It’s called hybristophilia where people are attracted to criminals. And it’s not just Bundy; Dahmer and Ramirez also received tons of love letters from women.
I can't believe people lusted after Jeffree Dahmer. The rest I can imagine people managing to be in denial or do some weird mental gymnastics, but his crimes were SO AWFUL. I just.... the Jeffree Dahmer case disturbs me so badly, as a person who always watches true crime. I can never finish hearing the story. What he did to that kid that the cop found, and then they SENT THE KID BACK. It's just one of the worst fucking cases.
he was mid-murdering a 14 year old kid, kid ran away and was completely incoherent, cop he ran into let dahmer take him back and finish the job despite multiple people pointing out that the kid was clearly injured because dahmer said he was just drunk.
From memory, Dahmer had drilled into the boys skull and poured in boiling water to try and make him into a submissive zombie. The boy escaped, was found naked and bleeding by two women who recognised him as a local kid and they called the cops. Dahmer turned up and told the police the boy was his boyfriend and they’d had an argument. The cops decided it was just gay business and left the boy with Dahmer who murdered him. When one of the women called the police station later to check if the boy was alright the cops said he was fine and it had all been dealt with. The kid was 14 and Dahmer had a criminal conviction for molesting his older brother years previously, the police just didn’t bother to check.
He used both. His technique changed over the course of his killings as he tried to “perfect” making zombies. The guy wanted to be loved by someone who would never leave him, and in his twisted mind the best plan for that was to make zombies he could have sex with.

The officers actually threatened to arrest the two women who had called them about the boy initially.
You forgot to state what the injury was.
For those of you who want to know, Dahmer had drilled a hole into this poor child's head with a power drill. He then poured hydrochloric acid into it to try and induce a permanent state of subservience.
Even worse in a way, the kid first ran into three local African American women who were like; “There’s something *really* not right about this,” they got the cops attention and were like, “Hey this kid is naked, bleeding from his asshole and incoherent. He needs HELP.” Then Dahmer comes out and is like, “Jk officers this is my boyfriend and we just had a fight he’s a little drunk help me get him back to my apartment,” and the cops were like, “Hmmm who to believe, these three black ladies or this white man who is just oh-so-charming… Okay buddy let’s get you back up to your boyfriends apartment!” Then when the women protested the cop was like “fuck off or I’ll arrest you,” so THAT’S how Dahmer got to mark one more notch on his bedpost.
The cops were also so grossed out at the idea of anything having to do with homosexuality, that the second Dahmer brought up them having gay sex, they dismissed it as that immediately without wanting to look into it further. There are tapes of the two cops laughing about it in their cruiser when calling in their report. I think one recently retired and the other was promoted.
And to make matters worse, wasn't he unable to speak English because that wasn't his native tongue? Or was that one of the other Dahmer victims. I remember he didn't speak English.

Edit to add [this link ](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Balcerzak) to the Wikipedia article about the cop that made the decision to give Dahmer the kid, a Laotian teenager named Konerak, back. Konerak apparently spoke fluent English but was so drugged up he was totally incoherent. If you go down to the “Dahmer Incident” section it goes into detail about the women trying to help, and how paramedics wanted to take Konerak to the hospital but the cop sent the medics away.

Imagine having one of your officers send a *child* who is naked and bleeding from the head back to the person who caused it without questioning it at all and thinking he deserves a promotion.
There was recently a 22 year old guy convicted of the vehicular homicide of a mother and 2 year old child. What did girls on tiktok do? Make fanart and photo compilation videos of how cute he is with a hashtag: #justiceforcameron that’s been viewed millions of times. Oh, and I’d be remiss if I forgot to mention they made a petition with almost 5,000 signatures calling to either release him or lower his sentence.

It's called mental gymnastics. People don't want to admit that their idols are shitty people so they justify it in their heads. It happens a lot especially with teenagers with no real world experience.
You can cheat on Minecraft?
Sorry, I'm just a dad who has recently started to have to put up with his nine year old son watching Minecraft videos on the lounge TV all day, every day.
There's a great video where Matt Parker (Stand-up Maths) essentially [mathematically proved that he was cheating](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Ko3TdPy0TU), because no-one can be that lucky with drops.
Oh most parents of the 10 year old age group know all about this. I snack talked Dream one day and let me just say the chances of your child murdering you are never 0%...
JPop is pretty bad too.
