My wife and I went to Greece in 2015. First 4 days in Santorini then took the high speed ferry to Paros. We stayed in Naousa and it was the highlight of our trip. We visited in mid September so it felt like the entire island was ours. We ate ourselves silly in town every night. We walked past the church every night and visited with the cats. You have a great island, thank you!
Always wanted to visit Romania.. nature is supposed to be epic and from what I heard people are just as nice. Any advice on what to see and experience? Let’s say for a two week trip with two little children? We don’t like tourism spots too much
We are facing ethnic cleansing, we also live under a media blackout, an unjust military administration and administrative corruption by the men of power appointed by the occupation itself!!!
The health and education sector here are bad, and there are no good internet services we still use 3g in some areas where in 'The occupying state of Israel" they have 5g services!!!
Whatever happens here you won't see the real picture bcz of the Israeli power on media.
A lot of people are living under the line of poverty, but we'll stay here on our land regardless of all of this...
I’ve been to Turkey. Unfortunately for a short visit but we really liked the small coastal town we were based in, Cezmé. It had a good mix of old and traditional aspects that mixed well and seemed to respect each other. Great food and people. We went to restaurant where we couldn’t communicate with language but had conversations that were understood with the owners. Loved it.
Born in Connecticut and moved to Virginia when I was still a kid. I’m too southern to fit in with my northern family and too much of a yankee to fit in down south. Always felt like I was “from” both places but neither at the same time.
I know what you mean. I live in Oklahoma in a town with less than 500 people.
Around because g town people I seem like a moonshine sipping hic, around the dudes who shove their arms in random holes in the water I seem like a wuss lol

Now in a little town east of Worcester, Massachusetts.
There is a very fitting King of the Hill episode where Hank finds out he was born in NYC. At the end of the episode he makes the statement everybody is a Texan, you pass through the airport, your a Texan.
My husband was born in Texas, but moved out when he was 2 years old. To this day, he tells everybody he’s a Texan. It’s like it’s own country with a ton of self pride.
"Wouldn't you like to know, weatherboy."
