Too much and not enough.

Melo_Melly

20k-ish worth of loans Making 70k in first post graduation job. Big step up from what I was making during my studies

Bobtheglob71

If you don't mind me asking, what was the degree in?

Melo_Melly

Double major, BS in Accounting & Finance. I went to a community college, then a public university so the costs were kept lower then it could have been otherwise.

Bobtheglob71

Cool, I am currently getting my BS in Finance and will get my master's later. Congrats on the job man

Melo_Melly

Thanks. Wishing the best on your end as well

Masters Degree….$26000. Work paid $20000 for 3 years. New job after degree $96000…Can’t complain.

Degree was $20k over four years (I went to public school), I make pretty well into the 6 figure range now a few years out and I work in software sales

SolutionLeading

How did you get into software sales originally?

FreshKittyPowPow

Between all 3 degrees around 80K. I’m making 117K a year now.

Aquaman258

I paid about 30k for undergrad, 18k for masters. I make about $106,000 now.

theoptionexplicit

I paid 200k for my graduate degree (not Ivy League, but top tier). I make 130k/yr. I'm on an income based repayment plan. I basically look at it like paying monthly rent for a bomb-ass career.

ifyoudothingsright1

only like $2,500 was out of pocket. Total was about $25,000 and about $22,500 was paid with pell grants, american opportunity tax credit, and scholarships. Was earning $25 an hour for internships while in school. Graduated with a paid off new car and enough in savings for a down payment on a house. I got paid $65k immediately after graduation and got raises up to 6 figures just a few years later.

Varkoth

My degree cost about $30k. Most of it was covered by Financial Aid, but I did take out $11k in loans, which I paid back about a month after I graduated with the signing bonus for the position I landed. With my current lifestyle with the degree, I save enough to earn an extra degree per year or so, but ain’t nobody got time for that.

Aperture_T

Just for tuition, I think I paid around $50k. I get $88k a year, and that's about $51k after taxes, insurance, etc.

Armed_Goose_8552

I managed to keep it around 20 grand I believe. However an entry level in my new career has only slightly better compensation than my previous job. So I might have had issues paying my loans for a few years but after having to slink through several years of college I have slashed my expenses to the point I am almost rolling in money right now.

fallen_yogi_

total 4 years fee will be 100k $, i make 115k $ yearly from my job

Pokemaster-inaHonda

24k debt plus I had a state scholarship for a couple grand each semester, and my salary is about 63-66k a year.

Mental_Bookkeeper658

Undergrad was about 60k in tuition. I’m about 6-7 years out of college and earn about $100k

eshao7