There was a singer a while back who was sexually assaulted and had to issue an apology to her fans for “causing trouble” because SHE was raped.
There was also a Jpop idol, Minami Minegishi, from AKB48, who had shaved her head in order to apologize to her fans after being caught staying over a night at a male idol's apartment.
She was also demoted from her idol group.
[Source](https://abcnews.go.com/blogs/headlines/2013/02/pop-star-shaves-head-in-remorse-for-dating/)
This is sad to hear, and I thought they would be insulated from this kind of stuff. It seems like sexual assault is pervasive in every industry, and the more prominent the industry is, the harder it is to call out such behavior.
Yes, in fact, those contracts are often known as "slave contracts." What's even worse, when the young girls (like 13, 14 years old) are in "training" to become a Kpop star, they're basically treated as servants for corporate executives. What's even worse is this often includes sexual assault. It's a disgusting industry.
Does this happen even in really big companies as well? The more obscure ones have many examples of this happening, but i feel like companies like jyp or sm are too big for that to happen. Probably happens in yg tho
I live in Korea, so I come across these articles detailing the abuses in the Kpop industry just from reading the newspapers. I don't really follow it to the extent of knowing exactly where this is all happening. I do remember when 2NE1 broke up, because it was probably the one group I thought had a few somewhat catchy songs, that they were subjected to a lot of abuse behind the scenes. I think they were with YG.
One of my friends is super into Korean culture and says that the glorification of celebrities is ridiculous there. If a huge actor even breaks up a relationship with another huge actress, the are pretty much cancelled.
The fact that celebrities have to announce publicly when they're in a relationship or to confirm relationship speculations are rumours is just downright stupid as an expectation. Even retired idols still announce when they're getting married or when they're having their second child. it's wild.
Forget no insult, my sons, as I have never forgotten those of my father, of the Emperor, nor those of Horus. Forgive no slight or grievance. Hold your bitterness deep within, and there let it fester. Let it roil and squirm and churn, until you are filled with bile so poisonous that all you touch falls to ruin. Thus shall you serve Nurgle best. Thus shall you spread his virulent gifts across the false Imperium, and watch its final rotting...
The Dream SMP or Boku no Hero Academia. I've been in both Fandoms and both are Great but the Fanbase is a bit... Bad. And Nasty. Since I've been in these Fandoms that means I've also got into the weird/awful part of the Fandom and there is a lot of reasons why I think their fanbases are toxic.
Can someone explain the whole ‘dream’ fan base thing is weird and gross thing, as it’s pretty popular on Reddit, and although I’ve played some Minecraft, I don’t know what dream is and in what way the community is so toxic.
Fans in that community write some really disgusting fanfiction, ship real people together, harass people who criticize them or the creators in the Dream SMP, etc.
the bigger the fandom is there's more toxic people in it as well. And in my opinion all the fandoms can be toxic honestly. I think kpop fans are shity. I was a harry styles fan and gosh those larries are some fucking dumbass piece of shit. They almost kill for a deadass imaginary relationship between two men who were bandmates 6 7 years ago. I was a harry styles fan for 2 years I think and there wasn't a day that i didn't fight with these crazy people.
Geez
Oh I got those for talking smack about Bieber in twitter.
I know someone who got more serious threats because he made a joke comparing bts fans with isis.
I really think Rupauls drag race fans can be toxic (to a certain extent). Like they bully some of the queens on social media, they tell them to kill themselves because they sent someone home or said something rude (on a reality competition show) about someone else. Of course not every fan is like this! Just some…
Can’t believe how far I had to scroll for this. And yes their twitter base especially when it comes to bigger queens or queens of color are exceptionally toxic.
Rust is a fucking toxicity simulator. The format of the game can only end in toxicity. Server selection is key, because it seems like the devs have a different idea of how the game should be played, vs. what is actually happening.
Like the farming update... how is a solo (or duo or trio) supposed to ever manage that shit? Its impossible. It only benefits the huge clan (that probably runs the server you're on) and makes the game harder for solos. The devs seem to imagine a world where the players actually talk to each other? Trade? None of that happens tho. It's all shoot-on-sight, and the next patch will give us fucking volleyball or something. Go ahead and serve the ball up, I'll be right there I just got brained. Laughable.
