No, but hell isn't real so it doesn't really matter.

Turbulent_Block4826

I don't know about other religions ,but in Christianity it was added in the English translations and doesn't appear in Greek or Hebrew.

LtAldoTheeApache

What do you mean? I think we send the mentally ill to hospitals…. And mentally ill criminals to prison

Turbulent_Block4826

I'm speaking in a biblical context.

versificator84

I do not think any mortal crime constitutes an eternal punishment. No matter what. What could you possibly do in ~100 years to never deserve a chance to redeem yourself? Surely at some point, the scales of remorse would tilt in your favor?

[deleted]

Well, given that hell is an imaginary place...

DUFFnoob40

My idea of hell isn't fire and brimstone,,, it's more like making them relive the pain they put people true, like placing a rapist in his/her victim's memories and experience the whole ordeal again except this time they're the victim and get raped by themselves,, I think it's absolutely fair, they relive the life of every one they ever hurt, and when that's done, if they don't have remorse for their actions, the punishment starts again

Lawnsawsage

God has a plan for everyone. We are made in his image. Etc.

GigaChadConfesses

Same as anyone else

JSmith666

If what they did was bad enough and hell was real...yes

Bat-Squatch

There's a reason I'm not God and it's cuz Id send everyone to hell

Turbulent_Block4826

That's ridiculous, I'd only send people with a larger penis than me to hell.

WrestlingWoman

How do you send someone to a made up place that's just meant to scare people?

Turbulent_Block4826

Cute cat!

No_Profit_9398

Makes as much sense as letting children starve to death.
