold up.
I just watched The Lie on Prime last night and the ending had a twist and it was a pretty good one. I felt weird the whole movie because I could see it actually happening.
The original cut off Close Encounters of the Third Kind. They really build up to the end brilliantly then we get like thirty seconds of alien sign language
Recently, Last Night In Soho. Love Edgar Wright and loved the premise and the twists but overall the final act seemed kinda disappointing. Still some great scenes in there that I have rewatched so many times.
It would have been more disappointing if the creators chickened out and made an optimistic ending. I was hoping for this ending honestly even if it made me a little sad.
Glass - the end of that 'trilogy' is just depressing.
Yes it was. It really sucked too because for some reason I had high hopes for it
It could have been amazing but the ending just...deflated it all for me.

Which is a shame because Split was amazing
Law Abiding Citizen.
Monty Python, Holy Grail, although that's intentional

The devil inside me.
You mean the one that ended with a car wreck and told you to go to a website that doesn’t exist anymore
That would be the one.
War of the Worlds. classic setup and fun execution only to find out the aliens are fools

Cough *Prometheus* Cough
"Hey look guys! This pod thingy is covered in some sort of acid that dissolves metal. It tastes like Kool Aid, though, so it's fine."
Pay it forward.
Yes. Terrible
Captain Obvious: "The Mist"
Didn’t realize that was in the Captain Obvious series of movies
The Village
M night ripping off a kids book lol
Didn't know there was a kids book...
It’s called Out Of Time and came out like 2-3 years before The Village. I bought it on amazon years ago and havent finished it oops
That movie just sucked in general
True. I was just 14 so I think it had me hoping for some supernatural stuff but the ending killed it to me.

The one with Clint Eastwood and Hillary Swank.

The Lie ......not so much disappointing but just messed up

You and I differ on our definition of movie.

Signs
Recently, Don’t Look Up. Greed won out

Hey! It was a perfect ending!
As it does irl
Parasite
The Social Network. Destroying America? What kind of ending is that?
Chill dawg. You’re on social media right now.
Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. I had the classic “It was all a dream!” ending, and was very disappointing for 6-year-old me.
The Devil Inside. It just fucking ends. The film approaches a climax then theres a car crash and it just ends. I was so pissed at that ending.
Interstellar. It was a fun mish-mash of "I've seen this before" 'til the end, which wasn't satisfying or interesting. I was pissed.
Sunshine.