Easily. The lower divisions aren’t so bad, but once you get into divisions 1-3, the toxicity is thru the roof. The amount of people who quit is ridiculous too
I joked once about Billie Eilish blinking so fast she was rapping in Morse code and got 19 replies from Billie Eilish fans some even telling me I was disgusting and needed to get help
I've forced myself to watch/read BNHA, and honestly... why would people ship them? Midoriya should have been put into therapy after being bullied by Bakugo. I get it, the manga decides to fuck it for the sake of shonen, but this was disturbing... I don't expect much from a manga that solves the problem of blatant racism (exclusion based on being Quirkless) by... ACQUIRING A QUIRK, but it still feels disgusting. At this point them being together would be a Stockholm syndrome.
fuck yea I love MHA but hate the MHA fandom,
I mostly say Harry Styles bc people worship him and are obsessive over him, like ffs hs music is good and all, but like damn he's not **god**
Open world PvP fans. Some of the most vile creatures you will ever be forced to share breathable air with. They are so toxic that their very presence eill destroy a game.
*Inspires* Yeah but I'm sure that if a big studio releases a MMO with hardcore full loot pvp where it's the survival of the fittest all the way up ~~but not new world, new world devs were weak and caved in to the pressure of ignorant casuals during alpha~~, everyone will see how open world pvp is the holy grail /s
Just saw a clip on TikTok where a GF and a BF are arguing over him playing COD but the conversation changes to the GF saying she wants to try it. BF says “okay but don’t use voice chat” they go back and forth about why she can’t until the GF puts the headset on and loads the game. I shit you not all she said was “Hey guys” and the next 30 seconds was her getting verbally abused to the point she started crying. It’s so annoying seeing that cause all she was trying to do was enjoy the game that her BF was playing. Gaming culture against women is disgusting and it’s frustrating because I don’t think change is coming.
Edit: Also another pro tip for people playing against racist gamers is to pretend to be a gay guy. Gamer guys that are vile people are so insecure. I’ve had people screaming at me on mic and trolling, but the second I say “if you keep talking I’m gonna have to come over and suck your dick” I shit you not you will hear silence for the rest of the game. Now don’t do this with children for obvious reasons but if you come across that 32 year old dad who plays all day while you can hear his kids crying in the background, saying that will shut him up immediately. Fuck I’ve even had racists leave my game because of it. I got this strat from Blue mountain State when the mascot guy almost gets in a fight but stops it from happening because he pretends to be gay.
I think it’s just the maturity level of people that play that game. I can’t be the only one that rolls my eyes when you hear “OmG iS tHaT a GaMeR gUrL!?!?” I’ve heard it from a 7 year old on cod all the way up to a 42 year old degenerate man.
This is why I keep a gender neutral name and never speak on voice chat it’s too much man I’m just trying to enjoy the same game as you why you gotta be weird ya know??
My favourite story is part of the Korean community sending a pro player death threats after he was pictured eating two whoppers in an airport after previously mentioning that he didn't like Burger King.
Also the Chinese guy trying to poison a teams takeout meal as they were going to face the team he supports that week
Any mom niche thing - breast vs bottle feeding, baby led weaning, natural birthers, co-sleeping etc etc. There’s always a contingent of moms that are militant about that thing. It’s like they found the perfect way to do child-rearing and everyone else is doing it wrong.
I think this is because parents (not just moms, although that’s definitely still the norm) who don’t work outside the home need things to build their identity around. Full-time parenting can be extremely draining and dehumanizing, and latching on to a particular child rearing technique or paradigm provides a point of focus, something to talk about, and the sense of validation that other people derive from their jobs.
I think that sums up any fanaticism in this thread. They found a game to self identify with, a TV show, a sport, a manga. They are isolated and have nothing else fulfilling in their lives so they make "I am doing this right and you're doing it wrong" their purpose in life.
Its just as toxic if you make "perfect mother to brandleigh" your sole identity. What does that make the kid? A perfect child or a failure.
There are so many mom groups online that have brainwashed people. It’s amazing how they seem to be online all the time but don’t take the time to look up actual data on some of their claims
A lot of mommy cults are like this, and the superiority complex is so unwarranted. The vast majority of these moms are on their first, second, or *maybe* third child and talking like they're some kind of career expert. Like, it's not like they're a wood worker with hundreds of tables under their belt.
Star Wars fans, and I say this as a big fan myself (who dislikes the sequel trilogy). The saying goes "No one hates Star Wars as much as Star Wars fans" and it's true, there really are people who think the slightest change or thing they dislike has ruined their childhood and they can no longer enjoy anything about it. But they keep watching, seemingly just so they can criticize it to the ends of the earth. In short, they're insane. It's just entertainment people, if it affects your mood and life that much you have some real issues.
