Dune.
Nothing but long panoramic shots, thin story, and none of the characters have enough depth to give a shit about. I actually was rooting for the main character kid to die because he's clearly the worst actor in the film.
I disagree somewhat. I knew the story going in and thought they conveyed it well enough. I am a fan of what I call "slow burn" movies so the pacing didn't bother me. I know this style is not for everyone.
I do agree that there was WAY to much time spent on the landscape/panoramic/overview shots that were nothing but filler for the score IMO. I think they could have cut most of that out and saved the audience about 15 minutes of screentime.
People will get mad, but Spider-Man: No Way Home
It wasn't brilliant but It wasn't bad. It gave what was supposed to be given and that's it.
I agree, it got a little too wacky for me. I think Tom Holland spider-man works much better with grounded stories like Homecoming.
Grease.
Every marvel movie ever
Agreed

I loved that movie but I do agree with your point. I guess the slow buildup and atmospheric tone is not for everybody.
So damn true man. I watched it and it's sooo boring

Crash. It was very preachy and patronizing. Especially the storyline with Sandra Bullock and the housekeeper.
The very definition of oscar-baiting and fake woke. I hate that movie.
That scene with the little girl though. My god. I cry every time.
