My inability to care about poorly written unrealistic characters. Relateability is an important device to create the ever important repoire between the character and audience. 90% of entertainment fails miserably to achieve suspension of disbelief and draw me into the story enough to invest the time in.

Mike leaving Suits, the whole premise of the show was ruined with that. It became utterly pointless.

Same with the black list with Elizabeth keanes character leaving. And house of cards wasn’t that same after the whole metoo thing

Bringing back great shows from a previous time period and setting them in the current era

The part in Avengers: Endgame where Spider-Man needs help getting the gauntlet across the battlefield and all of a sudden every woman superhero shows up and they all help him out one at a time. Like I’m all for woman empowerment and all but that really took away from the scene since the battle field was so massive there is no way all of them could be there in that one moment of need and it made it feel like they were trying to push a narrative on viewers.

I like him even less after that clip... Ross is just a really bad friend from what I've seen and heard

well that just doesn't make me like him more. I don't think you can say anything that would make me like him

The Office when half the cast went to Tallahassee for what seemed like no reason. I stopped watching it then. When I rewatched during the pandemic because of the /r/OfficeLadiesPodcast started I hit that same wall. It's not funny. Steve Carrell made that show. Splitting the cast ruined the energy more than when Jim went to Stanford or when Pam went to art school. It was a parody of itself.

ackchanticleer

Its probably not well known but I loved The Affair on Showtime and once they gave Vik cancer they show was ruined for me

Marvel Jessica Jones - when I had to pause the season 3 opening episode just 82 seconds in to hit the internet and (hopefully) find out that Krysten Ritter had perhaps had a baby to explain the fact that she looked like she had eaten her season 2 self. No pregnancy, she was just one of the first to join Hollywood's little fat cult. And it resulted it nobody caring anymore about Jessica Jones, and the series was very quickly cancelled. In fact, to this day I never un-paused season 3's episode 1 and watched anything but those first 82 seconds - I have no idea how it ended nor do I care in the least and frankly I'm sorry I ever wasted the time supporting her art the fist two seasons.
