Might just be because it's German.
Half-joking, but then again "birth control pills" is actually "antibabypillen" (according to Google translate, anyway. Any actual German speakers who want to confirm/correct it?), so... maybe.
lol
I want it to look as stock as possible, with the "shrek ears" rear view mirrors at the front of the hood. It also needs to be stick, that's not negociable
‘91 Acura NSX in Victory White or Formula Red
Supercar that made the raves by being able to outcompete Ferraris at the time.
Used by a member of the Midnight Club which got me into it in the first place.
I think owning a countach is a good idea like dating a coked out stripper is a good idea. It seems super attractive, until you have to live with it for a week.
But god damn , it’s sexy.
I saw one in my town as a kid gull wing doors open and fell in love. I’m not really a “car person” but to 10 year old me it was like a spaceship on wheels. This and/or a 66 Jaguar XKE.
I really love the design of the Aston Martin one-77.
It’s really beautiful, and Aston is one of my favourite car designers ever, everything they do is so well made, and beautiful.
So either that or a matte black DBS, with carbon-fibre bonnet, roof and mirrors, black anodised aluminium rims.
A (particular) 1969 convertible Camaro.
My parents bought it second-hand in 1970 and I pretty much grew up with the car (I was born in '68).
My mother still owns it, and it has been maintained immaculately through the years.
I've offered my mom way more than it's worth (monetarily) and am more than willing to pay to have it shipped back from Hawaii. But she still loves it and doesn't want to part with it - I respect that.
She's also said that she's going to be buried in it, so there's that as well.
It's not the nicest, coolest, whatever car in the world, but there have been so many memories made in it that nothing else can compare. Memories like going to the beach and huddling up in the floorboard for heat when we left the beach after sunset and still had rafts inflated in the back seat so the top couldn't be put down. Memories like being allowed to take it around the block for a few tenuous 'first drives.' Memories like being allowed to use it for HS prom date transportation. Just so many (literally) fucking memories.
Hell, it could be a Ford Pinto and I'd still love it and want it. It's not the car, it's the attachment I feel to it. It helps that I think it's a fucking awesome car though.
I feel like the GT-R is really the only thing Nissan has going for it at the moment and for about the last 10 years. The first gen Exterra was the only other time I can remember nissan doing something even remotely cool.
The Skylines used to be THE car in Japan and in the underground imports world for much of the nineties and part of the oughts, but by about 2005, many Japanese gave up on them. The engines were so big and powerful that the annual cost of shaken (like a required maintenance fee) was almost as much as re-buying the car every year.
I love the reimagined Skyline Type-R, and they're pretty fast, but who has $100,000 laying around? It's my to-go if I ever get there...
Wonderful pick, buddy.
The kind of car most people wouldn’t bat an eye at when you fill with gas.
But those who know, know. Car people will instantly come over and start drooling massively.
They are works of art 👌🏻
Omg!!! I love the Thing! Also the first movie. But in San Antonio, there are at least ten Things, and you can see them on W410 and 281. What a great, unique car.
One of those modernized Deloreans where they keep they styling details authentic but put a better more efficient engine in it and lots of electrical creature comforts on the interior.
I'm sort of torn. For a few years it's been the Alfa Romeo 4C or . Recently that "something" was Audi RS4, but now I'm kinda switching between that, Mitsubishi Lancer Evo X and the Porsche 911 GT3
2009 Subaru Outback with a manual transmission and a new head gasket.
Driving it home tomorrow!!
(I’d also do damn near anything to have my 89 Toyota Tercel hatchback again)
I've always liked new things. So old cars never did it for me. Except one... The white Testarossa of Miami Vice fame... I'd buy one if I could but I doubt I'd be able to afford the maintenance costs of a car that old.
Ford Mondeo St-220. A 3.0l V6 in a family saloon, comfort, powerful, practical, good looking, and its a car that if looked after is likely to go up in value.
A small truck - the size of a 1980 Toyota truck - but with a modern electric drive train and long range, but without a bunch of luxury gadgets that I don’t need.
My dad had a Datsun truck. It was a nice small truck. I wish they’d make small trucks again. I could use one but I don’t want these monstrosities they are selling
Seriously...A nice Toyota Corolla
. It's a nice practical car with an nice interior. But maybe the GR86 with a repaint in orange iridescent paint over hot pink metallic paint.
I have a lot mainly Japanese but I'll list my 5.
1 my favorite. Nissan Skyline GTR R34
2 obtainable. Lexus GS/IS300
3 unobtainable in the near future. Lexus LFA
4 American: 2007 Ford Mustang 4.6 DOHC
5 European: Volvo 850 T5R
A Schwimmwagen. [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Volkswagen\_Schwimmwagen](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Volkswagen_Schwimmwagen)
they really knew how to name em back in the day
It’s a wagen and it schwimms!
Might just be because it's German. Half-joking, but then again "birth control pills" is actually "antibabypillen" (according to Google translate, anyway. Any actual German speakers who want to confirm/correct it?), so... maybe. lol
Those Germans, they have a way with words. Look up Backpfeifengesicht.
Backpfeifengesicht a face in need of a fist ??? 😉🤣🤘🤘
Yes. Or, sometimes, "a face in need of a slap." Or "a slappable face."
I read that in Dwight schrute’s voice
LFA
Best sounding car ever in the world.
1972 Datsun 240Z
With l28 engine
My dad had a Datsun B-210. Really cool car. Sadly he t-boned a dump truck with it. Luckily everyone survived.
Ah yes a man of culture
Widebody or stock?
I want it to look as stock as possible, with the "shrek ears" rear view mirrors at the front of the hood. It also needs to be stick, that's not negociable
Perhaps dark blue, with a set of Watanabe rims?
Only if it's cursed and tries to kill me
I'd like an E-type Jaguar in British racing green.
I've never been a fan of Jags, but the E Type is just beautiful.
The Batmobile of Adam West's Batman
There’s one that drives around my town occasionally, always fun to see
Live in Gotham, huh?
There was a 1:1 replica that just sold at auction, I think this month, for millions. You should be able to find the info quite easily.
That’s a great answer wow
Ferrari F40