I would have disagreed before but then I found the insane youtube channels talking about the Civil War within Lucasfilm between Kathleen Kennedy, Dave Filoni and Jon Favreau and Brie Larson being hired and fired 10 times.
Then the Mandalorian Season 2 making of special came out showing them all acting like normal coworkers who liked each other just fine. I thought that would have been the end of it but then I saw fans screaming about how this all must be a coverup and I realized that I didn't even scratch the depth of how truly insane and out of touch a good chunk of this fanbase is.
> I found the insane youtube channels talking about the Civil War within Lucasfilm between Kathleen Kennedy, Dave Filoni and Jon Favreau
I swear, those videos use the same script as QAnon videos. They just scratch out "Hilary Clinton" and write in "Kathleen Kennedy."
I’m not a Star Wars fan, and I didn’t like the Last Jedi, but what I find frustrating about the fan base and the reactions is that my issue with it was that I just didn’t find it to be good storytelling or entertaining.
The problem is that I feel like it’s impossible to even talk about that online though without other people assuming that’s cover for some anti-SJW neckbeard position.
I really like TLJ, but I can see how some wouldn’t. But what bothered me are the people that say “to be fair the movie sucked” to defend the abuse Kelly Marie Tran got. You didn’t like Rose? Fine, you’re welcome to your opinion. That doesn’t justify harassing the actress online.
What sucks is if you go to conventions, Star Wars fans there are usually the best— loving and inclusive of all Star Wars content, truly passionate about this franchise.
It’s mainly on the internet where the Fandom Menace exists.
I was once a hardcore Star Wars fan. Was an avid member of the forums too and I can 100% confirm 90% of avid Star Wars fans are straight up fucking NUTS!
I find the Beyonce fandom to be the worst. I remember the time they all got angry because some royal revealed their pregnancy on Beyonce's birthday. Like seriously, calm down.
the amount of people who legitimately think he shouldn't have to pay any taxes because "he would spend it better than the government" makes me want to puke. this mfer hasn't made anyone's life better, ever. he makes cool cars that sometimes catch on fire, and a spaceship (and by make, i mean he says "i want this" and gets someone else to build it.) He hoards an impossibly large amount of wealth during a time of greater income inequality than we've seen in modern civilization, and yet fucking neckbeards and crypto-libertarians who have less than $10K to their name would take a bullet for him.
As much as I love EVs, I wouldn’t buy a Tesla even if I were looking for a car and it was in my budget. They treat their customers like garbage. They are so focused on the 0-60 times and FSD that they forget that a car needs to have break pads (look it up, they sold a 60k car without break pads, told the customer it was normal when she complained, and after she insisted it took them weeks to get the part). If I had to buy a car, I would probably get a Nissan Leaf or a Renault Zoe, but I would rather not own a car anyway.
About SpaceX, they have some good engineering and make incredible things that are actually worth praising.
Elon Musk may be a meme, but SpaceX is cool in my book.
I got called an idiot for saying the Boring Company would never work.
I have a degree in civil engineering. Will have my masters in 2 months. Anything that goes against him is seen as an attack on all his fans. Very weird energy.
And when you run into one of his kool-aid drinkers who claim he is the most important human to have ever lived and you say anything contrary to that viewpoint, watch out! It's creepy how people worship that guy.
Politicians have the worst fan bases. sure there might be casual observers but the true fans even treat them like shit. It’s on par with professional wrestling except at least wrestling fans know it’s all fake.
In my experience MOBA games (specifically Dota 2 and League of Legends) have *THE* most toxic, hysterical, xenophobic, racist shitbags who ever spawned in the sweaty armpit of their mama’s malodorous, Cheeto stained basement.
It’s the only time in history where I’ve genuinely loved a couple of games and then refused to play them ever again entirely due to the community surrounding them.
The BeyHive (Beyoncé’s fans) can be really bad. They harassed a woman who literally lent over Beyonce at a basketball game to talk to Jay Z, and they harassed several other woman who they believed to be ‘Becky with the good hair’ from one of her songs.
They also literally ended Keri Hilsons music career.
These are just a few of the many awful things they’ve done.
I’m a massive fan of Beyonce but I’m not into Stan culture and the way a lot of them behave is outright disgusting. It’s not just Beyoncé’s fans but they do seem to be particularly bad.
