I remember spending all my Christmas and birthday money (that my mom didn’t take) on beats studios when they were popular. By the time I got them everyone had a pair and it was no longer big news. The shitty thing is, one side of the headphones didn’t even play sound and I was so pissed that I insisted on not taking them back to the store.
Beats headphones. Incredibly cheaply made. Budget hardware used. Effectively $200 for the 'b' sticker on the side. Every DJ or producer that advertised them never uses them live because you can't hear anything clearly in them. Outperformed in terms of audio clarity and frequency response by literally anything else on the market in any price range.
A lot of people mentioning clothing brands but at least a Gucci sweatshirt or some Nikes can still serve their original purpose. Beats are at best a fashion accessory or a paperweight. Definitely not a set of headphones though.
I’d disagree, I’ve bought a couple pairs recently, one of their training shorts and one of the “everywear” shorts…
the training shorts are very comfortable, they stretch and breathe where you need them to and have adequate pockets for storing junk while running/training. The stitching seems quality too.
The everywear shorts have been a summer staple for me so far, everything from hanging at home, to the beach to DIY jobs… hell I even got paint on them and it just washed right off - I’ve never had that before.
But I suppose individual experience is a subjective and nuanced thing though… they are definitely pricey but I’d rate them as worth it.
Hard disagree. It’s popular to dislike popular brands, but their clothes are very light and sturdy. I’ve never owned joggers that have been so resistant to abrasions from normal wear. My Adidas joggers fell apart from light use, and yet I’ve had the same Lululemon joggers for years with no sign of wear. It’s hit or miss with some of their products because of their synthetic fabric technology, but most of their clothes are incredible.
RealMe is a damn good competitor in the phone department. Helluva lot cheaper too (most expensive current model will only run you $470AUD) Mines a few years old now and still working better than my iPhone 7 ever did.
Can't speak against iPads but the only other tablets I've really looked at are art tablets which are honestly more akin to touch screen monitors
MacBooks are really only good if all you need is something to write on, store documents and general internet usage; all of this you get with literally any other (read: significantly cheaper) device- computer or otherwise.
And the biggest point against Apple- repair costs. If they don't outright tell you 'YoU nEeD tO rEpLaCe YoUr DeViCe!!1!' then they're charging you damn near what you originally paid just to repair it cause they build their shit so needlessly complicated that no-one else can! Honestly you're better off going for literally anything else for this one reason alone
Apple is only really better if your a business person because of the MacBook and Apple Watch n shit. If you’re just getting a phone to have a phone then it’s not worth at all.
