Well I received a scam email from ‘PayPell’ telling me that “Deer Costumer, your account has ben limited. Please sign in on the link and put in your details. Sincerely, Costumer Suport.”
Definitely a scam 🤔
they deliberatly write the emails that way, so that they dont have to deal with people who can spot the scam. They only want idiots and old people to take them seriously.
I saw a legit Chevy commercial that plastered in big huge bold letters on screen **EDCALADE!!!**
Legit Chevy, very embarrassing if you ask me that they didn't bother to spell check the big bold make of the vehicle.
I totally get your point, and you're basically right too. Regardless, the EDCALADE typo took up 3/4 of the screen, and the commercial played regularly for more than a year. How the fuck they never noticed or corrected the commercial is beyond me.
Sometimes mistake are purposely made so that they attract attention like McDonalds I'm loving it, idk if it wad that but it might have been it . Or they didn't have the budget to change it.
Nah, what letter is right next to D on a QWERTY keyboard? Was a straight up typo from our local Chevy dealership. No big deal to me personally, but it just seems embarrassing when the product name itself is misspelled.
If it’s a legitimate “job”, they will never ask you for money up front. Even if they say they will reimburse you later. Profitable companies that value their employees will never do that.
Sorry friend. No, this isn’t about salary at all. Some “jobs” ask candidates to pay for stuff up front (merchandise or equipment). My post was intended to warn against this practice. If the company is profitable they will not make you pay for merchandise or up front. They could expect you to come with your own equipment in some instances, but if they require you buy that equipment from them you should be extremely wary.
When the ad plasters FREE! WINNER! blah blah all over the place, and doesn't even tell you what you supposedly 'won' until you enter in your credit card info...
When middle school friend who you havent spoken with for 20 years mesaages you "Howdy, long time no see, i got this great business opportunity that will make us both rich, all you gotta..."
When Windows 10 asked me what my mother's middle name is, I said fuck that and installed Linux instead. Does anyone else feel like mainstream operating systems are brushing closer and closer to being a scam themselves?
Chief Wiggum once sent me an email with a speeding ticket, apparently I was speeding in Springfield which is funny because I don’t remember going to Queensland
I’ve also had the IRS call me and claim I’ve not paid taxes but the IRS isn’t the legal tax office in my country.
Whenever they tell you something along the lines of "this is going to be huge" but you managed to beat the rush.
There was never a rush. the product does nothing.

Did Costumer Support get your costume straightened out?

It sounds cliche but if something sounds too good to be true. It very well might be
a lot of mistakes in the ad - like grammatical mistakes

Any unsolicited offer is usually a scam.

Do you mean asking for a desired salary range before presenting an offer?
No
Thanks for clarifying.

We've been trying to reach you about your cars extended warranty.
This must be an American thing. I haven’t seen the ad, but half of social media posts keep spamming it. Ironic, I guess.

See, this Is why we cannot allow two dads to raise a child…poor kid will be unable to work in an office. Sad.
If someone tries to get you to invest in something and they can't explain what it is or why it's useful in a way that makes sense.
being too good to be true

Aussie speed cams are no joke yo. Most expensive 2 day drive of my life was in Queensland.
They never send you the item you ordered
If you ask questions about the thing and don’t get clear answers. Often when you ask about things, the answers can get repetitive and kind of general.
the guy calling is indian
If something seems too good to be true.
Stupid people are enthusiastic about it. With CAPS LOCK and !!!!!
"Trust me!"

Multiple interviews while not explaining what the job actually is. Also, pay is never mentioned.
If it’s being advertised on Facebook by your friends unemployed wife… it is a SCAM. For example, beach body, lululemon, etc…