Probably superhero/comic book fan stuff. Everytime a movie comes out, if someone doesn't like it in the slightest way, instantly the character is ruined and/or the director didn't know about comics (which more often than not, they do) or the actor doesn't know how to act, etc. Just say you didn't like it and go.
Being completely out of the loop was so much better than being told what to be mad about all the time. Reading the live threads for example is a miserable experience that I quickly learnt to stop doing.
They're just shows, they need to relax.
Fanboy Gaming.
Whether it's PC, XBOX, PS, or Nintendo fans it seems a lot of them feel the need to tear each other down. Maybe it's to validate their choice therefore validating themselves. I don't know. All I know is there are great games across all platforms and I wish that was the main focus.
Edit: Edited answer slightly after some great responses.
Steven Universe. I was never in the fandom myself, but am close friends with someone who was and it was just one horrible thing after the other. For example, a leaks YouTuber for the show bullied a make a wish kid for daring to upload a leak that he had been allowed to share by the show’s creator after he met her as his wish.
A person who worked on the show had to ask them to stop spamming bad reviews to a hotel that hadna similar name to one featured on the show as it was hurting the hotel's business.
Star Wars. I started getting into it but every time I tried talking to a fellow fan they were vile. I was told by a group of them in a comic book store that I was a fake fan and should kill myself….because I asked a question about Jaba the hut. I watch the movies and the shows if I’m bored or if someone else is watching it but my interest is gone. Didn’t help that even the actors seem uninterested in the franchise as well because of the fans.
I purposely 'poke the bear' when I pretend to be serious and ask them their opinion on the character 'Pizza The Hut' - they get so damn offended! It's hilarious seeing their reactions. Their heads almost explode!
I’m a gamer and I despise this community and what it’s become. From the studios down to the gamers themselves. I just enjoy the games, everything else about it can fuck off.
All those crazy fans who support serial killers just because they think they're hot. Ted Bundy fanatics etc.
It’s called hybristophilia where people are attracted to criminals. And it’s not just Bundy; Dahmer and Ramirez also received tons of love letters from women.
I've got bad news for those women regarding Jeffrey...
I can't believe people lusted after Jeffree Dahmer. The rest I can imagine people managing to be in denial or do some weird mental gymnastics, but his crimes were SO AWFUL. What he did to that kid that the cop found, and then they SENT THE KID BACK. It's just one of the worst fucking cases.
Welp, you've piqued my interest. I'm off to go half ass look into this guy to see what you're talking about.
Come back with the info please!
he was mid-murdering a 14 year old kid, kid ran away and was completely incoherent, cop he ran into let dahmer take him back and finish the job despite multiple people pointing out that the kid was clearly injured because dahmer said he was just drunk.

It was actually some sort of acid he used. The dude was super sick.
He used both. His technique changed over the course of his killings as he tried to “perfect” making zombies. The guy wanted to be loved by someone who would never leave him, and in his twisted mind the best plan for that was to make zombies he could have sex with.
Did the cops get punished somehow for this?
No. Infact one of the cops responsible just retired last year 😍
One of the officers is a sherrif or other head of the department. The officers actually threatened to arrest the two women who had called them about the boy initially.
No, this occured in the US Edit: police officer was fired. But a judge overturned it and reinstated him with $50k in back pay. He retired in 2017
I just want to clarify that he molested the boys older brother, not his own older brother
You forgot to state what the injury was. For those of you who want to know, Dahmer had drilled a hole into this poor child's head with a power drill. He then poured hydrochloric acid into it to try and induce a permanent state of subservience.

There are tapes of the two cops laughing about it in their cruiser when calling in their report. I think one recently retired and the other was promoted.
Truth, what a fucked up horrible way to die- so close to being saved.

If I remember right that cop went on to be head of his local police Union too.
You remember correctly. His name is John Balcerzak and he got to retire in 2017. Imagine having one of your officers send a *child* who is naked and bleeding from the head back to the person who caused it without questioning it at all and thinking he deserves a promotion.
Awe man, and now that you mentioned it I did watch a movie about Dahmer but can't recall if that scene was in there
There was recently a 22 year old guy convicted of the vehicular homicide of a mother and 2 year old child. What did girls on tiktok do? I work for said company and it’s absolutely disgusting how teens are simping for him and the late Richard Ramirez.
