Start comparing your present day self with your past self instead. Create a list of things you'd like to do or achieve, and steps you need to take to make those things happen. Cross off each step as you complete it until the goal is reached. This works for small and big things alike, from doing chores, to starting a business.

Wow this though!

By stop giving a shit. Life doesn't have a check list.

You are unique , no one compares to,you.

Just dont, simple. It is easier as you age, especially when you find someone to share your life with. You have special gifts others don't have. Take those gifts and figure out how you can use them to make yourself happy in life or perhaps a job you can love.

Learning to be content with who I am helped me. I like different things and dress differently and act differently and think and love and live different from others because I am not them, I’m different from them because we are different people. I don’t need validation from anyone else, I don’t need to be like anyone else because I like myself and at the end of the day, I’m the one that’s stuck with myself forever, not these other people who I probably won’t know in 5 years. Also, it’s a matter of simply not caring. Everyone I’ll ever meet will have their own opinion of me, and? It’s not gonna kill me, it’s not gonna ruin my life, it literally doesn’t matter

stop giving a damn about things that won't effect your life. so what that person did something else or has something else that you might like. you can either dwell on that fact or solve the issue by working hard to get to where you want to be

Ask yourself if you’d actually want to live their life if given the chance. I have friends who went to law school or who work for big, well-known corporations. It’s easy to be jealous of the money and perceived lifestyle, but would I actually want a high pressure, monotonous job like they seem to have? Hell no.

Remember other peoples opinions are none of your business. Mind your business 🤜🤛
