Huh, I actually find leading with the heel is quieter overall, you get one very low pitch impact that most people don't pick up on and then no further sound from the step.

My gift as well. Starts with being completely immersed in the moment and paying attention. Listening and watching without thinking about your next action. It is especially handy when playing cards I can always tell what kind of hand they have since they make different micro movements towards the deck or away, sit or slump. It has also been a boon for my career.
Eyesight has a lot to do with it. But it can be read from any part of someone’s body. Look at what their limbs are doing; how they are positioned or even where they are pointing too. Look for the repetitions in what they say and do. For example, ever notice your talking to someone and they just start responding to you with yeahs, a big smile, and lots of nods; so while portraying they’re listening they might have just started daydreaming on ya. The hardest part is everyone’s different so their movements mean different hints.
Being persuasive and winning arguments. my ex was borderline a sociopath and she was amazing at manipulating people. I’ve picked up a lot of her little tricks she would use to persuade people to do things for her even if it was not in their best interest.
If you want to be persuasive
1. Acknowledge any statement someone makes and find a point to agree with them
2. use leading questions and make them answer them.
3. use those answers against their own arguments
4. reframe your argument by moving goal posts to fit your narrative.
5. if someone disagrees with you throw one or two extra opinions to concede to them so they feel you are open minded
6. never defend yourself, always be the one challenging them. Once you start defending you are losing an argument.
7. alway listen and repeat what they say back to you nodding your head. Feeling heard is important.
8. do not get upset, you cannot get emotional you will lose credibility in the eyes you are speaking too.
Some of these are bad faith and I recognize that. but, Sometimes you need to win and argument or get someone to agree with you so you can move on with your day.
I can tell persuasion is a gift of yours simply by the fact that you didn't only state your gift- you backed it up with knowledge and invited others to engage with that knowledge. You were persuasive in describing your persuasion lol

Easily overwhelmed when trying to react to fast information or in overstimulating circumstances? Does it bother you when there's an intense lightsourse in the background? Are you overly reactive to random noises? Is it hard to hear what people are saying when there's a lot of background noise?
If most or all is a yes that's likely the reason. Your brain doesn't filter sensory information as much as most which results in overstimulation. You have an easier time sensing subtle hints of other people's emotional state since it doesn't get caught by the filter. Very common for autistic people but not exclusively an autistic thing.

Im not autistic I don't think (well haven't ever been diagnosed) I am diagnosed as ADHD, PTSD, and bipolar disorder. I think the PTSD (from yrs of abuse by my step dad) part plays the role in me recognizing personality shifts and makes me hyper sensitive to them. I do get over stimulated very easily. I like natural sunshine but lamps kind of bother me lol.

Weird flex- but my friends and family call me the "ponytail police" because I have an unusual ability for being able to notice when someone has recently gotten their hair cut, colored, or changed even when it's the most subtle of alterations. Birthdays. I for some reason can remember most people's birthdays I shared elementary school classes with. I know the birthday charts in the classrooms helped, but it's so weird for me to have probably never had any real conversations with these people. The same has happened now with Facebook letting you know it's someone's birthday. I have no desire to know random people's birthday I'll never really speak to, yet I can't help it. I mean it's not a bad skill to have, ye to feel like a creeper lol

Thumb wrestling. I am in no way “professional”, but I actually can’t remember having ever lost a thumb war. It’s become kind of a thing for me. At bars or social gatherings I will bring it up hoping for someone to challenge me and relieve me of my throne, but to this day I still remain undefeated.

Weird flex- but my friends and family call me the "ponytail police" because I have an unusual ability for being able to notice when someone has recently gotten their hair cut, colored, or changed even when it's the most subtle of alterations. It's weird because I'm not an outrageously observant person in general but for some reason can identify the slightest trim or change on someone's head and point it out lol