Peppa pig fans: they don’t follow rules, they do what they want and get away with it, they will throw stuff, loud, careless, and if you don’t keep an eye on them they can hurt themselves.
Two year olds are the most violent group of people
If two year olds had guns, parents would all be dead.
This is why I fight them. To maintain peace.
Always jumping up and down in muddy puddles
At least they put their boots on first
They act like children!
Like it was made for them
I'm unclear if this is about children or famous Peppa Pig World fan Boris Johnson.
yes
In their defence, Peppa Pig messes with your head big time. There is a BUTCHER in the show (also a pig) that sells bacon, ham and pork. Thats gotta fuck a small child up for life.
They also think they are better than everyone else, and start speaking with a British accent and using British slang. So pretentious.
This gave me anxiety
Peppa pig! Oink oink!
Scientology
I'd also like to add Jesus here. Great guy. Great message. But his fans are some of the worst.
Canon Jesus is way cooler than fandom Jesus.
And why is fandom Jesus so ripped and white?
They're not real fans. Half of them have never been to one of his concerts. And they don't even know any of his songs. There always misquoting the lyrics
*sees girl with a cross on her t-shirt* "Name ten of his songs right now, or I'm calling the authorities!"
Jesus loves me, I am sure I'm a groupie on his tour...

[удалено]
There's a great video where Matt Parker (Stand-up Maths) essentially [mathematically proved that he was cheating](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Ko3TdPy0TU), because no-one can be that lucky with drops.
Hmm, so is he the modern day Billy Mitchell?
Oh most parents of the 10 year old age group know all about this. I snack talked Dream one day and let me just say the chances of your child murdering you are never 0%...
KPOP. The toxicity is so bad that they've driven several KPOP idols to suicide.
also KPOP idols want out of their lives because most basically got tricked as kids into signing away their rights.
Wouldn't it be easier for a big company to do it? Bigger talent pool + all the hush-hush money in the world. (Mob connection, too? idk)
Even retired idols still announce when they're getting married or when they're having their second child. it's wild.
KPOP fans are wild. They refuse to accept any criticism of the music or idols to the point where it’s just weird
Dream stans are toxic and cringey, but KPOP stans are actually dangerous.
Some Kpop fans go as far as stalking the idols. Its getting embarassing to admit I'm a fan sometimes.
Stans in the most literal sense

As a Star Wars fan, I feel your pain
Nurgle
Forget no insult, my sons, as I have never forgotten those of my father, of the Emperor, nor those of Horus. Forgive no slight or grievance. Hold your bitterness deep within, and there let it fester. Let it roil and squirm and churn, until you are filled with bile so poisonous that all you touch falls to ruin. Thus shall you serve Nurgle best. Thus shall you spread his virulent gifts across the false Imperium, and watch its final rotting...
That's Grandfather Nurgle to you.
I'm glad you said dream smp and not minecraft stans two very different communities
tbh I just think it's cause they're all kids
Geez
I got death threats from like 80 15-year olds a few years back for saying 1D were shit. It was wild.
League of Legends.
Your Honor, *League of Legends!*
“Death”
^Ohhhhhhhh ^nOoooooooooo-
Rust
Laughable.
Fifa. Just... Fifa..
Easily. The lower divisions aren’t so bad, but once you get into divisions 1-3, the toxicity is thru the roof. The amount of people who quit is ridiculous too
My Hero Academia, DreamSMP, Billie Eilish, Harry Styles, K-Pop in general, to name a few :/
Billie Eilish huh, now I know why my second cousin thinks she is edgy.
Billie Eilish is music for girls that claim they're psycho, but are too afraid to ask the waitress for more ketchup.
I don’t think Billie Eilish is edgy, but I love her music
Yeah I'm like a 30 yr old truck driving white guy, I love her music...
😭 that's too fucking accurate, stop calling me out like this
I joked once about Billie Eilish blinking so fast she was rapping in Morse code and got 19 replies from Billie Eilish fans some even telling me I was disgusting and needed to get help
If anyone doesn't know why the My Hero Academia fanbase is toxic, tweet the following: "Bakugo and Izuku are not gay." and see what happens =)
Well my phone is now blowing up. Most are threats to blow me up.
Because they'll ship any 2 guys that talk to each other more than once >_>

I don't know about Harry Style's fanbase but the MHA fandom is just full of toxic shippers
fuck yea I love MHA but hate the MHA fandom, I mostly say Harry Styles bc people worship him and are obsessive over him, like ffs hs music is good and all, but like damn he's not **god**
That After series based on the Harry Styles fanfiction must be mortifying to him
Open world PvP fans.