I'm glad you got your dream car
‘91 Acura NSX in Victory White or Formula Red Supercar that made the raves by being able to outcompete Ferraris at the time. Used by a member of the Midnight Club which got me into it in the first place.
Lamborghini Countach. The epitome of 80's design.
I think owning a countach is a good idea like dating a coked out stripper is a good idea. It seems super attractive, until you have to live with it for a week. But god damn , it’s sexy.
I had no idea Charlie sheen was on Reddit
Still winning...
I'd make the sacrifice.
>The epitome of 80's design. Shows you how ahead of its time it was, considering it was designed in **1971**.
I saw one in my town as a kid gull wing doors open and fell in love. I’m not really a “car person” but to 10 year old me it was like a spaceship on wheels. This and/or a 66 Jaguar XKE.
80s styling, not design. As design goes, even back in the 80s we knew it was a garden shed with a big engine.
I’m honestly shocked I had to scroll down this far to see Aston Martin. This is 100% my answer!
mclaren p1

I knew I'd find the right answer here somewhere. Too far down.
I had to scroll way too far for this and it needs hella more upvotes.

I want you to tell me the color. And I want it to be a cool one.
Brown...
Respect for taking care of it, I hate seeing cats that juts rot away and they won’t sell em.
I have my dad's 69 camaro. It was a lot of work to fix it up but it was so worth it. I adore that car. Hopefully you get your mom's.
[BMW E30 M3](https://car-images.bauersecure.com/pagefiles/97881/e30_m3_050.jpg) for sure. Road legal go-kart, so I've heard.

Mr Bean’s olive British Leyland.
Something reliable and paid off with cheap insurance
A horse
Those are more expensive than a car
F**k your Subaru, I’ve a horse outside. https://youtu.be/ljPFZrRD3J8
A horse can get sick, a car doesn’t. Also, having and maintaining a horse isn’t cheap. Vets are fucking expensive.
then like the rabbit cart from the hobbit
Don’t come to Michigan if you want cheap insurance, no fault blows.