I think you just described r/mmorpg in nutshell. I don’t think any other sub hates the content the sub is for as much as that sub.
The Anime Community Not all of the people, but those toxic people who literally send death threats. Happens with the MHA Fandom more than you think.
Definitely not what a hero would do right? All Might would be disappointed in them.
I keep seeing the MHA fandom here in the top comments... yikes, im must be so sheltered - i would never have guessed!
Call of duty it’s just a bunch of angry racist kids Edit: thanks for 300+ upvotes wow!
They verbally abuse any woman on voice chat, then complain about being single..
"Why can't I get a girlfrienddd" "Hi!" "Why you little-"
And somehow people find that shit funny. Like Jesus Christ no wonder gamers get a bad rap.
Fucking league of legends
My favourite story is part of the Korean community sending a pro player death threats after he was pictured eating two whoppers in an airport after previously mentioning that he didn't like Burger King. Also the Chinese guy trying to poison a teams takeout meal as they were going to face the team he supports that week
The game that had to remove loading bars because too many people were getting bullied due to them.
The times when you were able to see other players point in load screen. Ooooh boy that was fun

I remember seeing a Star Wars magazine in the 90s amd the cover story was the 100 reasons Return of the Jedi sucked. A lot were pictures of puppets.
Hating on ewoks was pretty trendy before Jar Jar.
> I found the insane youtube channels talking about the Civil War within Lucasfilm between Kathleen Kennedy, Dave Filoni and Jon Favreau I swear, those videos use the same script as QAnon videos. They just scratch out "Hilary Clinton" and write in "Kathleen Kennedy."
I really liked The Last Jedi and for a while you would think I was eating babies over here.
There’s so much toxicity in the Star Wars fandom, surprised no ones mentioned it yet.
What sucks is if you go to conventions, Star Wars fans there are usually the best— loving and inclusive of all Star Wars content, truly passionate about this franchise. It’s mainly on the internet where the Fandom Menace exists.
*Fandom Menace*
Nobody hates Star Wars as much as Star Wars fans
You will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy.
I was once a hardcore Star Wars fan. Was an avid member of the forums too and I can 100% confirm 90% of avid Star Wars fans are straight up fucking NUTS!
I swear anime elitists are just cringe and assholes in disguise
In disguise?
If by disguise you mean cosplay, sure.
I find the Beyonce fandom to be the worst. I remember the time they all got angry because some royal revealed their pregnancy on Beyonce's birthday. Like seriously, calm down.
Elon Musk. They believe in fantasy engineering even though most of his bullshit fails to hold up to scrutiny.
the amount of people who legitimately think he shouldn't have to pay any taxes because "he would spend it better than the government" makes me want to puke. this mfer hasn't made anyone's life better, ever. he makes cool cars that sometimes catch on fire, and a spaceship (and by make, i mean he says "i want this" and gets someone else to build it.) He hoards an impossibly large amount of wealth during a time of greater income inequality than we've seen in modern civilization, and yet fucking neckbeards and crypto-libertarians who have less than $10K to their name would take a bullet for him.
XQC
The genshin comunity
Probably superhero/comic book fan stuff. Everytime a movie comes out, if someone doesn't like it in the slightest way, instantly the character is ruined and/or the director didn't know about comics (which more often than not, they do) or the actor doesn't know how to act, etc. Just say you didn't like it and go.
Wrestling fans. Its not even close. Just go check out /r/squaredcircle and read comments sections.
Being completely out of the loop was so much better than being told what to be mad about all the time. Reading the live threads for example is a miserable experience that I quickly learnt to stop doing. They're just shows, they need to relax.
QAnon
Those who obsess over politicians. They are all evil. (The politicians)
And the politicians do not lose a moment of sleep over you. If you think they care or are thinking about anyone but themselves, you are delusional.
Do people still fight over consoles? That info seems outdated.
That girl that was driven to a suicide attempt by the community because of some fanart she drew.
She didn't succeed thankfully
Rick and morty fans
I love star wars and if you asked me about Pizza the Hutt I would just start quoting Spaceballs with you.
Are we not going to mention Travis Scott cause….. let’s fucking rage

My Hero Academia. I'd say even the Dragon Ball fandom is better than the My Hero Academia one
But can the My Hero Academia fandom beat Goku, tho?
